Chapter 102: Chapter 102: 4th Mate



[3rd POV] [Location: Noonan's, National City]

Gazing at her beautiful mate, Talia inwardly smiled happily. If there was anyone in the Arrowverse she wanted as a mate, it was the ever adorable, Kara Danvers. Plus, she was drop dead gorgeous, and powerful too.

Shaking herself out of her thoughts on her 4th little mate, Talia walked forward and grabbed her now finished coffee.

As she turned to walk, she blinked as she felt someone run into her. Causing the coffee in her hands to nearly glow flying. But, the coffee in the person who ran into her, did go flying.

"Oh my god! I'm so so so sorry!" A voice sounded out, causing Talia to blink and look down, inwardly smiling as she realized it was Kara. A blushing Kara who looked very embarrassed. "It's alright, I wasn't paying attention when I turned around" Talia said, smiling as she helped Kara to her feet. She noticed the confusion that Kara was trying to hide.

'Ah...she's a Kryptonian, so she probably isn't knocked over often' Talia thought, before realizing something else 'I've got two hearts....let's hope she doesn't use her x-ray vision' "No no no, I was the one who ran into you! I was um...distracted?" Kara said, as if she herself wasn't entirely sure how/why she ran into this unknown woman, who she definitely did not find super sexy, and impossibly attractive.

Chuckling, Talia responded "Yes well, I still feel bad. So, let me buy you another round of coffee to make up for the ones you spilt"

"You don't have to do that. Two of the coffees were for my boss anyways" Kara responded, only to blink as Talia walked to the counter.

"Could I get what she ordered?" Talia asked, causing the barista to nod.

Kara pouted slightly at being ignored.

"Ah sorry, you said some of these were for your boss? Must be a big shot to have someone getting coffee for them" Talia said, turning to Kara with a smile, but not before paying. "Oh-um, Miss Grant-Cat Grant, is my boss" Kara said, stumbling over her words slightly. Inwardly chastizing herself for stuttering so much, all because of this unknown woman.

"Cat Grant? Huh, so I guess you're her...assistant?" Talia asked, causing Kara to nod.

"Yep, personal assistant. Nothing big, I just take care of her coffee, food...a lot of things" Kara said, trailing off as she remembered all the things she'd need to prepare for the day.

Coughing, Kara continued "And what about you, what do you do for a living?"

"Ah, I don't work" Talia responded with a smile, causing Kara to blink.

"So I guess that makes you a big shot too, huh?" Kara asked, a small smirk forming on her

face.

"You could say that" Talia responded, a small mysterious smirk of her own appearing.

"Ma'am, your coffees are ready" The barista spoke, causing Kara to move and grab the coffee's.

"Um, thank you, really. And I'll make sure to pay you back for this!" Kara said, causing Talia to smile.

"No need to do that, love" Talia said, waving her off. Kara blushed at the word "Love" but shook it off as she noticed the time.

"Oh ra-god I'm going to be late! I'm sorry but I've got to go, but thank you again!" Kara said, as she ran off, coffee's in hand.

Watching her run off, Talia chuckled 'She doesn't even know my name. Good thing I slipped my number into her pocket-' Talia thought, as she too walked off.

[With a certain Blonde]

'Oh Rao she was ho- an alien! She was an alien!' Kara thought as she left the coffee shop.

'I was so focused on noticing her two hearts that I ran into her...' Kara thought with a sigh, as she had noticed her heartbeats. It was hard not to, when everyone else had a single one, and Talia's had been so...powerful.

'She didn't seem evil though...so I don't think Alex needs to know...' Kara decided, as she ran off to get to Catco. She knew better than to be late, when involving Cat Grant, and getting her her coffee.

As she reached into her pocket to use her phone, she blinked as she grabbed a small note and read it.

'Here's my number, cutie (:

Oh, and my name is Talia'

'How did she? I didn't even see her put it in my pocket' Kara thought, as she fought the blush down from being called cutie by the very attractive alien. She was several times the speed of sound (When not trying), and yet she didn't even see Talia. Causing a lot more questions to sprout in her mind about the mysterious alien.

'Well....I doubt I'll be seeing her again, so it shouldn't matter too much!' Kara decided, but still kept the note in her pocket, only in case she turned out to be evil of course! No other

reasons...

[Back with Talia]

"I'm home~" Talia called out with a sing song voice, as she walked into her top floor apartment.

"Did you get the coffee?" Hope asked as she peaked around the corner.

"Caramel Machiatto, extra caramel. White Mocha. And a Cappuccino" Talia said, holding out

the drinks. Smiling the girls walked forward and grabbed them.

"Something else happened, didn't it? We felt the bond change" Clary asked, causing Talia to smile.

"I found you three another sister" Talia said with a happy grin.

"It was totally Kara, wasn't it!" Isabelle said, causing Talia to chuckle, but nod.

"Knew it! You owe me ten bucks, Hope!" Isabelle said, causing Hope to huff but hand her a 10 dollar bill.

"You bet on this?" Talia asked with a raised eyebrow. Not entirely surprised with their antics.

"I bet Kara would be your mate. And Hope bet Lena would be your mate" Isabelle said, pocketing the bill with a smile.

Chuckling, Talia moved into the living room with the girls.

"So, how are you going to woo her?" Clary asked, sitting next to Isabelle. Talia in the middle

of the couch, Hope on her left, and Isabelle on her right.

"How hard is it to become a partial owner of a company?"

As said before, this volume will be a lot more like the first one. So more slice of life chapters, dates, romance, stuff like that. Going back to the roots with actual...substence lol.

Clary will be getting fleshed out a lot more during this time, as I want to really show her character off more. Kara will of course be getting fleshed out too, probably more than Clary.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Talia will probably become a "Hero" during this time, as will the girls. What names should

they get?

For Talia I was thinking "Tempest" as she won't be showing her full might while being a hero. A cliche name, but a good one for someone who's going to be using a lot of

electric/lightning based powers.
