Chapter 276 – “How long is Aunty Yan going to hibernate for?” (2)

The two children at home were perfectly fine taking care of themselves. By the time Zhou Qinhe walked inside, they have already bathed and dressed themselves. In fact, the two of them were straightening out each other’s collars!

Zhang Yuanjia and Zhou Yi no longer got up as early as they used to but, Zhou Qinhe was very pleased that the two of them, being just 5~6 years old, were able to get up on their own and get ready and get dressed without needed to be waken up by their parents. As much as Boss Zhou was someone who set the bar very high, he still felt that the two boys were very mature. Having a bad example at home, made Zhou Qinhe appreciation their effort that much more.

Walking inside of the room, Zhou Qinhe straightened out the two little boys’ collars in person.

Yan Shuyu felt that their current lives couldn’t be any better. Boss Zhou, on the other hand, felt a lot of inconvenience. He used to be somebody who did no work at home. It had barely been a month and he was already very familiar with dressing and undressing the children. In fact, he was very skilled with it by now.

Once he was done with them, Zhou Qinhe stood up, held their hands, and said, “Let’s go have breakfast. Yuanbao, Mommy is still sleeping. I’ll drop you off the musical institution on my way.”

He didn’t not mention the little male lead because he was already starting with his evil plan but that his son had tutors coming inhouse. There was no need to drop him off anywhere.

As such, neither one of the little boys thought too much about Zhou Qinhe dropping off Zhang Yuanjia. In fact, the two little boys exchanged a look and giggles when they heard that Yan Shuyu had refused to get up.

When he was done laughing, Zhang Yuanjia said seriously, “Mommy had been saying that she is going to hibernate for a few days now. I guess she is finally going to start today.”

The little male lead had always been respectful toward Yan Shuyu but, even so, he couldn’t help but asked, “How long is she going to hibernate for?”

Boss Zhou did not want to respond to that question so he finally said what was really on his mind, “Don’t learn from her.”

And that was probably as blunt as Boss Zhou had ever been.

Yan Shuyu, who said she was going to hibernate, was actually already awake. It was just so cold outside that she decided to play on her cellphone under the blanket.

The boss kept to his words and brought breakfast upstairs shortly thereafter – that was right, he brought it in person instead of having the domestic help did it.

By then, Yan Shuyu had already washed up and even finished applying her lotion. She was, after all, going to be a delicate stay-at-home girl.

When Zhou Qinhe placed the breakfast down on the end table, Yan Shuyu had already bounced over at him. Dangling from the boss familiarly, she was going to give him a peck. But he blocked her with his hand as soon as her head got close to him. With hesitation, he asked, “You haven’t washed up yet.”

Yan Shuyu had, indeed, already washed up. Yan Shuyu, who always thought of herself as a little fairy, was immediately annoyed by the boss’s resentfulness toward her. With both of her hands gripping the boss tightly, she was going to kiss him by force as she said, “Oh yeah? Take this!”

Unfortunately, she had just planted her kiss when the boss took the lead and kissed her back. Along with that, a pair of arms also wrapped around her waist, rendering her helpless immediately. By the time Yan Shuyu realized that she had been tricked by the boss again, her knees were already weak from the kiss. By the time the boss let go of her, she collapsed straight into the couch, sitting across from her steaming breakfast.

Yan Shuyu, who didn’t want to appear weak, decided to start eating her breakfast.
