Another nudged her friend, admiration and fascination plain on her face.

"He is so handsome, he is like the knight in shining armour," she whispered to her friend.

Her friend nodded absentmindedly, as her heart started beating louder than a drum.

"I wish I had someone to protect me like this," She muttered in a whisper.

"Did you say something?" Her friend asked.

"Huh? No." She quickly composed herself.

Noah didn't pause. "In fact," he said, giving the little girl a reassuring glance, "I'll not only give her a sample."

He raised his hand, gesturing to Jackson, "Bring me a small packet."

Jackson nodded immediately, slipping back inside.

Moments later, he returned, holding a small, elegantly wrapped bag.

The crowd murmured in delight, recognizing the bag, their gazes turning toward the girl with soft smiles.

"Wow, he is quite generous. This costs around $100, I remember hearing this from one of the other customers." a man said, as he looked at the packet.

Noah took the bag and approached the little girl, crouching down to her level, his expression gentle.

He held out the bag, and her small, little hands trembled as she took it.

"Here you go," he said, a warm smile lighting his face.

The girl's eyes welled up, a tear slipping free before she wiped it hastily, her cheeks flushed with gratitude.

A shy smile broke through. "Thank you, big brother."

Noah's voice softened. "No problem. Don't listen to that idiot, okay?" Enjoy new stories from empire

She nodded, clutching the bag tightly as if it held the world.

He patted her hand. "You're welcome to come and drink a free cup of tea whenever you like."

The crowd erupted in a murmur of approval, some clapping lightly, others nodding with pride.

An elderly woman, her eyes crinkling in approval, called out.

"What a fine family, they raised him right."

As the hum of voices filled with admiration, Noah straightened, turning his attention back to the man, whose face had grown pale under the crowd's glare.

"You're banned from this shop," Noah stated, his voice edged with finality. "Don't come back, or you'll regret it."

The man opened his mouth, but Noah raised a hand, silencing him instantly. "And don't even think of talking about her again."

Jackson and Jack stepped forward their size overpowering him, their stance threatening as they overshadowed the man, crossing their arms.

The man gulped, visibly shrinking under their presence, he finally turned on his heel, slinking away without another word, his head low and shoulders hunched, his tail between his legs.

As he disappeared into the crowd, people clapped and cheered softly, some giving Noah encouraging pats on the shoulder, others expressing their admiration with a smile or nod.

A young boy in the line beamed up at Noah, awe in his eyes, while his mother whispered,

"Good job."

"Mom, I want to be like him when I grow up," The boy said, as his eyes sparkled in admiration.

The boy went up to the girl who was around the same age as him and said.

"I will protect you like him in the future!" He said, with his hands on his chest.

The girl looked at him and looked at Noah.

"It's okay, I already like someone," She said, as she glanced at Noah.

The boy seemed heartbroken, but he quickly shook his head.

"I see, he is my hero and rival."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

He turned to Noah and said.

"I will take her from you!" As he pointed at him.

The crowd chuckled, including the mother of the little girl.

Noah just smiled and said.

"Alright, rival."

Amelia chuckled, as she watched the little show.

As the crowds dispersed, Jackson and Jack walked to Noah.

"Brother, we will be leaving now," Jackson said as he looked at Noah.

Noah nodded his head and said.

"Before you leave, come to the shop I need to give you some stuff."

They looked at each other in understanding and nodded.

Entering the shop, Noah headed inside the room where the machine was with Jackson and Jack.

He put his hands into his pockets and took out two gold bars.

"Here is two more gold bars," He said in a low tone, "Take one, and give the other to Lionel"

He placed one in a large tea box which contained around 1 kilogram of tea leaves, and placed the other one in another box.

"Here you go, give it out as planned." He said as he gave the two boxes to Jack and Jackson.

They nodded and said.

"Alright boss, thank you." Jackson nodded, as he left with Jack.

Going back to the main reception area of the teahouse, His parents, Amelia and Aiden were left.

He introduced Aiden to Amelia, albeit just on a surface level and vice versa.

They nodded to each other whilst respecting boundaries.

Aiden quickly said he needed to go because the atmosphere was a bit awkward for him.

Noah nodded and gave him a box of tea leaves.

The box contained around 100g of tea leaves.

Aiden tried to refuse as its value was too expensive, it was worth $1,000 after all. But Noah didn't listen to him and still placed it in his hands.

Sighing at his friend's action, he nodded.

"Alright then, I will just make sure that the video goes viral to compensate a little," He chuckled and left.

Noah, then looked at his dad David and said.

"Did you enjoy it?" He said with a smile, on his face.

"Enjoy it? I loved it!" He replied, "I've never had so much fun working!"

"I'm glad you did dad," he chuckled.

Caroline then looked at David and said.

"Honey, how much did you guys make?"

"A lot! I need to count it first," He said with a smile.

Noah glanced at the time and realised that he needed to pick up Emily.

"Dad, Mom. I will quickly go pick up Emily then come back okay?"

"Alright, son we will wait for you guys here," David nodded.
