Chapter 103
[However... The synchronisation is almost complete.]
[I cannot simultaneously control the training while also finishing the synchronisation process.]
[Not now at least.]
Gray's eyes widened, he got so invested in training that he had forgotten.
"What's it at right now?"
[98% Synchronised.]
Upon hearing this, Gray calmed down slightly. He sat back down before looking up at the orb.
"I'll wait then." He said.

"The Imperial Fallen Angel Opposition?" The king repeated.
"That is correct your majesty, I believe this is the only power in this continent which is giving us trouble. The government is also another factor which are opposing us." Said the man kneeled ahead of the king.
Short slick black hair and deep black eyes.
The armour which he wore was nothing special. It was a simple leather armour, with a black shirt and pants. Such armour was covered by a cloak.
On the back of the cloak a family crest could be seen.
A family known by many from where they were from. For he was the duke.
Beside him was another lady. She was the one who had been with the king when the dimension cube was deployed.
A beautiful lady, her figure both perfectly curved and plump drawing the attention of all which drew near her.
She wore traditional eastern style clothing. A yukata along with wooden sandals. It was the common wear from their kingdom.
On her hand she held onto a fan with a peculiar design. A different family crest could be seen on it.
"I've also confirmed that what he is saying is true. The humans are strong, but it's not all of them. The ones who which are, are few. They're mostly working under this organisation."
The air around them changed, it grew heavier as they felt a sudden spike in the pressure on their backs.
"If you've discovered all of this, why is it that you haven't yet dealt with them?" He asked
"We have not been able to locate them. Many of them refuse to submit to the torture they don't tell us the location out of fear of their family being harmed according to their words." He said
"Well then I don't have to tell you what to do next, do I?" He asked.
"No, your majesty. We will deal with it right away." They replied before vanishing from his sight.
*Crack*
The arm bar for the king's throne suddenly cracked as he let his fury get the best of him.
Taking in a deep breath he turned to his shadow.
"You're saying a few of our nobles have almost managed to reach one of the final floors of the dungeon?" He asked.
"Yes, that is correct. They've acquired many new skill orbs, some very rare. This will make things much easier for us."
The king nodded before looking up at the moon
"How many humans are left in this city in comparison to before we came?"
"I can't give a rough estimate, but I would say over 90% of them have died. Many to the virus while the remainder to us. The life force radiating from it has thinned down." Said the shadow.
The entire cities were practically in ruins. The zombie apocalypse, alongside the invasion had taken an absurdly large toll on human.
The same situation was most likely occurring on the other continents as a result of the invasion from the other kingdoms.
Extinction was dawning upon humanity.
"Good… Then they must hurry up so that we can start the final phase. Only then will we be powerful enough to save our people…" The king muttered to himself.
The king proceeded to look to the left, at the edge of the fleet. He raised his hand, gesturing his shadow guards to wait and not make any moves.
"Show yourself, you have three seconds before I kill you." He said. "And don't bother running. You're already trapped inside."
Around the fleet, a transparent cube was slightly visible. Another dimensional cube with a property different than the one above the ship.
He raised his hand up showing three fingers before lowering each down individually. When there was one left, he stopped.
The cube was distorted, whoever it was managed to tear their way out of it as they had torn their way in without being noticed.
p
It was his daughter.
With a flick of his wrist, a shadow suddenly moved out of his before disappearing off into the distance in chase of her.
"Find out where she's going. If she's interacting with anyone who will affect our plans. Kill them."
The figure of a girl with red horns, black twin tails and round golden eyes could be seen running through the city with a large battle axe looming over her shoulder. It was Ruby.
She was on her way back to the base, ready to tell Gray about what she had discovered.

"What now-"
Gray was interrupted as a bright light was suddenly emitted from the orb. It lit up the entire room, almost blinding him as he reflexively shut his eyes.
Whilst squinted, his heart began to pound from the expectations of something big happening.
His expectations were completely shattered however on the next second as the glow suddenly vanished.
Whilst squinting, he could see a book floating ahead of the system's orb.
It levitated whilst it flipped through the pages on it's own.
