Chapter 3: [3]First Battle

After several hours after the storm ended, Ren noticed an island in front of him.

This was the first time since arriving in this world that he had seen an island! In the past few hours, he had seen nothing but the endless blue sea. However, he knew that most of this planet consisted mainly of seas and oceans.

'As far as I remember, this world is made up of four seas: the East Blue, the West Blue, the North Blue, and the South Blue.'

'In addition to these four seas, there is what is known as the 'Grand Line' or the 'Pirate Graveyard.' It is divided into two halves: the first half is called Paradise and the second half is the New World.'

Ren recalled all the important information related to this world, and he was confident that his memory had not been affected by his mysterious transfer.

Ren rose from the broken wooden chair and began to look at the island that was becoming clearer before him.

His eyes sparkled with cold determination. He decided he would no longer care about maintaining the original storyline as it was. If there was a benefit in changing this path, he would do it. The same went for the opposite.

To achieve his goals, he wouldn't hesitate to clash or form animosity with his favorite characters from his previous life; this was not just a manga, but reality.

He confirmed this fact when he reached a large square, in the center of which was an execution platform that attracted the attention of many tourists.

'I searched through all the wanted posters for East Blue pirates that I saw, but I couldn't find a poster for 'Monkey D. Luffy.' This means the story hasn't begun yet, and I have a chance to recruit... I mean, to enlist good members of my crew...'

The first member Ren thought of was the beautiful navigator, Nami. He couldn't sail without any navigation experience, not to mention traveling in the turbulent sea of the Grand Line...

Ren was now standing in front of five men wielding sharp swords.

Then, when he entered one of the narrow and well-hidden alleys, five men emerged and surrounded him.

"I only wanted one person, but five appeared? Is this my luck?" Ren sneered while the men scowled at him.

"You fool, have you gone mad from fear and started to ramble? Give us all your money, or I'll Help you in this!" One of the pirates in front of him shouted, spitting as he glared with a 'typical villain' smile.

It should be noted that Ren's current appearance made people think he was one of the rich families, with his clean clothes that he "borrowed" from the destroyed ship and his handsome face. With his unique blue hair, it was hard for the pirates not to think of robbing him.

"If I said I'm a broke homeless person with no money, would you believe me?" Ren said with an innocent smile.

"Of course not! You fool, don't waste my time any longer and hand over the cash, and maybe I'll let you leave here alive!"

"Alright, alright... No need to get angry, here, take my money."

Suddenly, Ren moved quickly, pulling a gun from his jacket pocket, and fired quickly at the

pirate in the middle!

"You bastard! You asked for this! Kill him!"

After one of the pirates had his head pierced and his body fell to the ground, the other four attacked Ren furiously with their swords, trying to kill him.

*Bang!*

Ren dodged the sword aimed at his left side, then reloaded his gun and skillfully shot a bullet between the eyes of one of the attackers, who fell dead instantly.

He had no time to relax as another pirate attacked him, his sword close to his waist. Ren used his gun to block the sharp blade and then kicked the pirate, causing him to lose his footing

and balance.

*Bang!*

He shot the stumbling pirate to ensure he couldn't get up again. The bullet struck the pirate's head, confirming his death.

Of the five pirates, three were dead, and two remained. Another pirate attacked Ren, targeting his head with his sharp blade. Turning his head to the other side, Ren dodged the sword and

was close to shooting the attacker in the head.

"!!!!!"

But his calm expression quickly changed when he saw the second pirate pull out a gun and

glare at him with a wicked smile, ready to shoot!

"Damn it!"

Ren cursed, then grabbed the pirate in front of him, pinning him down with all his strength,

using his body as a human shield.

His actions were so quick they took less than a second.

*Bang!*

The second pirate fired, but his wicked smile quickly turned into utter shock when he saw his

bullet strike his friend, who looked at him in disbelief.

'Now!'

Of course, Ren wouldn't let this opportunity slip by when the enemy was in a state of

confusion.

He threw the pirate who had been shot by friendly fire aside, then took his gun and reloaded it again. The distance between him and the only remaining pirate had closed significantly, striking the pirate's hand and causing him to drop his gun, then grabbing him by the neck.

*Bang!*

A single bullet pierced the pirate's head at close range, ending his life. Ren threw the dead

body on the ground and smiled coldly.

"That was a good warm-up."
