Day Ninety-One...

At the Arrival Lounge

Dave and Abigail sat together on the bench as they waited for Vincent and Monica. Little did they know, a group of men had been tailing them ever since they left Dave's apartment.

Abigail's phone beeped. She checked her phone, reading Jane's message. A few seconds later, she scanned her surroundings before standing up.

"Dave, I'm going to the comfort room," she informed him.

He nodded. "Sure, Sweety. Take your time. I've received Vincent's message—they're on their way here."

Abigail smiled before turning to leave. As she walked toward the restroom, three men followed her.

Just as she reached the door, someone suddenly grabbed her from behind, covering her mouth! Everything happened so fast that Abigail couldn't react.

Meanwhile, Vincent and Monica finally saw Dave sitting in the arrival lounge.

"Dave!" Vincent called out, waving at him.

Monica smiled inwardly when she didn't see Abigail. It seemed her men had completed the task.

Dave smiled back and approached them.

"Dave, this is my girlfriend, Helena—the one I mentioned," Vincent introduced Monica, who was currently in disguise as Helena Carlsen.

"Hello, Dave. It's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you," Monica said, extending her hand.

Dave shook her hand politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Miss Helena."

"Ahem. Vincent mentioned you brought your girlfriend with you. Where is she?" Monica asked, pretending to be excited to meet Abigail.

"Oh, yes. She's with me. She just went to the comfort room. She'll be back in a while."

Monica smirked as she discreetly sent a message to her underlings, seeking an update.

Dave invited them to sit while waiting for Abigail. He began asking about their trip. The three of them were having a casual conversation when someone called out to Dave.

Vincent and Monica turned toward the voice, only to be surprised to see Jane standing a few steps away.

"Sister-in-law!" Dave greeted Jane enthusiastically. "You're here."

Vincent and Monica exchanged uneasy glances. They hadn't expected to see Jane. The most shocking thing was Dave calling Jane his sister-in-law.

"Do you know her?" Monica asked Dave in disbelief.

"Yes. She's Abigail's sister. They reunited not long ago," Dave explained.

Vincent fell silent, his gaze lingering on Jane's face. Meanwhile, Monica looked displeased, clenching her teeth.

'Why is she here? Something's not right. Don't tell me she's been reborn too,' Monica thought, eyeing Jane suspiciously. 'Well, I don't care. My men are already on the move. I'll definitely give her a shocking gift!'

Jane's lips curled into a wide grin as she darted her gaze between Vincent and Monica. These two were responsible for her misery. In this lifetime, she wouldn't allow them to win.

"Sis, these are my friends, Vincent and Helena," Dave said, introducing them.

Jane's sharp gaze focused on Monica, her aura exuding an intimidating presence.

"Long time no see," Jane said meaningfully, leaving Vincent and Monica speechless.

'Did she recognize us? Did she regain her memory?' Vincent wondered.

Monica let out a soft chuckle. "Hey, Miss Jane, have we met before?" she asked, feigning ignorance. "You sound like you know us very well."

Vincent remained silent, unsure how to react if Jane had indeed regained her memories.

Jane maintained her composure, smiling. "Yes. I remember meeting you… four years ago. I almost didn't recognize you. Did you change your face?" Her voice dripped with mockery.

Monica narrowed her eyes, annoyed by Jane's words. 'Just you wait. You're so arrogant. Don't you know your sister's life is in my hands now? I can't wait for you to beg me. Let's see who'll end up crying and pleading.' She scowled at Jane.

"You might have mistaken me for someone else, Miss Jane. This is my first time meeting you. Am I right, babe?" Monica said, anchoring her arm around Vincent's waist. She couldn't understand why Vincent was unusually quiet. Was he shocked to encounter Jane so suddenly?

Vincent ignored Monica's words, his attention focused on Jane.

"Have you regained your memory?" he asked seriously.

Dave blinked in amusement. He hadn't expected that Jane and Vincent knew each other. 'What's going on here? Why do I feel tension between these three people?'

Jane's lips curled into a faint smile. Vincent hadn't changed. He was still the man who fell in love with her… but also the one who caused her misery.

He had used her to get revenge against Nathan, his half-brother. But the more he interacted with her, the more he developed feelings for her.

"Vincent, I'm here to warn you. Give up your revenge now, or else I won't spare you." Jane spoke bluntly, not wanting to beat around the bush. "I'm giving you one last chance to walk away and forget about your evil plan."

The three were stunned by Jane's frankness.

Vincent's expression wavered for a moment. Monica noticed and immediately squeezed his hand tightly.

"Don't let her affect you. I'm here to support you," Monica whispered, then glared at Jane.

'I knew it. She's been reborn too!' Monica confirmed her suspicion. 'I want to kill her now!'

"Dave, why don't you check on your girlfriend? She's been gone for too long," Monica said, smirking at Jane to gauge her reaction.

Jane frowned when Abigail's name was mentioned. "Where's my sister?" she asked Dave.

"She went to the restroom earlier."

Jane squinted at Monica, who was grinning smugly. Monica was provoking her, but Jane remained calm and composed.

"Go now and look for your sister. Who knows, she might have gotten lost," Monica said again, hinting at Jane. She wanted to scare her and wipe the smile off Jane's face immediately.

'I can't wait to see her worried look once she realizes that Abigail has gone missing,' Monica grinned triumphantly.

Jane didn't say a word. She just turned around, heading toward the nearest restroom. A smile crept on her face the moment she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure, standing a few meters away from her.

Black Rose approached her and whispered. "Everything is settled, Sis. Your sister is safe. We caught the three assailants. Mystique and Iron Lady brought them to the car. Abigail is with them."

Jane heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, she got a backup plan. "Thanks, Black Rose. Now, let's deal with those people."

Black Rose bobbed her head frantically, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yes, Sis. Let's do this!"
