The Time I Got Reincarnated As An Extra

Chapter 246 Date [5]

Amon was going to tease Amelia more as he stared at her face.

Even though she was shy and stuttering, she made no attempt to resist his proper hold now or even retreat.

It was soothing for him, this small hanging out of theirs.

It made him laugh more than he had done so in these few weeks and he was sure it was the same for Amelia.

Unfortunately, the young duo couldn't laugh for more as a familiar voice came from the side, startling Amon.

As he turned, he saw Elizabeth standing there with a confused look.

Just a few inches behind her was Ren, who was staring at Amon with relief rather than the group behind him as well, who also stared at him with confusion.

'Ah.' Amon suddenly remembered that they were also here for the shopping.

He had given them the promise to come later to join them but had forgotten about it ever since he met Amelia after coming out.

Running a glance through the group, Amon saw that Michael wasn't there.

Nevertheless, he shrugged internally. He had to deal with this group right now first.

Turning, he waved a hand to Elizabeth.

"Yo."

Her gaze trembled for a moment and he could have sworn he saw her eyes move to the hand from which he was just holding Amelia's hand.

But he didn't care and Elizabeth saw that as she quickly replied back to her greeting.

"Hey, didn't expect to see you here at the mall. So it was you."

Amon nodded nonchalantly.

"Yeah, I just arrived here an hour ago with Amelia here for some shopping." He gestured to the side to Amelia, who by now had composed herself.

Turning to Amelia, Amon momentarily saw an unfamiliar emotion flicker through Elizabeth's eyes, one that he had never seen in her eyes before.

But the silver-haired girl composed herself and bowed.

"Hello Ms.Amelia, it's nice to see you again."

Amelia returned her greeting with a smile and a nod.

"Likewise." She replied with one word, her cold and curt demeanor returning to her.

She might have replied differently to Amelia if it was just Amon, Ren and Elizabeth, but..

With other friends, she quickly reverted to her usual social persona.

Elizabeth turned back to Amon, seeing the bags of dresses in his hand.

"I was surprised to see you from afar since you told us that you would join us later if you ever came shopping." She said, reminding Amon of his words, an undercut challenge in her tone.

Amon had lied to them just to come here with someone else?

What kind of joke was this?

And Amon understood the misunderstanding, but he was currently in no mood to explain everything to the childish-acting girl in front of her.

They had just shopped Amelia's and clothes for other things and there were also many things to do.

Not to mention that this outing was currently going great as both of them were finally feeling free from their burdens.

But it just had to crash down.

Nevertheless, Amon wasn't going to back down from her words or try to make an excuse. That would just give Elizabeth more of a way to mock him.

He simply replied in a nonchalant manner, offering no explanation.

"Is that so?"

Elizabeth nodded, also not backing down.

"Yeah, did something happen?" She tried to dig in further to get something out of him.

But Amon quickly took this question to scrap it all down.

"Yeah, it's called "Change of Plans.""

Elizabeth's eyes widened momentarily, but she realized her loss and chose to let it go.

But even then, she wasn't about to let him get away harmlessly.

"Are you done with your shopping?" Elizabeth asked.

Amon offered a simple shake of his head.

"No, we have to get some other things as well." He said, looking at Elizabeth's face.

By now, it was just two of them talking as the group behind Elizabeth stood silently, watching their exchange.

It was clear that something was going on between the two.

The only two who seemed like they wanted to say something was Ren and Amelia, but both of them continuously controlled themself, knowing that it would just escalate the issue.

Listening to Amon's reply, however, Elizabeth's face lit up as she seized another opportunity.

"Oh, that's great! We were just about to start shopping as well, why don't you two join us?" She asked with a beaming smile.

But Amon knew better of that smile.

He didn't even get it. Was she jealous of Amelia? Why even?

Elizabeth was just being plain annoying to him right now, especially with her recent attitudes. She was him and acted distant as if he was a demon or killer or something.

Nevertheless, Amon saw that Amelia was going to try and say something.

But Amon quickly manipulated her blood a little to indicate her to stop.

Knowing how kind she was, she would probably consent to going to not create any more issues but.. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

This event was going great for both of them as the duo was laughing more and enjoying it more than in a long time.

And Amon wasn't going to let it ruin just because of this dramatic encounter.

It would turn into a bigger hellhole if they were in a group and Amelia might even grow uncomfortable with so many people.

He opened his mouth to retaliate but just as he was about to speak, Ren finally couldn't hold himself in anymore and came forward.

He looked like he had enough of this now.

"Nah, I'm afraid that I need to buy something from that shop right now and they have a limited sale for the festival that's about to run out, so we need to move there." He put a hand on Elizabeth's shoulder.

She turned back wide-eyed staring at Ren, but the latter was serious, showing no signs that would make it seem like he was joking.

"Y'all were shopping till now and I was standing now let me get what I want, come along quick or it'll die down. Let's do this hangout another time." He pulled Elizabeth.

The latter looked like she wanted to retaliate or resist but Ren gave her no chance.

And since the group behind them understood nothing, they followed Ren's lead along with Elizabeth as well, allowing him to go anywhere where he wanted to.

But as they were about to disappear, Amon saw Ren's face turn back, their eyes meeting.

A grateful look passed through Amon's eyes as he conveyed his eternal thanks to his brother.

He owed him a lot for this.

But Ren gave him a simple thumbs up coupled with a grin, asking if he was okay with his gaze.

Amon nodded, indicating that he was good and Ren gave him a final thumbs up before disappearing.

'I truly owe that guy a lot.'

[That kid is the GOAT.] Vain remarked from inside, almost making Amon burst into laughter.

Turning back to Amelia, he saw her with a worried look on her face.

"We could have gone with them though, there was no reason to deny it. You promised to go with them as well." She told him, trying to avert her eyes.

But Amon's face had a smile that brought her relief with the next words he said.

"Don't worry, they are just shopping as well, forget about it and let's focus back on the shopping. We still have a lot of things to get." He slightly patted her head and hair.

Amelia tried to forget it as he said and turned back with a smile, nodding her head.

"Alright, let's go get these things then we can eat before we get rest of the items." She showed him the list, getting closer to him to show it well and Amon nodded.

But just as she closed, Amon took the perfect moment to get his revenge as he leaned closer, his breath tickling her ear now.

His lips almost even brushing with her ears.

"And I'm sure you don't want to go with them as well." He whispered in her ear, causing Amelia to immediately squeal with shyness.

"Stoppp." She lightly tapped her fist at his chest as he laughed for the umpteenth that day along with her.
