"Sigh, I really want to, but, I have an important meeting tomorrow, the owner of the store is coming, phew," Aria muttered in disappointment.

"Ohh..." Chris averted his eyes, disappointed.

"That's a shame," Cathy sighed aswell, she knew Chris liked Aria a lot and also how much he was looking forward to take her on an outing.

"Brother, what is this Wealthtap app?" the melancholic sad mood was suddenly interrupted by Cassie's cutely confused voice.

She turned Chris's old phone towards him, pointing at an app with an icon of a bundle of dollars bunched up with red ribbon.

She tried to open it, but a sudden app lock popped up, prohibiting her from opening the app.

Chris was shocked by her eyes that were peering into his own, he turned to look at Cathy who was also confused and was looking at him for answers.

Chris didn't know what to do, he had already nade up his mind to hide the fact about the WealthTap System until he finds more solid information about the mysterious power he was suddenly bestowed upon.

"That... is not for you kids," he made the first bullshit excuse that came up his mind, and indeed, it worked like a charm.

"Tsk," Cathy gave him a side eye and pried his phone away from Cathy's small arms.

He knew that his excuse was really shameful, especially when his lover heard ut loud and clear.

Cassie might not have fully understood the meaning behind 'not for kids' but Cathy and Aria understood it as clear as day, and their reactions were really spectacular.

Cathy sighed while giving a sneaky glance at Aria, what was in her mind? Only she knows.

Aria however, was a little embarassed but didn't show any signs of disgust or repulsion, atleast that was a good thing.

"Anyways, you guys continue your chat, I got a little work to do," embarassed, Chris pulled his smartphone from Cassie's and Cathy's hands and then pushed them both towards the sofa.

The both phone's were on the transfer process now and were absolutely useless.

Chris suddenly remembered the pills he forgot to bring from the master bedroom, he looked over at sofa and saw that his sisters were again grilling Aria.

He got up and slowly headed to his bedroom, he opened his closet and came face to face with a hi-tech small vault.

Vault's small door opened as soon as Chris entered the unlock code he was given by Gerald, ofcourse he had already changed the pin after he signed the sale agreement.

In the small, cool vault, two round bead like balls were kept. Barely the size of a fingernail, they rested calmly on the matted flooring of safe.

Chris gently picked up the beads and brought them to light, coming face to face with the glass like beads that glittered in led light.

One was blue in colour and other was red, making Chris wonder if they were even edible.

'Wait... doesn't this look like the awakening pill?' Chris squinted his eyes, looking closely at the red coloured glossy bead.

He remembered once seeing a news about the infamous 'Awakening Pill' that was sold exclusively in B-Grade cities, and were known to be supplied from the secretive and mysterious A-Grade city!

"T-These are known to awaken the mana..." Chris mumbled his thoughts out loud, his eyes widened in disbelief.

'Yes! I can definitely get in C-Grade Uni this way!' everyone knew how famous and well-known the 'Awakened' were, if one even wished to overthrow a mayor of E-Grade city, no one would be able to stop them.

For Chris to become an awakened, it was like a dream come true for him. As the time was slowly passing, he was failing to understand the motive of the godly system and its powers.

At the first glance and from its name, anyone would expect it to be a money making system, however the more time Chris spent with it, the more he realised that reality wasn't as simple.

The system's core function and most missions were still targetting the money, however same couldn't be said about the rewards.

However, Chris pushed the matter back behind his head, where all the system related queries were still placed. He was too weak to seek answers about those.

"Awakening..." Chris gulped his saliva and stared at the glossy, glass-like awakening pill--or also called as the Strength Pill.

"I need to swallow it down," Chris remembered the article he read on Awakening pill and it said the pill must be swallowed and the boon it gives is instantaneous.

Trusting the higher sources the article was from, Chris opened his mouth wide and threw in the pill in his mouth.

He grabbed a water bottle and gulped down some big sips of water, to help in pill getting swallowed easily.

[ You have ingested the Strength Pill ]

[ Mana is being awakened... ]

[ Congratulations on becoming a C-Grade Awakener ]

[ Hidden Reward - 10X Boost, 30 Seconds ]

A vast amout of energy coursed through Chris's veins as he fell on his knees, his heart was like burning on fire, his cells working overdrive.

With an exhilarated grin on his face, Chris panted for breath as he tried to channel the immense energy within his body.

"WHAT HAPPENED, CHRIS?" Chris heard a muffled shout coming from the hall, his head was ringing as he suffered from a nasty headache.

"I... am fine," Chris shouted, putting some power in his legs, he rose to his feets again. He clenched his fists as he sensed an untapped power within his body.

He knew that was mana, he had learned about it in the government schools. Of course, a government school in E-Grade city didn't even teach a letter worth of knowledge, but, Chris atleast knew a little basics.

"Same procedure for the Charm Pill?" Chris asked rhetorically to no one in particular. He glanced at the blue-ish pill he had kept on the desk and was very tempted to eat it.

"Here goes nothing," Chris took a deep breath ajd swallowed the blue pill with some sips of water.

A cool feeling generated in his body, calming his nerves and filling his whole body with vitality he never had.

Some visible scars on his hands regenerated on its own, but, Chris's attention wasn't on that. He felt tingling sensation all over his body, as if thousands of ants were crawling on his body.

The open pores on his body closed, giving his skin an even glossier and unblemished appeal. The glow of his hazel eyes increased in intensity while his hairs got silkier.

Unbeknownst to Chris, his body hairs shedded on their own and his non existent muscles took shape.

Of course, his body didn't suddenly bulge, but rather his muscles were shaped like a piece of art.

"Haah, that feeling was dangerous, I could get addicted to it," Chris breathed a sigh of pleasure, the cool feeling bestowed by the Charm pill was divine, absolutely intoxicating.

Chris smiled to himself, feeling quite satisfied by the result of both pills, but while walking out of the room, his eyes suddenly fell on the mirror...
