Chapter 530: Chapter 530 - Entrapped by Vines, Freed by Daggers
Ivana narrowly dodged the Gorilla Guardian's devastating attack, reappearing mid-air, her body gracefully floating. At the same time, the airborne spirit beast-a hawk-captured the moment on camera, zooming in on Ivana's blonde hair flowing in the wind and her perfectly focused expression. The shot was flawless, instantly grabbing the attention of everyone watching.
"Damn! She is so lit!"
"Ivana, my new favorite waifu!"
"From now on, I declare myself a loyal follower of Ivana!"
"We seriously need to start an Ivana Fan Club ASAP."
"This girl is absolutely precious."
"Who would've thought in this massive battle, a Special NPC would steal the spotlight like this?"
"I'm not downplaying Elincia and Kingsley's performance, but Ivana here seriously took over the show!"
"Ivana, I love you, I love you, I love you!"
Kingsley transformed back into his massive bear form, charging toward the Gorilla Monster with raw, unstoppable power. His strikes landed hard, causing the creature to stumble and lose its balance. This time, the force of Kingsley's attacks was starting to show, but it was clear the battle was far from over-this foe wouldn't go down easily.
From above, a massive black shield spun through the air with incredible speed. It whirled toward the Gorilla Guardian, slamming into its head with a resounding thud, enough to knock the massive creature off its feet, crashing into the ground with a loud, bone-rattling impact. The shield flew back into the air, and Ivana, appearing almost out of nowhere, caught it mid- flight. Gritting her teeth, she wasted no time, darting toward the Gorilla Guardian. With a powerful swing, she brought the shield down onto the creature's head. The resulting crack sent a shockwave through the ground, dust and debris flying in all directions.
This time, Ivana's strike had clearly done damage, her face determined as she held her shield firmly, now visibly leaving an impact on the Gorilla Guardian's head. The tide of battle was slowly turning.
Goldrich shook his head in amazement. "Oh my, oh my... Ivana..." he chuckled. "Did she fight with such finesse when she fought the faeries a few days ago, Starfall?"
Starfall shook her head. "No, not even close," she replied. "Back then, she focused on protecting us, casting her barriers while everyone else fought the monsters. I don't know... but I think it's because of her new shield?"
"Yes, I think the shield is quite remarkable. Who crafted it for her? Was it Broken?"
Elincia, chiming in from afar, responded, "I don't think so. He's been too busy upgrading his weapons. I believe the shield was crafted by a dwarf blacksmith in Deadbay."
"Wasn't he the dwarf who taught Broken about blacksmithing?" Goldrich snickered. "Khi khi khi... Broken really knows a lot of extraordinary people in this game."
"Max! I was holding my breath watching how intense that fight was. Oh, this is truly epic!" Tora shouted hysterically as he watched the battle between Ivana and Kingsley against the Gorilla Guardian.
"Yes, I completely agree," Max replied. "That was an extraordinary performance, wasn't it?"
"Absolutely," Tora responded. "The combination between Ivana and Kingsley against that massive Gorilla monster is really something amazing."
"Can we crown this as the best combat so far in this massive battle, Tora?"
"I want to, Max. But we need to remember, this battle is far from over."
"Oh, come on... I'm sure all the players are motivated by Ivana's arrival. They can turn the tide of this fight. Let's give them some encouragement!"
Elincia and Melliandra were still locked in their fierce battle against the Monkey and the Crow Guardians. Melliandra's final attack managed to shatter the Crow Guardian's powerful magical shield.
"You did it, Melliandra!" Elincia shouted.
"Elincia, now it's your turn! Don't waste my effort!" Melliandra yelled back.
Elincia continued dodging the barrage of magic spheres being hurled at her, before raising both hands toward the sky. She reached into her inventory and used a single-use item, a token that would allow her to cast her spell instantly. Snapping the token in her hand, she felt its power surge through her.
Immediately, the sky darkened, swirling with stormy clouds, as a massive lightning bolt crackled across the horizon and struck the ground with immense force. The bolt hit the Crow Guardian directly, triggering a colossal explosion that shattered windows throughout the city and split the earth beneath them.
The ground shook violently, and every eye on the battlefield turned toward the source of the devastating attack. They all knew-only one person could unleash such destructive power: Elincia.
"Damn, my time's up. I'll leave the rest to you guys," Elincia said before logging out.
In the blink of an eye, Elincia's figure vanished from the sky.
Everyone held their breath, hoping Elincia's devastating attack had been enough to defeat at least one of the Guardians. But to their horror, the Crow Guardian was still standing tall, with only part of its head destroyed.
The Crow Guardian opened its beak and let out a terrifying screech, the sound spreading across the battlefield, a piercing noise that grated in everyone's ears.
"Max... Elincia's time has finally run out!"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"Tora... I think this is a bad sign."
"I hoped her final attack would've taken one of them down, but it seems we're still far from victory, Max."
"This is really bad. Without Elincia, things are about to get even worse."
The Monkey Guardian sprinted toward the Gorilla Guardian and raised its left hand. In an instant, vines erupted from the ground, wrapping tightly around Ivana. They coiled around her, trapping her in a suffocating grip.
Ivana struggled with all her might, but the vines only tightened. Her shield slipped from her grasp and clattered to the ground.
Kingsley saw the danger and immediately charged toward the Monkey Guardian, but the Gorilla slammed its massive fist into him, sending him crashing to the ground with a
deafening thud.
A protective barrier quickly formed around Ivana, encasing her in a shimmering shield. But before she could react, a relentless barrage of magic spheres shot from the Monkey Guardian's staff. The magic missiles struck her shield in rapid succession, each impact followed by a small explosion. The blasts were relentless, and Ivana struggled to hold herself, unable to retaliate as the shield took continuous damage.
Tora's voice trembled with fear. "Oh my God, Max... The two Guardians are ganging up on Ivana... If she dies, I don't know what will happen to the war."
"We really need a miracle, Tora..."
"I'm sure a lot of players are going to be furious if something happens to her. Ivana is so
precious."
Players on the battlefield tried to rush to Ivana's aid, but they were too occupied with their own battles. Some attempted to get closer but were quickly struck down by the intense
combat between Kingsley and the Gorilla Guardian.
Jovina's voice cut through the tension, "Melliandra, hit that Monkey already!"
Melliandra shouted back, "Shut up, bitch! You think I haven't been trying?! That damn Crow is
making it impossible to get a clean shot!"
The Crow Guardian waved its magical staff, and a massive, ominous magical formation materialized above Ivana. The light radiating from it crackled with dangerous energy,
promising to unleash devastating harm.
Jovina slammed her fist on the table. "Damn it! Someone has to save her!"
Everyone in the room stood, eyes glued to the screen.
Suddenly, someone dashed across the battlefield with incredible speed, moving gracefully as
they dodged the magic spheres aimed at Ivana. The figure moved like a blur, swiftly maneuvering through the vines that bound Ivana in mid-air.
With fluid precision, they slashed through the vines with swift dagger strikes, freeing her in moments. Ivana quickly cast her magic shield, forming a protective dome around the small
area.
The figure was landing smoothly on the ground. One thing stood out immediately-her show-white short hair, and her rabbit ears, twitching slightly as the camera zoomed in. The sight of her agile rescue instantly caught everyone's attention.
In the distance, atop the fortress, a woman with short blonde hair and pointed ears pressed two fingers of her right hand to her temple.
"Mira and I have arrived, my Lord. Apologies for the delay," she said. "And I see you've
logged in as well. I've been waiting for your command."
Just then, a notification popped up in the Guild Chat, sending a shock through everyone.
