Solo Player Arvin

Arvin didn't want to confront any animals right now. Because it would be a waste of time as well as he didn't want to get injured. Previously whenever he would get injured the mana that he had would start healing him. But now as he is not able to control the mana he didn't know that if he got injured then the mana in his body would heal him or not…

Arvin figured that once this animal goes away, he would come down from the tree. So, he starting watching the animal closely. That animal seemed confused. But the next thing you know, the animal started growling slowly...

GRR….GRR…GRR

Arvin's heart stopped as he thought that the animal had smelled him. He had to make a run for it. But before that, he should confirm that he had smelled him or not. So Arvin watched him closely. Still slowly growling, the animal lifted his tail a little bit and shot out a black poop out of his butt. Seeing this Arvin sighed with relief.

But then the dog started growling again, but this time Arvin didn't mind him. But this time instead of poop out of the butt, the animal produced a wave from his body. That wave passed through Arvin. As it passed through, the animal started looking at the branch at which Arvin was hiding. Then the animal opened its mouth showing its teeth, his growl became more ferocious than before.

Before Arvin could know it, the animal opened its mouth and a small blue sphere started forming in its mouth. And before he knows it, the animal shot that sphere towards Arvin.

As soon as Arvin saw the blue sphere-forming in the mouth of the animal in front of him, a chill ran down his spine. He felt like someone was pointing a bazooka at him. Arvin abruptly jumps down from the tree. Then that animal shot the blue sphere at the branch. Arvin was very lucky as he was saved by the sphere by a hair's breadth. When the sphere landed on the branch of the tree, it exploded the brach in pieces…

Arvin then started running in a random direction away from the dog. He kept running and running. He couldn't any growl or anything behind him but he didn't have the heart to stop. A dog-like creature had just shot a blue sphere at him which had the power of a small explosive. That fact alone was able to send fear in his mind.

He kept running, but while running he heard something to his right side. Arvin looked and saw that same dog-like creature was running a few meters away at his right side. Then he heard something to his left side. He saw another one of that dog-like creature running a few meters away on his left side.

Seeing two of the creature just with him, he came to a realization. Those creatures had the speed from which they could easily catch up to him. But they are running by his side. Means they are toying with him. That was the most logical explanation he could think of from the actions of those dogs like creatures.

As Arvin was thinking this, the dog from the left suddenly lunged at him. The dog didn't claw him or tried to bite him. It just pushed Arvin so that he would lose his balance and fall down. And that did happen.

Arvin wasn't able to react in time when the dog lunged at him and as a result, he falls down. As Arvin fell down, the dogs following him formed a formation around Arvin so that he could not run away. From the formation, Arvin was able to discern that there were 4 dogs that were hunting him.

Helpless, Arvin took out his ax.

  This was it. Arvin understood that he had to fight now and there is no other option left. On the other hand, those dogs started circling him. There Arvin stood in his fighting stance while the dogs circled him. Arvin's heart was beating faster and faster.

'This couldn't get any worse…' as Arvin was thinking a slight noise of branch craking. He ignored that and concentrated on the dogs. But soon he was distracted by slime stuff that fell on his torso from above. Sensing something wrong, Arvin looked up, and there he saw…

Two black panther-like animals were sitting on the branches of the tree that was located above Arvin and those dogs. The slimy substance was the saliva that came from one of those panther's drools…

Seeing them Arvin's mind was blown away. Those dogs circling Arvin didn't have any idea about the situation they were in. But seeing that Arvin was distracted, one of them lunged at him. But Arvin's reaction speed was faster, he sidestepped and cut jabbed the ax in that animal's skull. Without his magic, the ax was not sharp enough to pierce through that animal's skull. So Arvin was only able to wound that dog.

Till then the panthers also got interested in the little farce. One of them directly jumped on the wounded dog and started fighting it. Seeing the black panthers lunging on the wounded comrade, other doges also joined the fight.

Blue exploding spheres were fired from here and there. Those panthers were only two in number, but the advantage of the body as they were stronger. faster, and bigger than those dogs. In between the fight of those dogs and panthers, Arvin slowly started crawling out of there. That was the best option at the moment.

Arvin started running as fast he could. Arvin ran and ran for 15 mins straight. Soon he started hearing the sound of a stream. He then started running towards the stream. The flow of the stream was not very fast. Arvin came here to drink some water. So he knelt down to drink some water.. But as he did his instincts told him that something far worse than those animals is watching him.
