Chapter 129: Chapter 127: A lot of Practice



[3rd POV]

After the trio had left the room, and had a short, and rather awkward talk with Cat, that mostly was about the existence of a new hero, who she wished to dub as "The Blur".

Talia had kept her word, and after a quick trip to the store, had whipped up pizza for the two, using Kara's kitchen for it. It was more like pizza's, as one singular pizza wasn't close to enough for the two, so she made several, using a bit of her power to make it easier on herself. At the moment the trio was in the DEO headquarters, alongside Winn who had joined them. Barry was flashing around the underground base, looking throughout the building, learning it's layout just in case he might need it in the future, all the while, Talia watched him.

Coming to a stop in front of the three, Barry had a smile on his face as he spoke "Yo, this place is amazing, alright?"

"Is this a spaceship?" Barry asked as he pointed at what was obviously spaceship, the one that took Kara to Earth, to be specific.

"That's actually my spaceship" Kara said with a small smile.

"I love this Earth" Barry said with a smile, finding this place cooler and cooler.

"Hey, Winn, can I get a picture with this bad boy?" Barry asked, wanting a souvenir for when he got back to his Earth, and nothing would be better than a picture of a real life spaceship.

"Oh, yeah, sure" Winn replied, not minding it.

"Awesome" Barry said with a grin, as he leaned against the spaceship with a smile.

"Might not be the best time for that" Talia said, noting the incoming agents who had their guns out, not knowing who this masked man was.

"Agreed. Is this that new blur that's been causing headlines? We have protocoles for this sort of thing, and you cannot just bring an unknown man here" J'onn said, as Alex stood next to him, alongside a few other agents holding weapons.

"He's here to help with Siobhan and her whole...situation. He's also sort of trapped here? It's hard to explain" Kara said, causing J'onn to raise an eyebrow, with Kara mouthing 'I'll explain in private'

"Fine, but one wrong step and he's getting locked up"

"I'll be good, promise" Barry said with a smile, only to knock over a large barrel next to him, causing the liquids inside to spill over the floor.

Grimacing, Barry asked "That wasn't important, was it?"

Sighing, J'onn replied "Yes, but it was getting thrown out either way. Now, what do we call you? The Blur, speedy, what?"

Pulling his mask off, Barry replied "Barry Allen"

"Hank Henshaw, and this is Alex Danvers" J'onn said, keeping his voer in front of the unknown man.

"I hope you're bringing more to the table than just your speed" J'onn added, causing Barry to reply with a smile.

"Well as it so happens, catching criminals is both my night and day job. I'm a CSI. By the way, do you guys have a crime lab here?" Barry asked.

"We've got my lab, but I don't see why you need to use it. Solaris here should have already found her, right?" Alex asked, causing Talia to crack a small smile.

"Seems you're learning, and yes, I've already found her. She was in some abandoned warehouse, which is totally cliche. She's being transported here at the moment" Talia replied, one of her shadowclones had been sent out to capture the woman.

"Aw, I wanted a superhero team up!" Kara said with a soft pout, causing Talia to chuckle.

"I'm sure we'll get one sooner or later. And if not, then you and I can team up whenever you like" Talia replied, causing Kara to flash a small smile.

"I'll take you up on that offer! Helping you out around the world sounds nice, better than doing nothing, at least" Kara replied. She liked the idea of working more and more with Talia, especially when it comes to helping more and more people.

"So...what now?" Barry asked on the side, realizing that Talia had already taken care of the issue that they initially talked about him helping with. He wanted to get back home, especially now that he knew the tachyon device worked, said device was created to not only make him faster, but also to help him defeat Zoom, a rather...annoying foe, his most dangerous one so far.

"How about we all have dinner, and then after that we can send you back home?" Talia said, causing Barry to turn to her in thought, before nodding, not minding the idea.

"Back home? Is he an alien?" Alex asked, as the agents walked off to get back to their different duties.

"Nope, metahuman. And you know how Talia isn't exactly from around here? He's similar, just not from beyond this...place, if you know what I mean" Kara replied, causing Alex and J'onn to look at her in surprise, before nodding, realizing what she meant now.

"I see now, it makes sense why you didn't tell us then. Do you need any help getting back?" J'onn asked Barry.

"Nope! T-Solaris here has already offered and I guess it's not that difficult, I just need one of them to combine their speed with mine, and that'll catapult me through the barrier back to my home" Barry responded, causing J'onn to nod in understanding.

"It's really that simple?" Alex said in surprise.

"Yes, but its impossible only because there's very little people out there that are fast enough to do it" Talia replied, as it was true. Even now, Barry was faster than most other speedsters already, as the speedsters of this multiverse were honestly quite pitiful in comparison to their comic counterparts.

"So...dinner?" Barry asked, causing Talia to chuckle.

"Yes, Barry, we can get dinner"

[Talia's apartment building, top floor]

"Wow, when you said Talia is wealthy, I didn't think it was like this" Barry said in surprise as they walked onto the top floor of the apartment complex.

"You're not commenting on the whole her having three other girlfriends, on top of me?" Kara asked.

"Not my place to comment on that. You love who you love, and as long as they're of age, not related, and isn't harming others, I see no reason to comment on it" Barry replied with a shrug, really not minding it. Considering he was in love with his adoptive sister, Iris, he couldn't really speak on weird relationships. Not to mention the fact that they're aliens, so it's different for them.

"Ah, you're here. I've already whipped up some food, go ahead and grab what you want" Talia said as her head came around the corner, only to go back into the kitchen, where the girls were

making their plates.

"So you're Barry Allen? I'm Isabelle, that's Hope, and the one who looks like a chipmunk is Clary" Isabelle said, shaking the mans hand as she pointed to Hope and Clary, the former giving him a small wave, while the latter blushed in embarrassment before swallowing the food and muttered a small "Hi".

"Nice to meet you guys" Barry replied with a smile.

"So, Barry, why'd you make a tachyon device?" Talia asked on the side, as she moved to sit down, with him sitting on a comfy chair.

"I needed to get faster, I've got a villain, his names Zoom. He's...fast, a lot faster than me, and I need the boost from that device to properly defeat him" Barry replied, causing Talia to

raise an eyebrow.

"Not a bad idea. But are you sure speed is what you need, and not outthinking him? Even the fastest people can't stop an ambush or trap, if they can't even see it. Plus there's other way's you can increase that speed of yours" Talia replied, causing Barry to look at her in interest.

"What sort of ways?"

"Make your form better, training your stamina and physical strength which would then improve your speed. Hell, you could even learn to use the other powers of the force, like stealing speed from other speedsters, speed learning, make contrstructs out of the energy, heal others, hell, you could even manipulate electromagnetism to a minor level. Time manipulation, creating energy copies of yourself, and a host of other abilities. Honestly Barry, if you really delved into those powers of yours, you'd learn that you have a lot more than just speed" Talia replied, causing Barry to go silent in thought. "Thanks Talia...I think I've got a lot to practice" Barry replied, realizing that there was much

more that he needed to learn.

"Now, let's eat!"

It's also the last chapter of Barry being on her Earth. Don't worry though, after the Superman

and Lois arc, she'll be going to his Earth during the Savitar events. She'll be doing some stuff there, and gaining quite a bit of powers.

Not sure how well this was written, as I'm pretty tired. As it was basically just a chapter of

Next chapter should be longer as it'll have quite a few events happening. It'll also be one of

the last chapters before the Superman and Lois arc.
