Chapter 80 Hidden Memories
While holding Elaine tightly, Justin felt a surge of joy within him as he realized she had forgiven him for his past infidelity. He looked deeply into her eyes, searching for any sign of doubt or hesitation, but what he noticed was the distant look in her gaze. Her mind seemed to be preoccupied with something else.
Justin's brows furrowed with concern as he held Elaine at arm's length, studying her face with a piercing gaze. He could sense that something was wrong, and his heart raced with worry.
"Are you alright, Elaine?" he asked in a soft voice, trying to mask the tremble in his words.
"Ahh... I'm ok, " Elaine forced a small smile as she nodded in response to his question, but her eyes kept darting towards something behind him. He followed her gaze, turning his head slowly until he saw Fir staring at them.
"Oh, hey Fir," Justin said, scratching his head. He thought Fir was looking at them because of their display of affection.
"No wonder Elaine was acting a little odd, She might have felt awkward being hugged like that in public." Despite his thoughts, Justin couldn't shake the feeling that something was not quite right.
On the other hand , Fir tried to play it cool.
"Don't worry about me," he said while trying to piece together the information he had just learned about Justin's girlfriend.
"Do I know her? I was able to guess her name, but she doesn't seem to recognize me." He muttered to himself.
"Hey, Justin! We've been looking for you," Zelena exclaimed, her voice ringing out through the otherwise quiet lobby.
"Who's this lovely lady you're with?" Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she looked at Elaine.
Elaine's cheeks turned a shade of pink as she realized that she was suddenly the center of attention. She looked at Justin, unsure of what to say or do, but he simply smiled and put his arm around her.
"This is Elaine," he spoke, his voice filled with pride. "My girlfriend." The words came out with such ease and confidence that Elaine couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth in her chest.
As the rest of the group gathered around them, Justin introduced each of them to her. She tried her best to remember everyone's names, but her mind was still reeling from the encounter with Fir. Still, the friendly banter and laughter of the group helped to put her at ease, and she felt grateful for the distraction.
Unfortunately for her, Zelena suddenly turned to Fir, who was still standing a few feet away, and called out to him.
"Fir, come closer! We want to introduce you to Justin's girlfriend!"
"Alright " he nodded.
Elaine's heart began to beat faster as he made his way towards them. She could feel his curious gaze on her as he approached, and she suddenly felt self-conscious under his gaze.
"Hi, my name is Fir," he said, extending his hand towards her in a gesture of greeting. His beautiful dark eyes locked into hers, and she could sense the intensity of his gaze.
[Elaine Point of View]
I took his hand tentatively, feeling a jolt of electricity run through my body as our skin touched. I tried to hide my shyness behind a friendly smile, but I couldn't help but be mesmerized by him.
"Does he like me?" My heart raced just thinking of the possibility. His intense gaze made me feel like he could see right through my clothing, like he knew my deepest secrets and desires.
As the introductions continued, I found myself unable to focus on the conversation. My mind was consumed with thoughts of him and what he might think of me. Did he checked me out because I'm Justin's girlfriend ? Or was he genuinely interested in getting to know me?
Despite my uncertainty, I couldn't deny the strong pull I felt towards him. There was something about him that drew me in, something mysterious and intriguing. As the group continued to chat and joke around, I found myself stealing glances at him, hoping to catch his eye and spark a connection.
I longed to know more about him, to uncover the secrets that lay behind his enigmatic exterior. His silence only added to his allure, making me all the more curious to unravel the mysteries that surrounded him.
But despite my growing attraction to him, I couldn't deny the tension that simmered between him and Justin. I could feel the jealousy and resentment radiating from my boyfriend, casting a shadow over the lighthearted banter and camaraderie of the group.
As much as I wanted to explore my connection with him, I couldn't help but wonder if it was worth risking the stability of my relationship.

Zelena words jolted Elaine back to reality.
"How about you hang out more with us, Fir? We barely got to know you." Her tone was insistent, almost demanding. She wanted to spend more time with him.
"I don't know about that, Zelena. I think he is busy," Justin replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice. He could feel the way Elaine was looking at Fir, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.
He didn't like the way he seemed to draw attention from her girlfriend, and he was starting to hate the guy.
Fir remained silent, his gaze fixed on Elaine. She could feel the intensity of his stare, and it made her feel both nervous and excited. Despite his boyfriend jealousy, she couldn't help but be drawn to an enigmatic man like Fir .
"It's alright if you have other important things to do" Zelena seemed to sense the tension in the air and changed the subject.
But Fir's response only added fuel to the fire, making the situation even more awkward.
"I would love to join you," he replied with a disarmingly charming smile that sent a flutter through the hearts of all the girls. It was like his very presence exuded a seductive energy that made it impossible not to be drawn to him.
The girls were already captivated by his mysterious aura, but his response only amplified their infatuation. It was like he had a hidden skill of enchanting women, and they were all under his spell.
