Chapter 84 - Applying Medicine
An Luxia frowned when K suddenly froze and she walked over to him, looking into the hallway as her eyes widened, "Mo Han!"
Mo Han was walking towards them slowly in the hallway, brushing the corner of his lips with his finger. His hair was slightly messed up and there was blood on his hands as well as on the corner of his lips.
An Luxia could not tell if the blood belonged to him or from another person, but it pained her to see it. She immediately ran over to him, wrapping her arm around his elbow as she helped him walk out of the hallway.
He looked at her, raising one eyebrow with a slight smile, "Why do you seem so surprised?"
"Did you. . ." An Luxia furrowed her eyebrows together. No way. There were at least 15 people inside there and they were all muscular grown men. It couldn't be possible! How could he have possibly defeated all of these people alone?
Mo Han smiled and lifted his hand up, brushing his finger down An Luxia's nose sweetly, "You have to believe in your husband. Those people were no match for me, understand?"
An Luxia pursed her lips out, still unable to believe it. Was Mo Han some sort of monster or something? How could it be possible?
However, she still said, "Yes. . ."
An Luxia looked back down the hallway and couldn't hear or see anything, which made her wonder what had happened to the people inside the bar?
"Come on, let's go home." Mo Han grabbed onto her hand and together, they walked towards the car. Mo Han first opened the passenger's seat door for An Luxia before walking over to the driver's seat. An Luxia watched him, wondering if he had forgotten about K.
K watched his boss nervously as he opened the door for him. Mo Han glanced at him with a straight expression, saying two words to him, "Burn it."
K stepped away from the door and nodded, "Yes, sir."
Then, Mo Han entered the car and they drove away, leaving K in the cold wind alone. K watched as the car left before entering the bar once again.
Within a few hours, the words on all the news stations would be the mysterious burning of a bar at the edge of City A. The number of dead bodies inside was unknown.
Inside the car, An Luxia twiddled her thumbs awkwardly as she pressed her lips together guiltily. After a long time, Mo Han broke the silence, but it only made An Luxia more scared.
"What were you doing at a bar?"
An Luxia was quick to explain herself, "I went to go look for Li Yilan, and I followed her to this bar! I -" She suddenly lowered her voice as she looked down pitifully, "I'm sorry. . ."
Mo Han stopped the car in front of the red light, glancing at her to see her sulking with her lips pursed out, which made him smile, "Really?"
"I promise! I even got pictures of Li Yilan." An Luxia pulled out her phone, letting out a breath of relief to find that her phone could still turn on after being thrown onto the ground. She pulled up the images of Li Yilan and showed them to Mo Han, who didn't even bother looking at it.
"Next time, tell me wherever you go, okay? Or I should just go with you everywhere you go. This only happened because you refused to let me go with you. I am very mad."
An Luxia could obviously tell that Mo Han was not actually very mad like he claimed to be, but she indeed did something wrong, "I'm sorry, husband. I promise to always tell you where I am in the future!"
Mo Han was still not pleased, "You have to let me go with you to every unknown place."
An Luxia frowned slightly but now wasn't the time to disagree, "Yes sir!"
Mo Han's expression finally softened slightly as the car started moving again as the light turned green.
As they drove in silence again, An Luxia suddenly thought of something.
"Wait! But how did you know where I was? And why did you come?"
Mo Han took his right hand off the steering wheel, using it to hold onto her hand as he maneuvered the car using one hand, which was extremely sexy in An Luxia's eyes.
"Of course I have my ways to figure out where you are. You were gone for too long, so I went to go look for you."
An Luxia started to get a little suspicious of whether there was some tracking device in her phone, but when she thought about it. . . The bar was quite far away from Mo Han's house, which meant he had to have driven for at least 45 minutes to reach the bar.
So. . . he left the house about ten minutes after she had left?! She had only been gone for ten minutes!
"Mr. Mo, I was gone for too long? Is ten minutes too long?"
Mo Han cleared his throat awkwardly and didn't reply, which was enough of an answer for An Luxia. She shook her head with a faint smile as they continued to drive home.
---
After both of them had finished taking a shower, An Luxia had Mo Han sit on the bed so she could dry his hair for him as "payment" for causing trouble.
Of course, Mo Han did not complain as he was more than happy to have his wifey dry his hair for him. She crawled on her knees onto the bed behind Mo Han and opened up the hair dryer, running her fingers through his damp hair to get it dry before he laid down onto the bed.
But Mo Han wasn't going to make it easy for her! Halfway through the hair-drying session, he suddenly leaned back, resting his back against her stomach comfortably with his eyes closed.
An Luxia frowned, "Mo Han, can you sit up properly?"
"No."
"Fine, I'm not going to dry your hair then!"
Just as she turned off the hair dryer, Mo Han immediately began whining like a baby, "Ah, my wife doesn't love me anymore! I'm going to have to go to sleep with a wet head and then suffer from headaches and die!"
An Luxia couldn't bear watching Mo Han's horrible acting skills and she angrily crawled back, pushing Mo Han up and starting to dry his hair again.
Mo Han smiled proudly from his amazing acting skills and slowly leaned back against his wife again. An Luxia frowned and quickly finished drying his hair.
She put away the hair dryer and then pulled out the medical kit in the bottom of the cabinet, sitting down in front of Mo Han this time.
Mo Han watched her with a slight grin on his face, his hands and feet neatly folded together as he waited for her next step.
"Sit still." She commanded as she opened the medical kit and first pulled out a bandage for the scar on his hand.
Mo Han's smile widened, realizing that she was going to help attend to his injuries. Maybe he should thank her for going to the bar! She should go to the bar more often and get in trouble for him to save the day! This treatment was once in a lifetime!
He obediently stretched out his hand as An Luxia carefully stuck the bandage over his wound. She pressed it down smoothly, making sure there were no bumps before turning back around to get the medicine for the scars on his face.
Mo Han looked down at the small bandage with a faint smile, tapping it with his other hand as he patiently waited for An Luxia's "service".
She took a cotton swab and put the medicine on it, turning around carefully and moving onto her knees to reach Mo Han's face, "Close your lips and don't move."
Mo Han was like a little dog listening to his owner's instructions as he immediately closed his lips and stopped moving like a statue. An Luxia chuckled softly as she softly and carefully dabbed the medicine onto the corner of his lips, then turned around to retrieve more medicine for the other bruise on his forehead.
Mo Han watched her, deciding to not tell her that he got these tiny injuries often and never cared about it. They would heal by themselves within a few days, and he had never applied medicine onto small scars or bruises. But, he would never say no to his wife, especially in a situation like this!
In the future, whenever he got a small injury, he would have her treat him like this every time!
After a few minutes, An Luxia finally finished to Mo Han's disappointment, and she closed the medical kit, getting off the bed to go put it away.
However, before she could even get both legs off, Mo Han suddenly pulled her back, resting one hand onto the back of his head and leaning forward, having their lips meet each other in the air.
