Eva also did not stay idle as she also helped her Royal Demon Ant Guard doing the work. 

The task was simple, they needed to fill the mouth of the Shiny Headed Rattlesnake's to the brim with the sand available around. 

As they could not damage and kill it with normal means, it was the best alternative that Ban was able to come up with. 

Choke it by filling its throat with a load of sand. 

The reason why the Shiny Headed Rattlesnake hates sand entering its mouth was actually because it's throat has a sticky and slimy substance it uses to swallow its prey whole. 

However, if sand managed to come in contact with that substance, it would immediately dry and become hard after a few moments. 

According to the author of Book of Techniques, 'All About Them!', if one could harvest that same substance over and over again, buildings would become less costly. 

The effect of the sticky and slimy substance combined with sands can after all, replace the costly cements used on the buildings. 

Unfortunately, that knowledge could not be used properly. For one thing, the Shiny Headed Rattlesnakes although were not considered rare, they also could not be labeled as common either. After all, they would become an Elite Grade E-Elite Rank Beast in full maturity, just like the rattlesnake they were fighting right now.

And of course, even if they did have that many population, the rich people who profit on the making of buildings would also not allow it. It would take their profit that came from the cements after all. 

They might allow small buildings to be built from a Monster's ability or from the parts of certains Beasts, but they would surely not allow a big construction project being made solely by Monsters or Beasts alone. At least, not without their permission. 

Anyways, Ban also did not plan on profiting with it anyway. He thought that it was so much hassle and it might even complicate more things if more bigshots started to notice him. 

Even though he was not afraid before, after learning that there existed a C-Grandmaster Rank Summoner in the city, he will no longer dare to act that way again. 

At least, he thought that he should just try to act discreetly as possible and befriend those bigshots one by one slowly. 

He heard a saying from one of the bullied Adventurers experience before. He was not able to defeat his bullies so he just joined them and waited for an opportunity to get stronger and make a comeback. In the end, he succeeded in taking revenge at the cost of his right arm. 

Ban wanted to use the same method against the bigshot of the city. Although they aren't his enemy right now, he thought that it's better to infiltrate and gain information about them sooner.

Eva and her Royal Demon Ant Guard worked together. Using a cloth provided by Ban from his Dimensional Storage, he ordered them fill up the open mouth of the rattlesnake. 

As they don't need to worry about the snake's counterattack because of Ban pinning it down, Eva and the Royal Guard concentrated on filling it up to the brim. 

The Shiny Headed Rattlesnake could only shake its rattle rapidly as if to protest about what they were doing. 

With Eva and the Royal Guard's swift actions, it did not take them more than two minutes to fill the snake's throat with sand. It could only bulge it's beaten eye as it tried to resist what they were doing. 

It became so desperate to escape that it even discarded its care for the rattle on its tail. It finally decided to use it against them but unfortunately, it was already too late for it. 

Ban twirled the whip to loosen its grip on the snake with one move.  He then jumped off at the top of the snake's head before landing smoothly beside Eva who already returned to her normal state as she unsummoned her Royal Guard 

Ban patted and stroked Eva's head lovingly like a father. He smiled at her underneath his Ant Mask as he said with the unreal voice produced by the Ant Mask, "Well done, Eva…" 

Grrr! Grrr! Grrr!

Eva replied with the same sound as usual. She put her four arms on her thorax while putting up her head towards Ban, almost like she was boasting that she was the best. 

Ban understood her intentions immediately and it even made him chuckle a bit. "Yeah, you're really the best." 

The moment they put the second batch of sand inside the mouth of the snake, the battle has already been decided. 

Now the only thing left was to watch the Shiny Headed Rattlesnake choke itself to death with the sand and the sticky substance going hard deep on its throat. 

It could no longer do anything other than ro squirm around. However, no matter what it does, it's fate has already been sealed. 

Ban smiled at that as he relaxed a little bit. The snake's ambush was really foolproof if not for Eva noticing it immediately. His heart almost popped out of his chest during that time when the snake's shiny head was just about to get them. 

Fortunately, they managed to act in time. 

He became careless again this time. He knew he was wrong, and he even said before that he would always be careful. 

Speaking of which, the reason why the situation ended this way was because a certain someone did not report anything to him.

He wanted to get angry but he also does not want to bother with it anymore. After all, he was just a hired adventurer and there was no need for them to help or warn him of possible danger. 

He thought that as he helped them escape during that time with the Sand Buffalo's they would also do the same thing in return. 

Alas, he could only shake his head in disappointment. 

He turned his head towards the location where he left them as he wanted to see their faces again.

However, what he saw was a transparent dome like barrier caging the two inside humans inside, and the two Monsters outside of it, trying to fight each other.
