[Location: New York] [3rd POV]

After offering Hope her hand, the girl took it, causing Talia to smile as the two walked to the entrance/exit of the Tardis, and step out. The second they did, they noticed that they were in an alleyway, off the side of the main sidewalk. 'Perfect' Talia thought with a smile, happy with the location her Tardis was in.

"So where should we go? Or are you going to use magic to find them?" Hope asked, knowing that finding the shadowhunter is probably easier said than done. As they walked out of the alleyway, and into the main street, the two noticed that it was evening/night, considering the lack of sunlight.

"I don't think that'll be necessary" Talia said, as her senses began to flair. She could sense an influx of magic, rather dark magic at that. Not only that, she could discreetly smell blood, but only barely. "You already sense them, don't you?" Hope said with a raised eyebrow, knowing Talia enough that she knew when the girl knew something.

"Mmhmm, come on" Talia said, as she began to lead Hope to the location that she sensed the magic in.

After walking for a few minutes, the two came to their destination. It was an old alleyway, with nothing truly of note, besides a shaking girl, with blood covering her arms. "Isn't she..." "The girl that was possessed? Yeah" "Meaning..." "We'll be seeing them shortly" Talia ended, nodding at Hope's thought process.

The girl was probably the same age as them, roughly at least. Walking forward, the girl caught sight of the two "What happened? Who are you?" The delirious girl asked, an after affect of demonic possession.

"Just keep calm, alright?" Talia said, while Hope added "And don't look at your hands, okay?"

Before the girl could respond, Talia blinked as she heard a voice behind them "Step away from the girl" Hearing the voice, Talia breathed in, as she took in a scent, and she felt a connection, similar to the one she had with Hope, until she cemented her mating bond. Slowly the two turned, as Talia took a deeper breath at the sight of a gorgeous redhead girl, alongside a tall

man.

Clary Fairchild and Alec Lightwood

Hope blinked as she noticed the look Talia was giving Clary, realizing what that meant. Hope could also feel some sort of bond to the girl, just not one as deep and meaningful as her and Talia's. Her wolf instincts weren't screaming about her being a mate, but it was more like she was a...sister, or something of the sort.

"We don't mean any harm, Shadowhunters" Talia said, shaking off the feeling she got from Clary, and burying it deep down...for now.

"Really? Then why is the girl covered in blood?" Alec asked "Demonic possession, she's still delirious. We found her like this, and I'd rather not leave an innocent girl in an alleyway covered in blood" Talia said, pointing to the girl. Alec glanced, and noticed the signs, realizing that Talia was right, the girl had been possessed.

"And you can see us, why?" Clary asked, shaking off the strange feeling she got from Talia. "I'm a...warlock, and my girlfriend here, is a...Werewolf" Talia said, glancing at Hope, who had already spoken about which species she was going to use as her cover. The two blinked at the fact that they were together, and that they were a Warlock and Werewolf respectively. "And due to that, I could sense the magic that was coming from here, and it's the...less than good kind" Talia said, glancing at the girl who was shaking, as Clary had moved to calm her. "You could sense it?" Alec asked with a raised eyebrow, the fact that she could sense it, and seemingly from a ways away, showed that she was a skilled warlock.

"I can, while it's...faint right now, I'm sure if I get close enough, I can find and take care of whatever this thing is." Talia said, before continuing "We can help you, you know. I'm farely certain I'm the strongest Warlock in the city, and my girlfriend is probably the strongest Werewolf. With our help, finding the thing shouldn't be too difficult"

Clary glanced at Alec, having a mental conversation with the older Shadowhunter. Eventually, Alec came to a decision, deciding to trust his instinct, which was primarily telling him she was incredibly dangerous, but was also telling him to trust her. "Fine, but if you try anything, you'll be answering to the Clave"

The Clave was basically the main leaders of the Shadowhunters as a whole, a sort of political group that interprets the law, makes decisions, and all that. Basically, the politicians of the Shadowhunters, as well as some of the worst of the Shadowhunters. Technically all Shadowhunters are part of the Clave, but the ones that Alec was speaking about, was probably the higher ups, this being the Council, the Consul, and the Inquisitor.

The council was basically the main leaders of the Clave, with the Consul sort of like the president, while the Inquisitor was the one who primarily investigated Shadowhunters, and makes sure they don't break any of the laws set by the Clave. The inquisitor has other powers, but that was the main one that made them so important and powerful, politically at least. "Fine by me, and don't worry, had I wanted you dead, you woudn't have been able to approach us in the first place" Talia said waving off his concerns. Hope sighed at her girlfriends blunt response, while Alec had a feeling that Talia was not lying about that little fact. Clary on the other hand, was more focused on calming the young girl that they had found, that was obviously still a bit delirious.

After a while of calming the young girl, wiping her memories of the event, and cleaning the place up, Clary and Alec brought the duo to the New York Institute, where they were given temporary permission to stay, in order to aid them. Only after Alec had a talk with the current leader of the institute, Lydia Branwell, while Aldertree was away.

[Exterior]

[Interior, not all of it, of course]

Walking into the institute, Talia hummed at the sight of the interior "Smaller than I was expecting" Talia said, causing Hope to nod along, also expecting it to be a lot bigger than this. Alec rolled his eyes at their words, before a blond haired woman approached them.

"Is this them?" The blonde woman asked, causing Alec to nod. "I am Lydia, the current head of this institute until the official head is back. You two are?"

Talia at the question, blinked as she realized that Lucifer Morningstar did technically exist in this universe. '....this is about to be fun'

"Hope Mikaelson" Hope said, shaking the womans hand, while trying not to crack a smile, knowing that they were probably about to freak out at Talia's name.

Lydia nodded at the greeting with a small smile, before looking to Talia, who cracked a smile

at her, sighing inwardly.

"Talia...Talia Morningstar"

The second those words left her mouth, the two went pale faced as they recognized the last name. The last name of the strongest demon in hell, and the literal king of hell. The two didn't hesitate to bring out their seraph blades, while Talia outwardly sighed at the reaction.

"Why does this keep happening?" Talia groaned, while Hope giggled.

'Well...this is about to either be really annoying, or fun...probably annoying'

This chapter was originally going to be longer, but I decided to cut it short because...I'm

really tired right now. Next chapter should be longer...probably.
