Human King

Chapter 144: Goblin Tribes

Chapter 144: Goblin Tribes

"Speak that bullshit one more time, and I would make you as useless as possible."

Dawn said as he felt his anger soar in the sky. After all, it was really plain bullshit.

Dawn couldn't even begin to imagine why Moris even considered doing that.

Well, he could understand them, but it was just plain insanity.

Of course, Moris knew what Dawn was thinking as well.

And since Dawn already voiced out his opinion about this whole sacrificing thing, Moris could only shut up.

After all, Dawn didn't want it.

"Yes, Your Highness."

Moris spoke as he lowered his head.

It was then that Didi and Una and the goblins under them finally appeared from the forest.

Of course, they were guarding the surroundings so that no other monsters would interrupt the king from his meal.

Didi and Una then kneeled down right in front of Dawn.

"King, your orders?" Didi said.

Although they were out in a hunt, it's not like they would just kill any monsters crazily.

After all, this hunt was for Dawn to get stronger and to evolve once more.

They needed to get as many monsters as possible, and that was why this hunt was not the usual one.

And because this was not the usual hunt, Didi was actually lost for what to do.

Ever since the hunt started, he was only guarding the surroundings with his subordinates.

It was actually a waste of resources for them to be just standing around if one thinks about how they were needed back in the village.

Of course, it's not like what they did was useless.

It's more like they would do more work if they were in the village.

"Hmm. Is there a place where there are a lot of monsters, Moris?" Dawn said.

Although he was angry earlier, he was now not.

After all, they already settled the issue. They were not humans who would whine and whine about someone first before talking it out.

They were goblins. That was why Moris spoke without any hesitation.

"Hmmm...please let me think for a moment." Moris said.

As Moris was the most knowledgeable goblin in the village right now, Dawn was counting on him the most.

In fact, that was why Dawn didn't like the idea of sacrificing Moris for strength.

Well, Dawn just didn't like it.

Anyway, Moris was thinking hard about how he would answer his king's expectations.

Although Moris indeed had the most knowledge here, it's not like he knows everything about the forest.

There were many things that he didn't know, and that was why Moris was having a hard time.

After all, there is no way that goblins would try to know about the hideout of the monsters.

They would just instead look for one and destroy them. After all, there are many monsters in the forest even way before the start of the monster population increasing.

However, there was something that Moris was able to remember, and that was why he spoke.

"I think on the east, there are some goblin tribes that are hunting."

"And what about them?" Dawn said.

What Dawn wanted to hunt was monsters. Although goblins are indeed monsters, they were not for Dawn.

They were cute little green-skinned goblins, and they would be his subordinate soon.

After all, once Dawn starts to rev his engine up and conquer the forest, everything will become his.

Dawn didn't want to destroy much of his future property.

"The goblin tribes there have their own monster pot. They have a much better lifestyle, and it is because of that they are strong."

"And I believe that they have a lot of those monster pots."

"And since it is a lot, I think the king would be able to evolve from those alone."

"However, I am just not sure if that would be the case."

"Besides, there are also the dangers of them being hostile against us."

As Dawn didn't have the charm of the king, it was easy to guess what would happen if they just decided to go in there.

After all, the goblins not under him could be considered enemies.

However, it's not like they would stop just because of that.

Since there was a place that had a lot of monsters, there was only one thing they needed to do.

That was why Dawn spoke as he looked at Moris.

"Even if they might be hostile against us, you can shut them up, no?"

"Why do you think I brought you with me?"

As Moris is from the Five Great Clans and a strong goblin, he could probably shut a Strayman.

And those goblin tribes from the east are probably Strayman.

Moris alone could shut them up. And that was why Dawn was confident.

However, it seems that reality was different as Moris spoke.

"They are strong, Your Highness. They might be even stronger than your strongest goblin."

"Of course, including me."

"That is why I am not sure about things as this might become dangerous."

"We also don't have the necessary manpower to overpower their goblins."

As Dawn started the hunt with only 53 goblins, they didn't have the manpower to do a group battle.

Of course, if they got cornered with too many goblins or monsters, they would lose.

It was obvious. The only real reason why they were able to defeat that many monsters just now was because Moris and Dawn were strong.

However, even their strength would run out if monsters were to go at them no stop.

And if the goblin tribes in the east had the manpower and the strength to kill them, there's no telling how this hunt might turn out.

And it was then that Dawn spoke once more.

"Hmm. You got a point. We'll scout them out first before we decide to do anything."

"Those monster pots that you were talking about seems to be interesting and seems to be worth the trip, after all."

"We can't just have those monster pots to be left behind, shall we?"

Dawn said as he smiled. After all, Dawn could imagine just how many monsters those goblin tribes might have.

Dawn then turned around his body as he spoke, "Stand up. We'll go."

It was then that the goblins who were kneeling down stood up all at the same time.

After all, their king already gave them permission to stand up.

"Monster pots, huh. Interesting." Dawn said as he disappeared.

And the goblins who were staying here too disappeared as they tried hard to follow Dawn.

And these goblins' destination was at the east.

****

The goblins were currently jumping from a tree to another as they kept running.

Of course, their running was from a tree to a tree.

And while they were running, Dawn asked Moris.

"How far away are they exactly?"

As Dawn didn't know anything about these goblin tribes that Moris talked about, it was only a matter of course that Dawn would ask Moris about them.

Well, Dawn was just getting impatient as this traveling to the east seems to be a waste of time.

If possible, Dawn wanted him and his goblins to just teleport right beside the goblin tribes so they could scout them right away.

Of course, that was impossible.

"They are quite far away. With the speed that we are going, I think it would take us at least half a day."

As Dawn, Moris, and Didi were running with the normal goblins, they weren't running at their full speed.

They were running at a snail's pace just for the normal goblins to catch up with them.

After all, Dawn didn't want anything to be missed or anyone to be left behind.

A single goblin right now is as precious as Moris. That was why they adjusted their speed.

And with their speed right now, Moris could say that it would take them half a day to reach the east.

And it seems that Dawn didn't like that as his face turned conflicted.

"Half a day..."

Although half a day seems like a short time, it is actually not.

Well, for Dawn, at this point, every hour is as important as a day.

That was why Dawn was somehow regretting his decision to go to the east.

Well, it's not like Dawn could do anything at this point.

After all, if they were to turn back now, that would just waste their already spent efforts.

And that was why Dawn asked Moris.

"How much time do you need to be able to get there, running at your full speed?"

Of course, Moris spoke right away as he bowed his head.

"I would only need an hour, Your Highness."

It was then that Dawn made a decision and ordered Moris.

"Good. Go, and get there first. Scout them, and wait for us."

This move was to save time so that they wouldn't have to investigate once they get there.

Of course, Moris understands this as well as he answered.

"Yes, Your Highness."

Moris then disappeared as he ran at full speed.
