The deputy patriarchs who were pushing for the establishment of the Holy Land felt that it would greatly increase their control of resources in the Jiao Continent and thus their authority over it. It was especially so for the World Origin Source connected to the Jiao Continent. In the future, they could even push for the Holy Land to become an Elysium, increasing the number of True Immortals the Tongyou Institution could possess.

With the current state of the Tongyou Institution, they were more than capable of developing another Holy Land.
