Supreme Couple In Apocalypse: Undead King & Demonic Queen

Deep within the Langriss Woodlands was a big neutral town.

It was for hunters of various who went into Langriss Woodlands for hunting and resources they needed or wanted for multiple reasons.

Lilith's Airship passed that town as the group didn't intend to stop there.

Their goal was Elven territories, but there was a particular requirement one had to meet to enter there.

After an hour of traveling through the woodlands and another half an hour to reach the border and entry of Elven territory, Lilith stopped her ship.

Before them was a massive wooden gate glowing magically, and not even a few seconds passed before twenty elves arrived from all directions and surrounded them.

Three of them were Empyrean-order, and the rest were Royal-order powerhouses!

A handsome elf man with long and creamy light blond hair approached the front of the Airship as he faced Lilith.

"What is your purpose for coming here?"

Rin and Erix finally opened their eyes as Lily sent them a message.

They had made roughly 20% of progress towards forming their Arcane Spirit Pool.

Seeing elves surrounding them and a huge magical wooden gate before them, the duo understood that they'd arrived at their destination.

"We are here to use Spiritual Nature Pools and acquire exclusive resources of your territories," Lilith answered with a smile.

It was not uncommon for people to enter the Elven territories to use their unique power spot and acquire resources, but Elves had strict and rightful policies for that.

"If you know why you are here, then you should know the conditions," the Empyrean-order elf said with a nod and gestured at the gate.

"Pass through the gate and prove yourself."

After saying that, all the elves flew behind the gate while two more Empyrean-order elves arrived, bringing a bunch of Royal-order elves and grouped them up behind the gate.

Moreover, there were also tall wooden towers at various spots equipped with cannon-like weapons made of exquisite redwood with magical patterns on them.

This territory was tightly secured and saturated with the peak power of the Kaalanx Abyss.

No power in the whole of the Kaalanx Abyss would be able to invade them.

Naturally, there were exclusive territories of other races at various places as well, like dwarves, demons, angels, and such, with all of them tightly secured and saturated with a maximum limit of powers.

They preferred their suitable habitat, just like how elves liked these Langriss Woodlands, which enriched their comfort, power, and bloodline.

Since nobody above the Empyrean-order was allowed to stay in the five Abyss worlds, there was no power struggle for top territories occupied by various races.

However, there were internal power struggles occasionally.

"Get ready," Lilith said as she snapped her finger and put away her flying ship.

"I heard this place is also called Paradise," Maleina said. "They have a huge entertainment district inside for people to enjoy and have fun."

"Yep," Lilith nodded. "They have three gates and three entries into their territories. This is one of them. The other two are to the other sides of their borders, which directly leads into their territories from a bit deeper into the core domain."

Lilith turned around to face the gate afterward and said, "We'll enter one by one. I'll go first and Reinala last. The rest between us."

"The gate is somewhat magical, and it's a test, but we'll easily pass," Lilith added.

"Alright," Erix nodded.

Lilith flew towards the gate and passed through it without causing any change in the aura of the gate.

Upon seeing that, the Empyrean-order elf that stood ahead of the rest nodded with a smile, "Welcome to the Langriss Kingdom of Elves. You can call me Elvis. I am the 3rd guard leader of the kingdom in charge of this gate."

Lilith nodded as a greeting before turning around to see Rin flying next and passing the through gate without changing its color.

"Do you see those two women behind?" Lilith said as she struck up a conversation with Elvis while looking ahead as Erix flew inside next.

Elvis nodded. "What about them?"

"They are our slaves," Lilith said. "If they have bad intentions regarding you elves, you can kill them."

Rin was surprised as she heard that, but it made sense. It was not worth risking their lives.

'Is it about the test you said?' Rin asked as she floated beside Lilith.

'Yep.'

"Alright," Elvis answered with a nod. "It's good that you clarified beforehand."

Erix also arrived soon and stood beside Rin.

Upon hearing Elvis's words, he was confused, but Rin soon filled him up on what Lilith said via spiritual thought.

Lily flew inside next and floated with the group.

Maleina flew into the gate next and also successfully passed without causing any changes to the gate's aura.

Afterward, it was Reinala's turn.

'I've eaten elves and some elves babies too…It will not affect the gate's silly test, right?' Reinala thought as she had heard about Elf's test.

'Meh, it won't,' Reinala flew towards the gate. 'I am also full and hadn't gotten sucked dry yet, hehe.'

However, the aura around the gate suddenly turned red right as she passed through it.

'Tsk, I knew it,' Lilith clicked on her tongue as her thoughts went to Rin, Erix, and Lily.

'That magical gate is not just for show, and they are also standing there to kill us, not welcome us.'

'What does it do?' Rin curiously asked.

'Sense our intentions,' Lily answered.

'Yep,' Lilith nodded. 'That magical gate will sense our intentions and subconsciousness to gauge our purpose for coming here.'

'If people with bad intentions regarding them enter that gate, the glow around the wooden gate will immediately turn red, and they will attack us.'

'If it stays green, then it's fine. We will be allowed to enter their territories and enjoy the benefits,' Lilith smiled, 'Of course, by paying for them. Nothing is free inside as well.'

'Unfortunately for Reinala, Her journey with us has ended. I swear she was thinking about eating elves in her subconsciousness,' Lilith snorted.

'It's fine. It was time,' Erix plainly said.

"Attack!"

Elvis shouted with a dark expression as he looked at the red aura of the gate.

Reinala was shocked, and her gaze immediately went to Lilith. She cursed inwardly before turning around and escaping as a pair of draconian wings unfurled.

Alas, the thirty Royal-order powerhouses that shot towards her with colorful lights and weapons in their hands chased her.

"They will handle her," Elvis said, politely smiling at the group.

"Please go in and enjoy your stay. I hope you all have a good time within our kingdom."
