Chapter 87: Chapter 87: After the Darkseid War I



[3rd POV]

After falling unconscious, Gwen was transported...somewhere. The space was immensely large, and dark...powerful. Energy filled the surroundings, and Gwen could feel what is was.

"The Omega Effect...not really what I was expecting. Does...does this include all of it's attributes? Like the "Omega Sanction" and the whole "trapping you in infinite synthetic lives that get worse and worse" thing? Cause I can't say I mind the power itself, but who it's connected to is definitely the issue here" Gwen muttered, before blinking.

[Detecting foreign influence...influence purged. Would the host like to use their tickets before the beginning of their assimilation?]

"Uh...sure?" Gwen muttered, now really sure what this situation was.

As Gwen read through the characters, her eyes widened in surprise, mainly because of the sheer power this would give her. The variety, the new Swordsmanship, the Devil fruits, haki, Psyokinesis, Noble Phantasms, Divine Dividing, and all the other powers this would give her. Literally every single one of them had some genuine use to her, and many of them were incredibly powerful, being in the highest levels of TL/Tier 6.

[Beginning assimilation of characters and the New God: Darkseid. Estimated duration: 1 week]

"Wait what?" Gwen exclaimed, before everything began to go dark, stopping her from saing anything more, as she was forced into a deep and powerful slumber, one meant to assimilate to the new body, adapt to the power, and assimilate the new characters that had a whole host of new powers, species, knowledge, and abilities.

[1 week later, Watchtower, League meeting room]

"We can't keep pushing this off! She's killed people! It is time to lock here away like the villain she is!" A very annoying voice sounded out, one that Gwen was not fond of in the least. The voice of Captain Atom.

"And we have been over this, Captain, she did what must be done. Had she not killed Darkseid, then he would have returned again, and again, and again. She stopped the invasion before it could get any worse. And while I don't like that someone as young as her had to do it, someone had to" Black Canary responded.

During this week, Captain Atom and some governments, had been advocating for her imprisonment. Mainly because of the reveal of her Spider Legion, and the fact that it took every last body and piece of technology from the invaders, not leaving a single one left for them to look into. It was mainly communist countries, or ones owned by less than likeable people.

America had some people who were protesting about her involvement and the Legion, but they were vastly outnumbered by those that were simply thankful for her saving them.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

During this week, Gwen had been unconscious within the Watchtower the entire time. Artemis, M'gann, and Raven had stayed by her side just about every single day, not letting anyone near her, besides Batman, Flash, and a few other League members that were trustworthy.

It was mainly Captain Atom, Superman, and Hawkman that had been pretty argumentative against the idea of keeping her there. Captain Atom and Hawkman more than Superman.

Superman had been against it due to the ease in which she killed Darkseid, and the lack of even a drop of empathy. Something that set off tons of red flags in his minds, and a few other League members once he pointed it out. But, they gave Gwen the benefit of doubt, and stopped any plans of imprisoning her before they happened. The ones that supported her the most were: The Green Lanterns, Batman, Shazam, Flash, Zatara, and Wonder Woman.

While unconscious, her body had been rapidly undergoing an evolution. One that none of the League members could see, as any attempt at scanning her body was met with a rather...violent reaction. Painful in the case of magic, and borderline explosive in the case of technology. So, the League was only forced to wait and see what the hell was happening to her.

"She's killed people, Canary! Even without talking about Darkseid, she killed the man with no empathy or remorse, no hesitation! I can guarantee you she's killed others without telling us. Like Joker! All these villains that got away during missions only to show up dead under the name of Gotham's infamous killer, "The Dark Lady". With all the powers that girl is awakening, what's to say she doesn't have shapeshifting like Manhunter! She could be a mass murderer and we wouldn't have even known!" Captain Atom yelled, slamming his fists on the table.

"Do you have proof of these allegations, Captain?" Batman's voice cut in, coldly, not showing a hint of emotion on his face.

"We-Well no, but it's obvious! Too many things are adding up for this to be one big coincidence!" Captain Atom replied, causing Batman to stare.

"Unless you've got genuine evidence, then I suggest you sit down and shut your mouth" Batman replied with a small glare, as Captain Atom growled and sat back down.

"Alright, now that that is over with, how have the rebuilding efforts been going?" The Flash asked awkwardly changing the conversation.

"According to the data, very very well. Due to Gwen's...Spider Legion, almost 15% of the total damages have already been repaired, and I suspect that once she awakens, the rate at which the rebuilding has been going, will dramatically increase" Bruce explained, as pictures of the Spider Legion around the world showed on a screen, pictures of them flying through the skies, putting together items and using their unique abilities to rapidly rebuild large buildings.

"The governments that are working with them, have been...attempting to capture some of them, but every try has failed, and will continue to fail. The countries that have refused their aid, have not repaired even 1% of their countries individual damages" Bruce added, causing the screen to flicker to show what looked to be a government tactical team attempting to capture one, only for them all to be knocked unconscious immediately.

"And how has the team been doing? I know M'gann, Artemis, and Raven haven't been sleeping. But what of Robin and the rest?" Canary asked, causing Bruce to glance to Red

Tornado, who spoke.

"They are...distracted. I have attempted to send them on missions to get their mind off of Gwen's condition, but they have made frequent mistakes. I believe Gwen's condition is making it difficult for them to properly work together like they were after she left" Red Tornado's robotic voice spoke, his "siblings" sitting next to him, each of them nodding along. They now worked with him in the Team, and were also working on becoming more...human.

"Maybe I can talk to them? They need help, and I think I can provi-"

Before Canary could continue, a loud alarm blared, as the entire Watchtower began to shake.

"What the hell is happening!" Green Arrow yelled, as he struggled to stay standing.

In response, Bruce just sighed, allowing a small smile to form on his face as he looked at a

small video, showing the surveillance of a certain room.

Looking up to the League as the quivering slowly stopped, Batman spoke, a small smile

gracing his face.

"It's Gwen...she's awake"

Not sure how well this one was made, as it was basically just the League talking, and her

getting her huge burst of characters, huge in power, not numbers.

I have a wheel of TL characters over 100+ strong. Including: One Piece Characters, Bleach Characters, Tons of Fate Characters, DXD characters, Naruto Characters, Akame Ga Kill Characters, Black Clover characters, Fairy Tail characters, and all sorts.

I also noticed that when it comes to One Piece, Fairy Tail, and Fate, the Vs battle wiki is...awful, like really really bad. Because there is no way in hell Artoria Pendragon is Tier ic (That's like Multiversal btw). And there is not shot Luffy is "Moon Level" as even with the somewhat limited knowledge in One Piece I have, even I know that Luffy isn't at that level. The strongest characters in One Piece are like Multi-continental at most. So a lot of these characters will be based off my own interpretation, using the wiki to a limited extent, and just what sounds right.

Next chapter will be her waking up full, her new powers being revealed, and some other

important stuff.
