It didn't take very long after that.

"ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!"

My minions rushed towards their adversary, tearing from my shadows as their fallen bodies rattled with bloodlusted excitement.

I felt them rage, I felt them soar, and most definitely…

… I felt in absolute control.

The flying wyverns swarmed the Whispering Treant, their echoing barks filling the massive expanse before me.

The enemy tried to resist, of course, but the three minions on the ground—the Dark Demon Trees—interfered enough with its plant-based abilities, making most of them obsolete.

Besides, aerial assault gave my team a major advantage. Compared to the bulky frame of the Treant, my wyverns were much more agile.

The only challenge they faced was dealing a definite attack on the Treant. However, with the dragon present, this problem became easily solved.

With all my minione coordinating an assault on the helpless Treant, I could only watch in glee.

The way they tore into its wooden form, ripping it to pieces, brought me such satisfation.

'That's what you get for disturbing my sleep.' My thoughts echoed.

And so, with the devastating one-sided battle I was having, I patiently waited for the Treant's seemingly infinite health to deplete.

Sure, it had healing and immense vitality, not to mention its impressive defense.

However, It was only a matter of time…

"I'll win."

"ROOOOOOAAARRRRGHHHHH!!!"

The final echo of the Treant's screech coursed through the air and rattled my bones. It had struggled as much as it culd, but it was now at the end of its life.

"Let me ease your pain…" I whispered, drawing my blade.

No. I didn't mean my Wyvern Blade.

… I meant the other one.

The Dragon Dagger.

Short and sharp, having a twisted handle, and a slightly curved form, the Dragon Dagger oozed even more power than even my Wyvern Blade.

Considering the fact that I made it with the Dragon materieals, that much was a given.

Not only did it have great Energy conductivity, it had the additional status effect of <Bleed> and had high chances of <Critical Strike>. All in all, its stats also exceeded the Wyvern Blade.

It was a fitting weapon to use against my first Floor Boss.

"I'll make it quick."

~VWUSH!~

Expertly brandishing my dagger, I teleported right above my target, twisting my body to form something akin to a vortex.

Improving thr weight behind the blade, whils spinning to grant me more momentum, I descended to the battered Treant, grinning fearlessly despite its clearly contrasting features.

It hadn't even been 24 hours yet, but I could say without a doubt that I had grown tired of it.

~SWISH!~

In one swift slice… the job was done.

~BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!~

The Whispering Treant's body ruptured, shattered to pieces due to the multiple slashes locked within my single blow.

With that, the First Floor was now cleared.

"Alright! It has drops." I smiled, watching the remains of the Whispering Treant forming items for me.

I got the Essence, sure, but I also recieved other things.

~Hardened Wood Blade~

~Skill: <Healing> has evolved into <Rapid Regeneration>~

~Skill: <Maddening Whispers> has been given~

With all of these as rewards for beating the Whispering Treant, I could feel my good fortune going in the right direction.

I didn't Level Up at all, though.

'It's not all too bad if I consider the perks, but I guess it's still fine.'

I still won.

At this point, even if I was aleady expecting it, a loud ping echoed in my ears, causing me to wince a little.

~DING!~

'No duh…' I smiled to myself as I stared at the System Window before me.

I was getting impatient to see the good stuff.

'Top 5, huh?' I rubbed my chin as I considered those who could have scored higher than me.

There weren't many Rankers I knew, and since I had already eliminated three, more were bound to replace them.

It was possible that their unique skillsets allowed them to Clear this floor earlier than I did, so it wasn't too surprising.

I already knew Lucy Fer was going to be ahead of me, and as much as it pained me to admit it, Francis as well.

'I also havent't forgotten that Caleb guy who was at first place in the Leaderboards back then. He probably cleared the Floor quickly as well…'

That left the final person who scored above me.

I had no idea who it would be, but it still made me wary. There were more skilled people out there than me.

It was frustrating, but that was reality.

'Other than Lucy, I have no good relationship with any of them. I'll have to be cautious going forwaard.'

In any case, it was better to look on the bright side right now and focus on my rewards rather than the grim stuff.

I was worried I didn't Level up, but now I was Level 70. Plus, I just calculated the Currency I recieved, and it was a whooping 20,000 C!

'I don't think I've ever had that much before!'

It was crazy how being proactive in the Floors went a long way.

'I wonder what would have happened if I cleared the Floor earlier? Would I have gotten even more rewards?' I couldn't help but think.

Not only had I gotten Currency, but Skills and Titles as well.

This was indeed a big haul.

I was still recoiling from the satisfaction I got from getting so many rewards when the System showed me this.

'Hmm… I wonder…'

The safest bet was to leave immediately, since Francis was most likely out, and the Lyma Capital was most likely vulnerable with me still here.

I thought of Theo and Drius, and I weighed their safety with the reason why I didn't want to leave just yet.

'I'm tired…'

Even if I returned to the city in my current condition, I would be too tired to do much. I could even die in the process.

Now that all the excitement of battle had faded away… I was already at my limit.
