Chapter 253 – WHY WOULD YOU KEEP THAT AWAY FROM ME?

Kian, after successfully settling the deal with the Seikh, he came out and Thea followed him. Nathan was behind.

"I heard you are taking a leave from next month, why?"

She asked. He had just gotten back from God know where and was leaving once again.

"My wife and I are expecting."

He answered, very proudly. Although, Thea could not understand what it was for real. She just waited for him to complete. It also got Nathan's attention that he strode forward, holding his glass of champagne, even though Kian and Thea did not notice.

Nathan last saw or heard anything about Tinsley that day during the accident and when he comforted her but that was all.

He still did remember though how disturbed and scared she looked. His feelings for her were still the same and he could not get over it.

He was aware of the fact that she was a married woman but the fact that she had left him did not go unheard by him.

He had heard it from Thea's gossips with Mrs William, Valeria when they threw a Christmas party in the William mansion.

Kian was not there. It was during those times when he was furiously working for his company to make it come to the bullion dollar market from being in the multi-million clubs for a few months then.

He had not heard about it but when he did that Tinsley had left him…he was taken aback too.

And he would not lie and say, he did not see that as an opportunity to take it and warm inside Tinsley's heart. But he could not find her.

Everything was so short and hidden. And then a month later, Kian went missing.

And then he returned with very unexpecting news. And at that moment, he was standing right behind them, his ears straight and open, ready to hear anything they would say.

"You are expecting what?"

Thea questioned once again. She did not get him in the first place. She wanted him to be clear.

"We are pregnant!"

And then and there, Kian had dropped the bomb, blowing off not just Thea but Nathan at the same time.

For Thea, she had no words…she was rendered speechless. Her chances…any of it if were there to be with him someday…the only man, she had ever loved, had become negligible.

Because after how Tinsley had left him, what Valeria had told her, there was hope for her…and now with the current announcement, everything was ruined for good.

And same was for Nathan, he almost choked in his champagne. He could not believe his ears.

"She is due next month so I will take my paternity leave to be by the side of my wife and our baby girl."

Kian further stated. He somehow felt this very warm feeling for talking to someone else about this stuff. He felt proud.

"Baby girl?"

Thea could not believe it. How? When? Where? What in the freaking world???

"Yes…we are going to call her, Ava… it's the name Tinsley liked so much…she started calling her Ava from the day one we got to know it's a girl!"

Kian explained and what he did not know was, all these details were only hurting Thea bit by bit.

"Wow!! You guys are having a child for real this time?"

That all that came out of her mouth first after being silent for more than a minute or two. Because she could not process all that he had said in one go.

"Yes…I m officially going to be a father!"

Kian declared, being as proud he had even been in his life. And that was something, Thea could never withhold.

So after congratulating him, she just disappeared out of there. She could not stay there even for another second or else she would burst out of suffocation.

Were not they were over??

That was what Valeria had told her. She had informed her of how Kian and Tinsley were over for good and here they were having their first child together.

So she was flying back to Richmond. It took eight hours or more. Not taking any rest, she ordered her driver to drive in the direction of the Willson mansion.

And when she had finally reached her destination, she did not wait for the doorman to take her inside. She went herself in.

"Valeria?? Valeria!!"

She screamed out. She was so angry and hurt and felt betrayed for being lied to.

Why show her false hope when there was never a hope??….not even a dime of it!!

After a while, Valeria came climbing down the stairs and saw Thea Stilton. It had been a few months for them since they had met last time.

"Look who is here!"

Valeria chimed. With her old days and ailing body, she would get so few visitors and under the doctor's prescription, she ought to have only rest and not much talk. She got bored.

"Stop the nonsense!!"

Thea spat and Valeria was taken aback by her behaviour. She could tell that something was up.

And now, in her weak heart, she could tell that this news was going to affect her too.

Her nephew had not contacted her since last month and she had not bothered him much thinking he was busy working after he had cared for her since the beginning of the treatment.

"What is it?"

She straightforwardly asked, not cutting around bushes. Thea gave her an unbelievable look.

"Why did you not tell me that your nephew and his fucking wife are expecting, for Christ sake!!!"

Thea spat. The very thought of it was making her crazy. Valeria did not know what to say or what not to say.

"What do you mean??"

"They are having their first child in a month…in a MONTH!!! And you decided to keep that away from me…??? Why???"

Thea yelled and it was a huge blow to Valeria. She was so much shocked that she had forgotten to breathe until she heard that the child was due in a month…

"I had thought….fuck!!! It does not even matter now anymore…does it??"

Thea mockingly asked and sat down on the nearby sofa, defeated. For the first time, she felt like she was not going to get that one thing…one man she ever liked so much when all her life, she was used to getting what she ever wanted.

"I did not…I had no idea until now…that my nephew had impregnated that woman again…"

Valeria let out, cluelessly. When she had thought that this chapter was over for good only to find that it only gotten more deeper.

She remembered Tinsley saying how she had lost two pregnancies and how she had blamed it on her….and here she was pregnant again.

This time, it would be so hard separating them for with the baby in the equation, there was no way, Kian would ever leave her…or even if he did, with the child, they would both share, they would be connected to each other forever.

And it was something Valeria never wanted. Now she could tell and understand why Kian had gone missing.

He had found her after more than six months of trying to find her. And when he did find her, he did not bother letting his aunt know, because he knew she would never be happy about it.

And how oh how!!! Tinsley had to be pregnant before she decided to leave him behind only for him to find her and to never part ways again.
