Chapter 208 Stormrend

Canna stared at the newly hatched hydra, its sheer presence was overwhelming even in its infancy.

Standing at a towering 30 feet, Stormrend's body radiated a raw, electrifying energy. The main body was a writhing mass of crackling lightning, every movement sending arcs of electricity dancing across its heavily armored form.

The hydra's three heads each displayed their own fierce personality, distinct yet interconnected by the storms that surged within. One head was a fiery red, exuding intense heat and flames that licked at the air. The second was a deep icy blue, mist forming around its maw, chilling everything in its path.

The third was a venomous green, seeping poison with every breath, its eyes glowing with toxic malevolence.

The scales covering its massive form were like storm-forged steel, impervious to the usual wear and tear, reflecting its elemental mastery. Each step it took left scorched marks on the ground, and the sound of crackling energy followed it like a herald's announcement.

This was no ordinary hydra; it was a walking natural disaster, a being of pure elemental fury, and it was now under Canna's command. He checked it stat's can't keep his mouth closed

Storm Presence:

A natural aura that surrounds Stormrend, creating a zone of disruptive mana that impairs enemy movements and spellcasting within its vicinity. Reduces enemy accuracy and increases the likelihood of spell failure.

Active Skills

Tri-Elemental Breath:

Each of Stormrend's heads can unleash a different elemental breath attack simultaneously, dealing massive combined damage of fire, ice, and poison. When used together, it creates a devastating vortex of destructive forces.

Maelstrom Burst:

Stormrend releases a burst of raw elemental energy from its core, causing the surrounding area to erupt with powerful explosions of lightning, fire, and acidic vapors. The blast stuns and heavily damages enemies caught in its radius.

Hydra's Wrath:

A devastating multi-headed strike where each head targets a separate enemy, tearing through defenses with enhanced elemental damage. This attack is a coordinated assault, designed to overwhelm even the toughest foes.

Stormcall Rejuvenation:

Summons a concentrated storm above Stormrend that showers the battlefield with elemental energy. This storm heals Stormrend over time while damaging and paralyzing enemies caught in its downpour.

Lightning Conduit:

Creates a network of lightning connecting Stormrend to its targets, draining their energy while empowering itself. This ability allows Stormrend to absorb mana from enemies and convert it into raw power, boosting its next attack.

Elemental Dominance:

Activates an elemental shield around Stormrend that reflects a percentage of all elemental damage back to the attacker. This makes direct attacks on the hydra dangerous, as enemies end up harming themselves.

Crackling Charge:

Stormrend charges forward with blinding speed, surrounded by a field of lightning. This tackle shreds through enemies, leaving a trail of electrical discharges that continuously damage those who step into it.

Canna's heart raced as he absorbed the enormity of Stormrend's potential. With this creature, he could lay waste to kingdoms. Stormbringer and Stormrend together, despite their infancy, were already forces of nature. Stormbringer, though still considered a baby by dragon standards, stood at a colossal 190 feet.

Tonitrum had warned him that Stormbringer could grow to a staggering 700 feet in its full adult form—a behemoth by any standard. And now, there was Stormrend, newly born yet already radiating a power that sent chills down Canna's spine.

He could feel the connection between them, a bond that would only grow stronger with time. Yet, amidst the excitement, a wave of stress hit him—how would he possibly feed these creatures? The enormity of the task weighed on him, but for now, he focused on the present. Stormrend's main head fixed its gaze on Canna, while the other two heads curiously surveyed their surroundings.

"Stormrend, we're on a battlefield right now. Come with me to your new home," Canna said, his voice steady despite the whirlwind of thoughts in his mind. The hydra responded with a nod, the storm within it rumbling in anticipation.

Canna opens up the portal again, time to introduce Stormrend with everyone else.

Meanwhile, the team Kael had dispatched to scout the orc settlement stumbled upon a treasure trove: the orcs' main food supply. Hidden deep within the settlement, they found an enormous pen filled with what looked like giant, monstrous turkeys. These creatures, known as Rockfowls, stood at nearly eight feet tall with thick, muscled legs and vibrant, earthy-brown plumage.

Their eyes glowed with a faint, eerie light, and every movement they made was accompanied by a low, rumbling sound, like stones grinding together.

The Rockfowls were the orcs' primary source of sustenance, prized for their dense, protein-rich meat. Their flesh was not only highly nutritious but also carried a unique energizing property, making it an ideal food source for warriors preparing for battle.

Realizing the potential, Kael's team quickly marked the location, knowing that this discovery would be a significant boost to Canna's food supply in the sanctuary. With these creatures, Canna would definitely be happy.
