Chapter 1185 Tia
1185 Tia
"On this day, we say goodbye to Rin's Grandmother. She spent the end of her life doing what she wanted to do most, which was to protect her granddaughter at all costs. While her first journey ends here, her second journey is just beginning. She will now be inside her granddaughter's heart for all eternity. Walking the same path as her granddaughter does. "Let us all have a moment of silence and give thanks to Rin's Grandmother for raising such a cute child." Kana hated funerals but she wanted to give Rin a means of moving on. This was why she chose her words carefully, making it seem like the old woman would always be by Rin's side.
After the funeral, Kana gathered everyone together to make an announcement. "We will claim this land as ours. It is out in the middle of nowhere. No matter which way I go, there is nothing but forest. But this place is also quite good. It is rich in many different kinds of energy and also has a good source of water and fertile land. We will begin building homes here and make this place our foundation in this new realm. It will give us a chance to raise our power even more as well before we come in contact with those who might see us as easy targets.
"Nia, if you wish to return, you can or you can stay here with us. But we might not move from this spot for a good tens of years." Kana wanted to give Nia a chance to return home if she so wished.
"I…. Can I bring Tia here?" Nia had her head lowered and was playing with her fingers as she asked this. She really wanted her sister to meet her mama.
"Of course! Why would I say no to seeing my daughter? Just do not let your father know where we are. I do not wish to be found by him when my family is still not powerful enough to resist him. I do not wish to kill your father." Kana really did not wish for conflict at this time. Her goal now was allowing her family to be powerful enough not to be killed by someone who did not like how they looked at them or because they did not do as someone said. This was her biggest fear. After living so long on a cultivation world, she worried greatly that this realm of existence would be like that. From what she has heard it seemed to be this way. In order to live comfortably, they needed a time of peace. A time to gain power and work hard towards becoming stronger before finally going out into the world. Abiding time until discovered.
"Don't worry, Father will not be able to follow us because I do not even need to go anywhere." Nia took out a purple crystal-looking thing.
"This here is a summon crystal, it has been bound to Tia. I only need to crush it to bring her here." Nia clenched her fist, crushing the crystal in her hand. Not even a second later a purple light appeared in front of Nia that slowly took shape of a young girl in her late teens. Her long black hair hung over her face and she clutched a strange-looking doll in her arms. Her gothlolita style dress fluttered in the breeze. "Nia?" The girl asked softly. "Why did you bring me to such a place?"
"Tia, Mother is here." Nia stepped forward and turned Tia around so that she could be face to face with Kana. Kana smiled and stepped forward as she looked at the girl who seemed scared. "So you are Tia. Nia has told me a lot about you."
"Mama?" Tia's eyes welled up. She then suddenly jumped forward and hugged Kana, burying her face into Kana's chest. "Tia has always been a Mama's girl." Nia teased as she patted Tia's head. "Mama, we will both stay here with you. We can help our sisters grow in strength. This world is not easy, and we need to hurry up get get everyone strong enough to be able to live without worry."
"I will leave them in your care. That is okay, right girls?" Kana looked at Angelica and the others, who all smiled and nodded. "Then I will work with your father after spending some time with Tia."
"Actually, Kana, you do not need to worry too much about me. There is a spot not far from here that seems to be calling out to me. It might be a chance for me." Creige had had this strange feeling since coming here. That something was calling out to him. He knew the general direction and distance, so he knew it was not too far away. If he was right, if he went to this place, he could gain power enough to protect himself and his family.
Kana bit her lip as she looked at Creige. She knew she should let him go, but she was worried. "Only if you let me put a marking on you so that I know where you are at all times."
"Alright." Creige nodded. He did not mind if his wife was tracking him.
Kana waved her hand, creating a small runic symbol in the air that shot forward and entered Creige's chest. She would know where he was anyway, but this was a precaution in case something happened. It would allow her to arrive at his side faster.
"Creige, be careful." Kana's worried look made Creige smile softly. Even after all this time, Kana still deeply loved him. "I promise to return to you as soon as I can." Creige moved forward and gave Kana a kiss before flying off. "Now then… Tia, come, we will go to the river and have a chat." Kana took Tia's hand and pulled her along. She wanted to get to know this other daughter of hers. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
