Fortunately, for Ban and Eva, the new and improved Wrath allowed her Skills cooldown to reset the moment she activates it. 

They just used her Skills earlier and if not for that new function of Wrath, they would surely be in trouble as the Shiny Headed Rattlesnake are also known for their thick hide and tough defense. 

It was different from the Lord Grade Night Worm they faced before. The Night Worm does not have any strong defense and it only relies on its corrosive and poisonous mucus to attack its opponents. It has a soft body that was easy to wound even if they only used blunt attacks during that time. Compared to the Elite Grade Rattlesnake right now, the Night Worm could be considered as an easy opponent.

If they only used normal attacks, they would not even be able to wound it, much more ripped a piece of meat from it. It was a good addition that the Wrath enhanced all of Eva's skill. 

Using Ban's Twin Baton was also not an option either as even though it was a Quasi D- Master Rank weapon, it was a blunt weapon and not suitable for cutting. 

Using Bite was the only option and before spraying the wound with corroding fluid from her enhanced Fluid Release, Skill. 

The Shiny Headed Rattlesnake could no longer endure the pain it experienced as it opened its mouth widely just to hiss in pain. 

Seeing that, Ban immediately smiled underneath the Ant Mask as the situation could now basically be considered as half complete. 

He tossed the whip towards the mouth of the snake to try and grab its head down. 

Unfortunately, he was not very familiar with using a whip so it only ended up smashing on the cheek of the rattlesnake.

Ban was taken aback by that but fortunately, he managed to recover almost instantly. He did not waste any more time as he immediately tossed the whip towards the still hissing snake again.

This time, it fortunately landed where he wanted to. The gap between the Shiny Headed Rattlesnake's two sharp fangs.

After being combined, the whip had already become more flexible and longer than before. 

The moment it landed on the gap between its fangs, Ban immediately pulled it back forcefully, making the end of the whip coil around on the rattlesnake's lower fang. 

Seeing that, Ban could not help but exclaim with a smile surfacing underneath the Ant Mask again, "Gotcha!" 

This time, he did not fail to latch on its fangs. 

His muscles underneath the Noble Moth Cloak bulges all of a sudden as he gathers his strength. 

Boom!

Using his unusual strength, Ban smashed the snake's head towards the sands after pulling the whip down forcefully.

Seeing the successful attack, Eva also did not stay idle as she flew beside the head of the rattlesnake. 

Boom!

She punched its eyes with her two right arms forcefully. The rattlesnake's eyes started to water due to that attack. Unfortunately for the snake, Eva did not stop there as she delivered punch after punch towards its cheek. 

While the snake was busy becoming a punching bag, Ban was already working his way closer towards it while still holding it down in place to let Eva have an easier time punching it repeatedly.

The rattlesnake could only squirm around while receiving Eva's punches. Even though the punches did not manage to give the snake a grievous wound, it still did manage to hurt it, quite a lot. 

The Shiny Headed Rattlesnake's rattle on its tail was very important for it. The same way it was afraid of sand entering its mouth, it was also afraid of damaging the rattle on its tail.

While it was getting punished by Eva, Ban had already arrived near it. And without it noticing, he had already started wrapping the whip around its shiny head. 

It didn't take a long time for Ban to wrap the remaining length of the whip around the Shiny Headed Rattlesnake's head. 

Although it was slippery, the whip was still able to wrap it easily, especially since it was made from a Quasi D-Master Rank Beast called Rubber Snake. 

Ban was now standing atop the huge head of the rattlesnake. Eva was still punching its head but the intensity was no longer as fierce as before.

It could be seen that Eva had also started to get tired already. After all, she had been maintaining her combat form ever since earlier and she was now even at her Wrath state, which also demands a lot of energy from her. 

Even though she managed to replenish the loss energy earlier from the Boney Porcupines, it was not enough to make her energy bar full again

Fortunately, Ban had already finished his business. He held the whip with one arm as he stomped on the head of the snake strongly. 

He pulled the whip upwards, making the snake's mouth open widely. Although he did not know any tying techniques, Ban was still able to use some knots he learned from Marrio while tying the box of breads he always brought home. 

The snake was pinned down and it could only wiggle its tail gently. Even though it was already in a dangerous situation, it still does want its fragile rattle to get broken if it uses its tail to attack. 

Ban knew of that so he took advantage of that fact. He only pinned the head down and it was already comparable to pinning its whole body down. 

"Now!" Ban yelled towards Eva with the strange voice that was automatically produced by the Ant Mask. 

Even though was already a little tired from the multiple punches she threw, she still did not complain as she followed Ban's order. 

She immediately clasps her four hands together and her Royal Demon Ant Guard immediately pops out of a small portal. 

Eva's antenna twitched rapidly as she gave the Royal Guard an order..  The Royal Guard nodded its head and immediately worked with the task given to it.
