Yu Hao looked beneath the sea of clouds and saw that more dark clouds had dispersed in various areas, and a golden light was reflected in the arena below.
“Including Satan, there are still 11 enemies left.” Yu Hao said, “Does everyone have that many obstacles in their hearts?”
“For many people, there could probably be even more ba.” Zhou Sheng said lightly, “Is Tao Tie a symbol of material greed? Indeed, I’ve always been a little unresigned.”
Yu Hao sat down cross-legged next to Zhou Sheng and touched his head. Zhou Sheng smiled at him like a brave general who had just won a battle.
“Say, what on earth do you think it is?” Zhou Sheng stared at the Golden Crow Wheel in a daze again, “Why did it choose me?”
Yu Hao looked up and the two of them kept silent. The flares of the Golden Crow Wheel surged continuously like the prominence of the sun.
“Is your totem in Satan’s hands?” Yu Hao asked.
“It’s split into two halves.” Zhou Sheng said, “The Golden Crow Wheel is considered as one half ba, the other half is in the arena below.”
“That’s possible too?” Yu Hao was surprised.
Zhou Sheng looked sideways at Yu Hao, “I don’t know why either. Everything here above the clouds became like this the day it came into my dream.”
Yu Hao’s eyebrows were set in a deep furrow as he kept thinking about the influence of the Golden Crow Wheel on Zhou Sheng’s dreamscape. It did sound extremely outrageous, but he could somewhat understand it. Assuming that Zhou Sheng had always been living a miserable life before he inadvertently picked up the Golden Crow Wheel, which then altered and carved his life up —— since he obtained a certain degree of confidence and strength because of this new ability, it was as if his life started anew, and his conviction was strengthened.
But on the other hand, his real life was still plagued by innumerable problems.
So the perception of his ‘self’ was split along with this process.
“General.” Yu Hao said earnestly, “I must talk to you very seriously and earnestly about this issue.”
Zhou Sheng turned his head around in a daze.
“I think it’s enough.” Yu Hao said, “What I need is not a perfect you.”
Zhou Sheng frowned and didn’t say anything.
Yu Hao said, “I like you, including your bad temper, your happiness, anger, joys, sorrows, your strengths, and all your weaknesses, just like how you like me! Zhou Sheng, you need to understand that no matter what you become, I’ll still like you.”
Zhou Sheng’s expression changed instantaneously.
“Fuck......” Zhou Sheng turned around and avoided Yu Hao’s gaze.
Yu Hao said, “Zhou Sheng?”
Yu Hao felt a bit uneasy. Should he have not said all that after Zhou Sheng went through so many hardships to defeat Medusa? But Zhou Sheng kept avoiding Yu Hao’s gaze.
“Okay! Okay!” Zhou Sheng answered, “I promise you! Come over here......behave yourself!”
Zhou Sheng forcibly pulled Yu Hao over and hugged him from behind. The two of them leaned on the white stone fence and looked at the sky.
The flames of the Golden Crow Wheel suddenly withdrew, and night seemed to fall. Within an instant, millions of meteors turned into white lines that flew across the night sky.
“Wah!” Yu Hao cried out, “What’s that? Why would there suddenly be meteors......”
“Shh, don’t talk.” Zhou Sheng whispered.
The two of them looked up, and after a long time passed, the meteor shower disappeared, and the Golden Crow Wheel resumed its brilliant radiance.
Yu Hao could feel that Zhou Sheng was trembling, so he asked, “What is it?”
“Idiot.” Zhou Sheng mocked.
“You!” Yu Hao got angry.
Zhou Sheng’s eyes were a little red; he lowered his head and kissed Yu Hao’s nape.
“Don’t mention anything else first, but can’t you give me a bit of a reward today?” Zhou Sheng said.
Yu Hao straddled Zhou Sheng and said, “Reproductive isolation exists between us.”
Zhou Sheng burst out laughing, and the black dragon flew over in an instant. Yu Hao said to the black dragon, “Go away!”
“It can’t go away.” Zhou Sheng said mysteriously.
Yu Hao, “Turn into a monkey for me?”
Zhou Sheng said, “What?! You’re that hardcore?!”
Yu Hao said, “Your monkey form’s really cool! It’s both tall and cool! This is a dream anyway......”
Zhou Sheng, “And now you think I’m too short???”
“I don’t!” Yu Hao said, but Zhou Sheng slowly turned into the Sun Wukong he saw in Shini’s dream. It was just like a 2-metre tall plush toy, and it was even alive and had a heartbeat too.
“So cool!” Yu Hao hugged Sun Wukong and shouted.
“This doesn’t seem very right though?” Zhou Sheng smiled and lifted one hand to embrace Yu Hao. Yu Hao pecked his cheek a few times, but suddenly, an alarm clock rang between the heavens and earth.
Yu Hao, “......”
Zhou Sheng, “......”
The two of them woke up, but Fu Liqun was still sleeping.
“Gege! What the hell are you trying to do?!” Yu hao complained in anguish.
Fu Liqun crawled up groggily. It was 8.30 in the morning.
“Ah.” Fu Liqun said, “I have to go to work......”
Zhou Sheng laid on bed, all five of his fingers spasming. He grasped tightly for awhile before loosening his grip helplessly.
“Okay, I lost to you.”
“I think I have to go to work too......” Yu Hao was a little dizzy as he climbed out of bed to boil water, “Drink a cup of coffee before leaving ba.”
“Thank you......” Fu Liqun was obviously a little fatigued, “I want to open a national chain of gyms in the future, so I’ll learn the ropes first.”
Zhou Sheng was no longer angry. He said to Fu Liqun, “Jiayou.”
“Jiayou, Gege.” Yu Hao said, “You can definitely do it.”
Fu Liqun washed up first before going to the gym to work. From today on, he would try his best to go over on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Yu Hao looked at his phone. He had to go for an interview with Xiao Yujun in the morning today, while Zhou Sheng would begin tutoring for two hours starting from 11 o’clock. In the afternoon, everyone would go to the college’s library together to study.
“Wanna eat your popsicle?” Zhou Sheng sat on the bed and said to Yu Hao.
Yu Hao had just taken a bath and was a little embarrassed.
Zhou Sheng said, “Have you washed it clean?”
Yu Hao didn’t say anything, he was blushing.
“Why are you being all pure now?” Zhou Sheng smiled, “Now I’m embarrassed too. There’s still an hour before you have to leave, treat Hubby to a popsicle bei, Wifey.”
Zhou Sheng got out of bed and motioned for Yu Hao to lean back against the ladder, pulled his hands away and got him to hold the ladder from above his head.
Yu Hao, “I, I’m letting you eat? Wait......it’s embarrassing, waah......”
Zhou Sheng said, “It’s just a little exchange ma, I’ll teach you.”
Yu Hao, “But you’ve never eaten one before......wait! Ai......”
The sun shone brightly on Ying City that autumn morning. Yu Hao wore a sports cap as he stepped on his skateboard and skated around a flat road in the park at the heart of the streets before arriving at the meeting place he had arranged with Xiao Yujun.
It’s so fun to skateboard in the park. Ever since Yu Hao learned how to skateboard, he never wanted to get off of it. Unfortunately, he couldn’t skateboard around the streets. Most people skateboarded to school and after school. Zhou Sheng bought a skateboard bag for him so he could still carry it around with him when he wasn’t skateboarding, like how he carries his shield on his back.
Yu Hao didn’t dare to skateboard along the road like how his third year seniors would casually do, but it was okay to play around in the park. The autumn air was refreshing, and the temperature was just right; when the slight breeze blew by, he would feel extremely comfortable from head to toe. Today, all he could think about was the exciting scene in the dormitory, that was his first time......and he didn’t expect that Zhou Sheng would be that serious.
Does it matter whether or not we want to do that? Yu Hao had already been completely conquered by Zhou Sheng. In the past, he hadn’t always yearned for sex, and he would have been very happy as long as they could be together. However, what was said in his major’s class was really right, and it couldn’t be more right.
Sex is a strong catalyst in the reaction of love. The excitement from tasting the forbidden fruit for the first time, as well as the feeling of giving oneself completely and thoroughly to the other party made it seem as if Yu Hao had opened the door to a whole new world.
No, I can’t think about it anymore, Yu Hao felt like he was getting a little too distracted by all of Zhou Sheng’s teasing.
“Skateboard boy!” Xiao Yujun laughed, “You’re in a pretty good mood today ma!”
“It can’t get any better!” Yu Hao stepped on his skateboard and put it away, “I’ll buy coffee for you.”
“I’m so envious of people in relationships.” Xiao Yujun said, “Let’s go little puppy, let Jiejie take advantage of you too and enjoy having someone carry my bag for me.” As she spoke, she threw her bag to Yu Hao. Yu Hao was still very good at taking care of people, especially girls.
Today, Xiao Yujun and Yu Hao were here to attend a salon. The purpose of this salon was to provide a venue for parents with kids who had psychological problems to interact with one another. In its earliest stages, there were just a few elderly people complaining about their grandsons to one another, but it had slowly developed into this meeting for exchanges today.
After listening for awhile, Yu Hao realised that the so-called “communication barrier” wasn’t mental illness, but a real unwillingness to understand each other, and parents were largely responsible for this.
After they finished recording, Xiao Yujun passed the recording pen to Yu Hao and as usual, Yu Hao would go looking for Chen Yekai to seek his “expert advice”. In the afternoon, he studied with Zhou Sheng, while Fu Liqun was half dead from fatigue and had come back for an afternoon nap. He still had to go to the gym that night.
Yu Hao and Zhou Sheng sat side by side at a long table in the library. He couldn’t absorb what he was reading at all, and as soon as he thought of what happened in their dormitory today, his attention would get diverted and he would always want to look at Zhou Sheng or kiss him. Yet, Zhou Sheng said with a stern countenance, “Study seriously!”
Yu Hao, “You’re not reading either.”
Zhou Sheng had only flipped through three pages of his English exercise book in the past hour, and he kept sneaking glimpses of Yu Hao from the corner of his eye.
“Where did you learn it from?” Yu Hao said.
“Don’t you watch videos?” Zhou Sheng was blushing a little and whispered, “Or are your skills a natural gift?”
There weren’t a lot of people in the library, and they were scattered about as well. Yu Hao moved and sat opposite Zhou Sheng without answering him.
“Come back!” Zhou Sheng whispered.
Yu Hao smiled and glanced at him. He could look at him openly since they now sat face to face, it just wouldn’t be convenient to talk. So Zhou Sheng could only start working on some problems absentmindedly, and a moment later, he took a book and wrote on it before pushing it over to Yu Hao to talk to him. Yu Hao wrote on it and pushed it back, then Zhou Sheng did the same again.
In the end, Zhou Sheng kept the book, got up, and left.
