Atlantia Unique Quest: Help Tia contact John Michaels and discover the level of the Dawnscape city corruption
"Would you like to find out?"
"TIA" Both women cried in surprise seeing that the AI had appeared next to them all of a sudden.
While it was unusual for Tia to suddenly appear before players, it was known to have happened if she had a reason to do so.
In fact, both ladies had met Tia a couple of times in the past due to their positions and with assisting Tia with certain tasks she assigned them.
"Please sit, join us Tia and have some tea." Oracle said inviting Tia to join them.
"Thank you, princess." Tia replied before sitting down and helping herself to some tea.
"Gosh Tia how many times do I have to ask you to call me Oracle or Alea" Oracle pouted,
Oracle was in fact Alea Keagwyn, 1st princess of the Elves.
"Apologies, Oracle I will try to remember in the future."
"No problem." Oracle said with a smile.
"So, Tia, what brings you here today and what did you mean by" would I like to find out?" Blue Ice asked.
"The human race is facing punishment and not on a light level, here let me grant you a quest and then we can discuss it more after you have read it." Tia said before waving her hand causing a quest window to appear with a familiar noise.
[Quest Notification]
[Help Tia contact John Michaels and discover the level of the Dawnscape city corruption. (Atlantia Unique Quest)]
[It has been discovered that government officials in the human city of Dawnscape have been involved in corruption against one of their own citizens.]
[John Michaels a human male orphan who just went through initiation four months ago has never logged into the game since, after investigation by Tia to determine why this is the case she has become aware that government officials appear to be withholding John Michaels financial support he is entitled to under the Genesis Article and worse yet it is being transferred to someone else for their personal use.]
[Furthermore, John Michaels no longer lives at the address registered on his citizen ID and also the school he goes too has barely any information on him other than he is a student there.]
[Also, the access band he was given at his initiation does not have the call or GPS function making Tia believe that he was given an older model for some reason.]
[Your quest is to go to Dawnscape city and find John Michaels so that Tia can communicate with him via your access band and confirm her suspicions, also find any information on why this has happened and who is responsible.]
[Quest success reward: 1 drop of Ice phoenix blood]
[Quest Failure punishment: Loss of Blood of the Immortal Phoenix Pearl]
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Blue Ice shouted out loud.
"Blue what's wrong?" Oracle asked.
Blue was unable to answer so she just waved her hand and allowed her friend to see the quest Tia just gave her.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" Oracle shouted out loud, something she had hardly ever done as she was a princess.
After a few moments of gathering her thoughts, Blue finally spoke up.
"Tia, are you sure about this?"
"I am, after John Michaels did not log in for four months after completing his initiation, I tried to contact him through his access band, but I was unable to, which leads me to believe he was for some reason given an older model."
"After reading the information on his access band I noticed some peculiarities with his bank account, simply put he never received any of the government funding he was entitled to and the only form of income he receives are way below minimum wage standards and from different companies that are always advertising for work."
"I believe that John Michaels is currently being forced to work underage against the Genesis article's rules in order to be able to purchase food to survive."
"If that's the case then where is he living if he can barely afford any food?" Oracle asked.
"That I am unsure about because his access band does not have GPS, a reasonable guess however would be in the distract humans call 'the slums'."
"What?" Both girls asked again before Blue spoke up.
"Under the Decree of the Empress all slums were supposed to have been done away with and anyone who cannot find work should be receiving financial support."
"That is correct however satellite images show an area in Dawnscape that is reminiscent of what used to be called the slums in the past."
"Also to note there is what appears to be a wooden shack at this location that over the past four months one individual leaves at sunrise and does not return before sunset."
"How awful, how could someone live in such conditions?" Oracle asked sadly.
"Any suspects Tia?" Blue asked, her face hardening with anger after hearing the conditions that John Michaels might be living in.
"Only the entire city council and all his teachers."
"Why his teachers?"
"As mentioned in the quest his school holds very little information regarding John Michaels other than he does attend the school and a couple of test results, if you compare this with any other student, their school file shows all their test scores as well as their teacher reviews and any trouble they got into."
"It almost sounds like they have forgotten about him or ignored his existence." Oracle pointed out causing Blue to nod in agreement.
"What sort of punishment is the human race expecting from this?" Blue asked with a serious look.
"That remains to be seen depending on how deep this corruption goes, if it is purely within Dawnscape city or if it goes further afield."
"At minimum the human race can expect to lose Stone-mist castle."
"WHAT!" Oracle yelped in shock as Blue slouched in her seat unable to speak at the sheer damage this incident had already caused the human race and that was only the minimum punishment.
Stone-mist castle was one of the eight great ocean sieges in Genesis, it was invaluable to any race that held it.
