The skill was for a split second hold that that made the movement of the virile hare freeze and Jon dashed forward to put an end to the quill shooter, however frozen as he was the hare was not defenseless, a wall of earth rose to block Jon's path.

The earth element was what the hare was most in tune with and the more walls Jon knocked down the more the hare erected.

Ordinarily, demon beasts were incapable of using skills, their elemental attunement was a way for nature to make it up to them so to speak.

The only problem was nature went too far. The instant a demon beast is born either it is born as a demon beast or it evolved from a wild beast there was an eighty percent chance it would be elementally attuned.

It did not matter what realm they were in and this gave them an advantage against energy sensing realm cultivators who could not use skills without ruining themselves. That was why no one goes after beast at their level when hunting and try to make sure they are at least a level above their prey.

While Jon faced off against the virile hare his compadres were not idle; two were facing off against the silverback scaled tiger whose physical abilities surpassed that of the hare. Another one faced the scarlet wolf, which was in tune with the fire element and the last of them was locked in combat with a lizard that kept shooting acidic slime at him.

Hal caught up to the lady in a short while as she had long stopped running and was instead leaning against a tree panting and breathing heavily, her face was flushed and her area was constantly dripping.

The lady felt unfortunate because she was now naked from the waist down and knuckles deep but it did not matter what she did, she could not be relieved and as such her self control was long gone when a blue eyed man arrived where she was.
