Chapter 411: Saving Grace

Saving Grace

It demanded complete control and focus. The four stone was at much distance, it said that the girl was faster than the reaction of the loyal stone for saving the young hunter. The beast kept it hidden still Lowa appeared in between the attack and the busy hunter. 

Being level six she was nobody to stand the energy. Her body soaked the death force. Qiao turned with her scream. Lowa casted last glance before vanishing in the air, "I paid for the saving grace." Qiao hurried to stop her but his hands only met empty air. 

His eyes fell at the beast. Qiao roared piercing the sky and the stones buried the beast alive. Qiao was moving his hands in the air guiding his stones. The stones were like beasts conquering the sky filling with the death energy. 

Qiao was at the peak of his rage. Half of the death energy fell on the struggling Lord Zim, he was killed the same way. His body vanished as if it never existed. Still the wrath was unrestricted. He was unable to control his anger. If he was allowed he would have cried because another sincere human of this world sacrificed life to save him. 

He wanted to send her back in the Hightown. He wanted her to become stronger. With her sincere heart she could have become real force of the Hightown but

She was killed ruthlessly and he could not do anything. The sky started thundering with the unrestricted force. The North Sepedra was near to collapse on its feet. The beasts were horrified that anytime this death force would fell on them. They were waiting for the hunter to mercy. 

Qiao walked toward the broken building and attacked. Biggest crater appeared and the remaining signs of the black building vanished from the grounds of the North Sepedra. 

With the accumulated anger his previous hidden evil force came on surface, his eyes turned crimson red. He could feel that his control over both forces was getting weaker. The fourth stone listened his silent command. 

Lam rushed and enveloped his body under the aura. This aura was stable. It brought tranquility to his heart and mind for some time. The raging forces slowly reverted back. The mix of light blue, green and pink colors soothed his eyes and the eyes regained original color.

Only this specific stone was capable of releasing these colors this was the reason that Qiao set it for the time of crisis. This was second time that he faced his inner blunt force. He did not like the way it was unrestricted at times. 

Qiao wanted to get control over it. The beasts noticed that the death force decreased considerably. Qiao deactivated powerful stones. He looked in every direction to see if anyone among the beasts wanted to challenge or duel. Nobody dared to spread the wings. 

In such situation spreading wings meant that they wanted to challenge since no one came forward, Qiao nodded. When Alum sensed the raging energy of the mater, it flew toward the North Sepedra in search of Qiao. The golden feather monster was no more worried that beasts would harm. 

The raging energy was signal that the master was in trouble. "I have killed Lord Beast, he was traitor. Every traitor will be killed. If anyone tried to stand against the Hightown then they will face the Hunters." His voice echoed in every direction of the North Sepedra. It was carrying visible threat. 

There was still raging energy lingering however Lam was active to control it. Qiao let it control because Lam was trustable stone. Despite absorbing the energy of the beast stones in the previous mission, Lam did not change the core nature. It was admirable. Through this the stone got the trust of the master. 

Hiko was worried that if he had had spoken the secret about the orders of the Frost Fire Continent then this hunter might have destroyed the North Sepedra completely. Nevertheless the current condition of the North Sepedra was already miserable. More than half of the council beasts were killed. Stronger beasts were killed in the revolt. 

Lord Beast was killed. Qiao casted his glance at all directions then moved to leave the North Sepedra. His mission was completed. There was no use in staying here anymore. He was not obliged to go back South Sepedra and report. Instead he could reach Hightown for further instructions. 

He sensed his loyal flying toward him. Qiao turned to see Alum. Alum saw the master and reached near spreading its feather in his feet. "Your body is still going through alteration?" Qiao was slightly surprised because there was double row of feathers. It was strange though it increased the flying pace similar of level eight beast.

"I am also equally shocked my master. The changes are welcoming though. The double row of feathers can take the long journey with ease." Those eyes were gleaming with the happiness thinking that master would not abandon now. 

"Sure but I want to stroll for some time." Qiao nodded and walked leaving the boundary of the North Sepedra. 

Alum also walked behind. The double row of the feathers dragged on the ground. "Those feathers are beautiful. Fly high so that I can see you." Qiao waved his hand. This loyal monster immediately got his attention. Qiao wanted to silently walk while the feathers were creating noise. 

"As you say master." Alum took flight. It remained behind seeing that master was sad for some reason. One active stone lingering its aura around, one loyal monster and the hunter started their journey toward the Hightown. 

Qiao did not take direct route which he used for reaching South Sepedra. He thought find some best place where he would experiment few of his battle moves also search some powerful beast. He also wished to meet the mother of the girl and let her know that her daughter was brave huntress. 

This might lift burden from his shoulders. He completed his mission in six days. Qiao set rest of the days for venturing and looking for best race of beasts.
