Chapter 102 Go Home
"How much do all these branches cost?" Amanda asked William.
The latter, even though he had guessed that Amanda would pay, still had a hard time reacting.
"Yeah, ehh, 185K," he replied in a somewhat confused tone.
"That really is a hundred branches, right? Nothing missing?" Amanda took out her cell phone and asked while looking at the wooden chest again to confirm.
"Don't worry Mrs. Amanda, I've counted it three times, nothing is missing," William replied.
"Okay, let's finish the transaction, state your account number," said Amanda.
William didn't answer right away, he picked up his cell phone which was on the table, looking like he left it before.
After the transaction was completed, he said, "I'll help send this chest, but where will it be sent?"
He looked at Amanda and then at Arthur, seeming unsure who he should ask.
And suddenly, Amanda said, "dear, how about having it delivered to my mansion? You can work more easily there."
William's eyes opened wide as he heard the word Amanda used to address Arthur. He touched his ear, wondering if this was just a dream.
At the same time, Arthur nodded, agreeing to Amanda's suggestion.
"Well, take it to my mansion," Amanda said to William whose face almost froze.
"Mm, mm, o-okay!" He nodded.
"Are we going home now?" Amanda asked Arthur again.
"Yes," Arthur replied. "Take me to my house."
Arthur picked up three branches of agarwood for him to take home as he said that.
"Alright!"
As Arthur and Amanda were about to take a step out of William's office, the man suddenly asked. "Mrs. Amanda, are you and Arthur?"
"As you can see," Amanda replied before William could say more. There was no hesitation for Amanda to answer when the question arose.
She grabbed Arthur's hand as she continued walking and said, "before I take you, let's go find something to eat first, you must be hungry, right, my dear?"
Her charming smile let William know that there was absolutely no fake in their relationship.
Only, how was it so fast? he wondered.
__
While eating, Amanda seemed to think of something, she said, "I suddenly realized, agarwood branch is illegal in Europe, if we open the shop, I'm sure a bunch of police will come to demand an explanation. I think you should ask your aunt for help in this area."
Arthur suddenly remembered what William had said at the party the other day. Southeast Asia banned its export while Europe banned its distribution. Only agarwood that has become a finished product may be distributed.
"But considering it's something useful, a special rule should be possible to make, right?" asked Arthur.
"Yeah, just show the product to the Ministry of Environment, your aunt happens to be on the same side as the minister, so we can meet the minister in person if she takes care of it," Amanda replied.
"I see, I'll talk to her later... By the way, how much time do you need before we can start selling?"
"That won't take long. First one gets the shop, then does some minor renovations, and starts promotions. One week is probably the longest..."
__
After finishing their meal, Amanda drove Arthur home while she went to her office to work.
The house was empty when Arthur returned, so he went straight to his room, placing the three agarwood branches he had brought on his desk.
Just as he was going to the balcony of his room, a harpy passed above the house and dropped something.
Arthur who knew that picked up the object dropped by the harpy.
It was of course the skull mouth he stole from the Stage of Death.
He looked around as he held the skull's mouth. "It still absorbs energy. Although not as much as when there is hateful energy around, it is still much more than me and it has the power to cover a large area."
From the moment the skull's mouth landed, the spiritual energy in an area several hundred meters around the house was gathering in the house. It makes practicing magic much easier.
Crack!
Arthur split the skull's mouth in half. It's made up of two parts, the top and the bottom, they're also not fused together, so they can be split into two.
He planned to leave one here for his aunt and Carla to make it easier to practice while the other one he would put in Amanda's mansion.
Perhaps he would live there, so he would also need to increase the spiritual energy in the mansion. And since it's on the outskirts of the city, the spiritual energy can be double that of here.
Of course, the skull's mouth could be used for more things, but with Arthur's current strength, those things were quite difficult, so he chose the simplest one.
'It will be safe as long as it doesn't absorb the energy of hatred.'
Arthur cast a spell on the ground below, causing a well-like hole to appear in the ground. He then threw one of the skull's mouth halves into it before closing the hole again.
After that, he threw another part into the sky, it was picked up by the harpy again and he carried it to the mountainous area in the east.
He then returned to his room, sat on his bed.
The next thing he did was take out the two gold papers.
Now, they are separated from that ancient Bible. He deliberately tore them to make it easier to carry them. By folding them into pieces, he could store them in his pockets.
Even though he already knew the contents of the two papers, he read them again, trying to see if there was some hidden message he wasn't aware of.
These two could be said to be the last chapter, which was a pity, causing him to be unable to read the true history of the earth.
When he had perused them and still found nothing, he sighed, tucking them away in his pouch again.
He started meditating, but not just practicing magic. He also researched his body to find out if he really had the ability to send his consciousness into a different dimension.
It was undoubtedly an extremely extraordinary ability as it could traverse different dimensions.
If he could control it, his development would be unfathomable.
Unfortunately, it was late afternoon and Carla finally came home, he still couldn't detect anything.
And he had no other choice but to open his eyes because Carla didn't go to her room when she got home, she came straight to his room, even opened it without even knocking.
"Are you alone?" Arthur asked her. He did not find Bella's presence beside her.
When he saw her eyes, he couldn't help but think strangely. The woman seemed to harbor a certain determination.
"Bella will still be staying here tonight, but she has to go home first," Carla answered as she took a step towards his bed.
