Chapter 65 65 Moonlight Plant
[Blood absorbed 1%]
'Huh...what is this' Alex looked at the notification in front of him carefully.
'Blood absorbed...does this dagger absorb blood, I didn't notice... maybe that's the use of the dagger, I just have to absorb blood till it reaches 100%'
"What are you staring at, did you get a rare item?" Gabriel asked.
"No, I didn't get an item from him but I picked his sword, he was pretty strong"
"You know it's already night right, we should keep going, and when are we going to reach the location?"
"It's still a little far but we can make it," Alex said as both of them walked toward Max.
Alex and Gabriel quickly joined up with Max and the girl, the girl wore her clothes that the HaremMaster took off when he caught her.
"Thank you for saving me," the girl said to Alex.
"No problem, we should keep moving" Alex spoke.
"C-Can I join you guys, I want to join your group" the girl said.
"Yeah sure, after we are done with the quest you can be on your way," Alex said.
"N-No...I mean I want to join you guys f-forever, I'm a healer and I would be useful in case you get in danger" the girl said.
"Well...the two of us are friends, and he lives in my apartment so we have no problem forming a team, but as an outsider, we don't even know you," Alex said.
"But you know she would be useful if she makes it to level 10 and obtain a skill, I heard some high-level healer can bring a player to life immediately after he's killed," Max said.
"Really...there is a skill that powerful, then she can join us, we'll get to know her eventually," Gabriel said and Alex shrugged.
None of them agreed with him and he can't argue with them, Alex looked at both of them and walked forward, the group immediately followed him as he led the way.
"Is he the leader?" the girl whispered to Max.
"We don't have a leader but he's the strongest one in our little group so you can call him the leader" Max whispered back.
"What are you guys looking for, are you on a quest?"
"Yes," Max replied, he was starting to get annoyed with her.
"So what's the quest, are you going to battle something, or what?" the girl asked.
"This is the reason why I didn't want her in the first place, she's going to cause our death, no... she's going to cause your deaths because I'm going to escape" Alex spoke without turning around.
"I'm sorry" the girl apologized.
"Have you ever played a game before?" Max asked.
"No this is the first time I'm playing a game like this," the girl said and the three of them immediately turned around and stared at her.
"Wait...so you have never played a game before in your life?" Gabriel asked.
"No I play games on my phone, I play bubble shooter, Candy crush, and bubble rush" the girl replied with a smile on her face.
"I-Is something wrong?" the girl asked as the three of them stood still staring at her.
"So you haven't played an RPG game before even on your phone?" Alex asked.
"RPG...no I haven't"
"Then why did you buy this game, don't you know how games like this are," Max said.
"My friend told me about the game, how you can stay at home and be in another world" the girl replied.
"So that's the only reason you played the game, so you can stay at home and be in another world huh... guys I think this girl is going to help us in our quest," Alex said.
"You are right... she's going to serve as a meat wall and protect us from danger" Gabriel said.
"You shouldn't have played a game like this, do you like the game even after what happened to you?" Max asked.
"It's just a game, even though I was angry it's not like he had sex with me in real life" the girl spoke.
"You just wasted your money, you shouldn't have bought the game," Max said.
"Ohh...the helmet Isn't a waste of money it's just $5,000, I also bought it because it's shiny," the girl said and instead of standing still, this time the three of them walked towards her.
"Did you just say $5,000?" Alex asked.
"Yes, I had to save for 5 days so I can buy the shiny one"
"So you have the gold quality helmet, and you only saved for 5 days, where do you work?" Max asked.
"Are you sure she's the one that worked for the money, did you work for the money?" Gabriel asked.
"No I'm still in college, my dad usually gives me an allowance of $1000 daily," the girl said and the three of their jaws dropped.
"You get a thousand dollars daily, I had to save money for months just to buy the lowest quality, though I didn't want my parents to know that's why," Alex said.
"You said you are in college, which college do you attend?" Gabriel asked.
"Woodpine college..."
"Yes..." Gabriel shouted, "Yes...we also attend woodpine college, nice to meet you, I'm Gabriel what's your name, your real name?" Gabriel asked immediately.
"Ohh... I'm Rebecca, so the three of you attend the same college" the girl asked.
pαпdα`noνɐ1`сoМ "No, only me and him," Gabriel said and pointed to Alex.
"We have to keep moving, we'll soon get to the location where the plants are," Alex said and turned around.
The group followed Alex as he led the way, now that Rebecca told the group about the money her family has, Gabriel and Max were suddenly interested in her.
They asked her questions and answers her questions without thinking twice, Rebecca was clueless but she kept talking with them.
"Alex isn't this strange," Max asked.
"What is?"
"We haven't encountered a single beast since we came to the forest, aren't beasts supposed to be active at night why haven't we seen any of them," Max said.
"Now that you mentioned it, I've also been thinking about it for a while now, but we are also at our destination so let's worry about that," Alex's said.
"Do we have to fight any beast or do we just have to search for the plants?" Gabriel asked.
"I'm pretty sure we'll have to fight something, given the amount of reward," Alex said.
"Then we have to be prepared and please Gabriel you can't use your fireball," Max said.
"Why, don't worry I'll be careful, and stop telling me what to do, I'll give you a good warning when we log out" Gabriel laughed.
"Ehmm...I don't know how to fight and I'm a little scared" Rebecca said.
"Don't worry you are a healer, you don't have to fight, just stay close and heal us if necessary" Gabriel said with a smile.
"If you don't know how to fight, how did you manage to reach level 3?" Alex asked.
"I haven't done anything since I came to the game, I started at level 3" Rebecca replied.
"Wow...the use of a gold quality helmet, I heard the diamond quality helmet offers one free retry" Max spoke.
"But it's $10,000, it's too expensive, I'm sure only wealthy people would be able to buy the diamond quality" Gabriel sighed.
"So there's a type higher than this one, I thought this one was the highest, I would have bought the diamond type if I knew" Rebecca pouted, this girl in front of them never ceases to amaze them.
The money they had to save for months on their own is given to her as an allowance on daily basis, they were living in different worlds.
"You don't need to fight, but do you know how to use your healing cane?" Alex asked.
"That stick, I haven't used it, is there a special way to use it?" Rebecca asked.

'I still have a long way before level 13, I still haven't seen any information on skills, I just hope we don't encounter anything too powerful' Alex mumbled as Max tried to explain to Rebecca how to use her healing cane.
The group proceeded further till they reached their location, in front of them blue plants were scattered all around the forest and they were glowing brightly.
A huge tree was located in the center of the plants, most of the plants grew on the tree while the rest was scattered around.
"These are the moonlight plants, and the man that gave me the quest said 1000 coins for just one of them" Alex muttered.
"That means if we bring all the plants here, we are going to get over 50,000 coins" Gabriel spoke holding back his excitement.
"We shouldn't be hasty, a beast might be lurking here"
