What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 896 Some Monster Girls Are Stronger Than Others

The Trapping Arachnid immediately turned around and skittered back towards me, even climbing up the tower so that she was face to face with me.

"How did I do, my mate? Did you fall for me yet?!"

"Ah… You did well. That was a good fight," I complimented her.

"Then I want a reward! Give me one please!"

Err… Ok? I guess this might be what she wants…

I reached up my hand and patted her on the head.

That seemed to be the right answer because the Arachnid actually let out a happy squeal and she closed her eyes to lean into the head pat.

My eyes were then drawn to her wounds as it seemed like it was still burned off.

I turned towards the Off-Worlder on the opposite tower, "Umm… Can I heal her?"

Verdam paused and tapped his chin, "Hmm… Player interference huh… I should have thought of that… Perhaps I would need to revise the rules a little…"

He crossed his arms and went silent for about a minute before looking up again.

"Alright, let's do this then. Traine--- I mean… Err… The challengers like us can use our own magic or skills the same number of times as the Monster Girls that will be fighting. So in this case, it's five. How about that?"

"Is there a limit to what kind of spells or skills you can use?" I asked.

"Limit? Like what?"

"You know… Like reviving and stuff. Then could I also use my Shadow Summon spell to make it a two versus one? And if I were to possess an instant death magic or something, could I use that too?"

He paused again and thought about it once again.

He then raised a finger, "Ok, I need to go back and think about this more carefully before I decide… But for now, let's just decide that there should be no interference at all. So you can't heal her. But you can switch her out for another of your team members or choose to retire her from the fight voluntarily. Any Monster Girls you retire from the fight cannot be used again so you can heal her after retiring them."

Well… Fair enough then…

I turned back to the Trapping Arachnid who was still enjoying my head pats, "Umm… Do you want to continue fighting?"

She looked at me with half lidded eyes, "Hmmm~ Do I get a bigger reward if I do, my mate?"

"Err… No?" I answered truthfully.

"Hmm… Well I suppose my pride wouldn't allow me to voluntarily retire anyway so I shall continue."

She pulled back away from me and returned to the arena, balancing on her six remaining legs while her two front legs were crossed in front of her like she was folding her arms.

Despite her injuries, I have to say it made her look rather cool in that pose.

Verdam seemed satisfied with that and raised his hand once more.

"For my next Monster Girl… I call upon Ferna, the Cursed Sword!"

A circle of light once again appeared on his side of the arena and a curvaceous woman who was completely naked appeared.

Her black hair was long enough to touch the floor and looked almost like a shroud covering the back part of her body.

Unlike the Hellhound who had issued a challenge from the very start, she remained silent and her eyes were closed, making me think that she was asleep.

That was until she reached out her right hand and a blood red sword materialised in her grasp.

The moment her fingers wrapped around the sword handle, black tendrils shot out from the sword to cover her body in a goo-like substance, making it look like she was wearing some kind of goo armour.

Her eyes then opened, revealing blood red eyes and her lips curled up into a manic grin.

"Are you here to be cut?"

The Trapping Arachnid scoffed, "We'll see about that."

Both Monster Girls settled into a battle stance and Verdam once again announced the start of the battle.

"Slice her up now!" He ordered.

"Stop her movements! Don't let her get close!" I shouted at the same time.

The Trapping Arachnid raised her hands and…

Her head was slashed off.

The Cursed Sword had disappeared and reappeared behind her in an instant, flicking her sword to the side as though to get rid of the blood stains on it.

The headless corpse of the Arachnid wobbled on its remaining six legs before it toppled onto the ground, right before her head bounced on the floor nearby.

Damn… She really stood no chance huh…

The Cursed Sword then turned back and muttered a single word, "Weak."

She then strolled back to her side of the arena, not even giving the corpse a second glance.

Err… Hold on…

"Wait… She's not really dead is she?" I asked, pointing at her corpse.

Verdam chuckled, "Ahahaha! Yeah, she's actually dead. Perhaps I should have said that first but I didn't manage to find a way that would revive anyone who died in a certain area automatically or automatically eject them out once they receive a fatal blow. Anyway, I decided that this would make things more interesting so I kept this in."

"Wha… Wait, wait… You're saying she's actually, really dead?"

"Oh, I know what you're thinking. You don't need to worry, I can revive them all after the fight so there isn't any difference. I even tested it out myself. Memories can also be kept intact so they are the same person."

Err… Ok… Truth be told though, I was not expecting such a thing to happen right in front of me…

Then again, it's not like any of these Monster Girls are actually part of my harem anyway so I don't really care if they actually die or not.

What? You really think I will treat them on the same level as the other girls after just meeting them for less than a day? No way.

Light then appeared under the Arachnid's corpse and it disappeared without a trace.

Verdam nodded at me, "Choose your next challenger!"

I turned to look at the Monster Girls, "Do you girls still want to continue? You heard him, you might actually die."

The Lamia tilted her head, "That's normal isn't it? We're all part of the Dungeon so even if we die, we just go back to the Dungeon. That's why… To even know that we will be personally revived by Master is a great honour. Not as much honour as bringing you back to the nest to have some fun of course~"

I don't think that last part has any honour but ok…

Anyway, I already decided who will be the next one.

I pointed a finger at the Ifrit and she let out a yelp of joy before flying to the space in front of my tower.

I figured that she should be able to use the fact that she had flames around her to keep the Cursed Sword from doing the same thing she did to the Arachnid.

The Ifrit immediately flew into the arena and took her position in front of my tower without question, already settling herself into a battle stance.

Then, as if to match the Cursed Sword in front of her, she reached out her hand and created a sword made out of fire and held it defensively in front of her.

The Cursed Sword seemed to scoff at the fire sword as if trying to say that the sword she was holding was inferior to her.

"And now… Let the battle begin!" Verdam shouted.

Both Monster Girls tensed up as they awaited their orders to start the fight.

"Cut her down!"

"Defend!"

Both Verdam and I gave out our orders at the same time.

The figure of the Cursed Sword disappeared right before a metallic clang could be heard.

The Cursed Sword was now standing in front of the Ifrit, her blade blocked from cutting the Ifrit's neck by the fire sword.

The Ifrit shoved her back and tried to slash at her diagonally from above but the Cursed Sword simply spun out of the way to avoid it.

A fire blast from the Ifrit soon followed, but that was completely repelled by a sword swing from the Cursed Sword, the air pressure from the swing enough to blow it away.

The Ifrit wasn't amused by the fact that her fire was repelled so easily and shot out an even bigger blast at the Cursed Sword.

"Dodge it and attack!" Verdam shouted.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

The Cursed Sword's body glowed from the command and her figure disappeared.

"Protect yourself with fire!" I ordered.

The Ifrit immediately did as I asked and wrapped herself in flames, only for the fire around her neck area to suddenly dissipate before a sword sliced through her neck.

The Cursed Sword rematerialised a few feet away with her sword held in a slashing motion while the Ifrit remained still.

A few seconds passed and her head slid off her body, dropping onto the ground beside her feet.

Damn dude… Why is your Cursed Sword so OP?
