Chapter 145: Danger?
Chapter 145: Danger?
As the goblins started to march towards the east, the sun gradually escaped from the grasp of the sky.
Of course, the darkness of the night has been spread all over.
However, it's not like the goblins would be affected by that, and that was why they were still running.
Although the sun has already gone back to its hiding place, the goblins were still not able to reach their destination.
That was how far the east...no, that was how slow the goblins were.
It seems that having normal goblins really affected their speed as even Dawn has not gotten to their destination.
One could tell how slow they were as Dawn hated wasting time now.
"Hmmm..." Dawn hummed as he propelled himself forward towards another tree.
Although he didn't want to rush his goblins, as there might be a chance that they would fight, the time they were wasting now was just too much.
That was why Dawn was having a hard time and was thinking of whether to rush them.
After all, even though they were running for half a day now, these goblins were not tired at all.
That was why Dawn knew that they would at least be able to put up a fight even if they were to run at Dawn's speed.
However, Dawn was not able to make a decision as even one of these goblins were precious enough for him.
It was then that Didi came up to Dawn as they were running.
It seems it was not a problem to change directions even though they were running as Didi was quite far away from Dawn.
Anyway, Didi spoke as he jumped off from a tree to another.
"King, what should we do if we can't find Moris?"
"He's the one who knows about the place, but if he's not here, then I'm afraid..."
"We will get lost."
As Moris was the one who knew things about those goblin tribes, he was the one who would also lead Dawn and the goblins.
However, things would change as Moris was not here right now.
He was out there scouting the goblins out in the name of the king.
That was why Moris could no longer guide them, and that was why Didi was scared about it.
After all, the chances of them being lost because they didn't have Moris near is high.
The forest was huge and large. It was not only the goblins who were existing here, and that was why things could get dangerous if they did get lost.
What's more, the numbers that they have right now is just worth a single, worthless village.
Things could get ugly right away if they even make a bad move.
"Hmm." Dawn hummed as he knew about what Didi was talking about.
After all, it's not like Dawn was not thinking things through when he ordered Moris.
Dawn calculated everything there is to calculate before he made a move to make Moris rush there.
And what Dawn's calculations arrived at was that it would be safe even if Moris were to go there.
After all, Moris was not here anymore. That was the fact that nobody could deny.
"We should be able to sense him even if he is quite far away."
"His presence is big, and if he is not hiding, then we should be able to find him."
"As long as we stay alert, things should flow smoothly from here."
Dawn said continuously as he kept his eyes sharp.
What Dawn said was right. The goblins would be able to sense a monster or someone just with their feet.
That was why it wouldn't be weird if the goblins here were to somehow feel Moris going back.
It wouldn't also be weird if either Dawn or Didi were to feel Moris coming back.
Besides, Moris' presence was big as he was a strong goblin. It surely wouldn't be hard to feel him as long as he is not hiding.
Right, that is only if Moris was not hiding. However, if Moris was hiding, then...
"But if he is hiding..."
"We might actually get lost."
Dawn said as he remembered that he couldn't even feel someone was watching him when Moris was observing him.
That only means one thing, and that was Moris was good in hiding.
Of course, that would also mean that Dawn would not be able to find or feel Moris right now.
After all, it's not like Moris became any weaker when he became Dawn's subordinate.
That was why Dawn was actually getting worried about this whole situation.
Things could get worse, and Dawn had no idea when or where.
"Stay alert. Tell Una to guide the goblins properly." Dawn said as he imagined that things could actually get rough from now on.
"Yes, king." Didi said as he slowed down so that he could say that to Una.
He didn't waste time as Dawn could feel Didi being near Una and the goblins now.
And while they were doing that, Dawn kept his eyes wide open.
He just stared at the front, where he could see the trees or the forest itself.
And he just did that for the whole journey as he stayed alert for things to come.
Of course, they were now near the east, where the goblin tribes were located.
And it was only a matter of time until they arrive at their destination.
****
And while the goblins were running to the east, the goblin who was assigned for scouting, Moris, was currently looking at something.
Although he arrived at this place for quite a while now, he still hasn't made any progress to going back.
After all, he already knew what was going on in here. He needed to report that to his king.
However, Moris had not done that even after hours had passed.
There was only one reason, and that was because of the thing he was looking at.
It was a human. And the place where they were at was the place where the goblin tribes were located.
That was why Moris knew that these guys were strong. Although he could feel it just from them moving around, Moris already knew the moment he laid his eyes on them.
Why? It was because the first thing he saw was the humans.
And that was weird as this place was the home base of the goblins.
The first thing that Moris should have seen was goblins, and yet, he saw humans.
That could only mean one thing. The humans have destroyed and wiped out the goblin tribes near here.
Well, Moris already knew that the goblin tribes were destroyed as soon as he saw the human wandering around.
That was why Moris had not tried going back to the side of his king.
After all, these humans could probably detect any disturbance going on in the forest, and they could probably feel Moris if he were to move right now.
The best bet that Moris thought of doing was to just stop here and pray to his king.
He would pray to his king so his king would be safe.
And while he was praying to his king for his king, Moris was just calmly looking at the humans.
After all, he was already here. Moris needed to produce results or get information about the humans so he would be forgiven.
Moris said that he only needed an hour, but he actually took a lot of time.
That in itself was a sin.
Anyway, Moris was just looking at the human who was here.
The human was quite tall and slim, but Moris knew better than to judge wrongly.
After all, Moris could feel that the man was at least as strong as him.
That was why Moris knew that he could fight it out against this tall and slim human.
However, the real reason why he hadn't even tried going back to his king is not that human.
It was the other human who was huge and large. The other human's physique didn't even look like a human!
What's more, Moris could feel the strength coming from that human!
It was just overwhelming! That was why Moris knew that he would get caught if he moved even a tiny bit.
That was why Moris just focused on looking at the humans. He was so focused that a little bit of Presence was used on his eyes.
It was then that one of the humans spoke. It was the tall and slim human.
"Boss! What are we gonna do about this? We wiped them clean, but we lost monsters."
That human said with a nonchalant voice. It seems he didn't really care about what happened.
However, it was weird since Moris could understand their language.
After all, the human just said that they wiped out the goblins.
However, Moris could not see even a drop of blood that could possibly come from a dead body of a goblin.
