Journey Towards Greatness

Miror B stares in shock as now all three of his pokemons are down. Even with his Ludicolo's special movements, his opponent's Pokemon was about to take it down.

Miror B 'Shit, I can't afford to lose. Should I really use it?'

He thinks and pulls out a black Pokeball from his ball storage. The ball has a dark, hazy aura around it, giving off sinister vibes.

Julian sees the Pokeball and frowns. He has seen this before and he recognizes the aura. It's the same as the shadow Volcanion he captured back in Kalos from the underworld member.

The Volcanion was so severely damaged from the inside that it still has not recovered. Both its mind and soul were severely corrupted. Luckily, Julian has access to the Omni force, which can fix anything that is damaged.

But for now, Julian is just using it to calm down Volcanion so that it doesn't go into Rampage as soon as it comes out of its Pokeball.

To cure Volcanion of his shadow state, Julian has to learn how to fix a soul itself and no matter how strong Julian is right now, he doesn't have such power at his disposal. Even his system is useless in this matter.

There is also another option, but it involves the power to control time itself. And this is even harder than anything soul-related. Unless he has Celebi or Dialga in front of him, he can't do shit.

As the thought of another Pokemon suffering similar to Volcanion enters his thoughts, Julian gets extremely angry. Not only are these people experimenting with pokemons to strip them of their will but also destroying and corrupting their souls, causing them endless pain.

Miror B "I can't afford to lose,"

He declares and decides to use the Pokemon inside the black Pokeball.

Miror B "I AM NOT GOING TO LOSE!!!"

He declares and throws the black Pokeball up in the air. The Pokeball opens up and black light oozes out of it. The light then shoots down and takes shape.

The black light fades away, and the Pokemon is revealed. A Regirock.

But this Regirock doesn't look normal. Its rocky body is covered in dark miasma, there are cracks all over its body with darkness leaking out of them. Its seven eyes are glowing red.

A dark aura surrounds its whole body, giving it a very sinister aura.

As soon as Shadow Regirock steps foot on the battlefield, it lets out a guttural roar. The roar causes every wild Pokemon in the vicinity to tremble in fear and run away scared.

It immediately starts pounding the ground with its heavy rocky arms. Every strike stakes the ground like mini earthquakes.

Miror B "Regirock, calm down!"

He orders but instead of listening to him, Regirock turns around to look at him and then charges at him.

Miror B's entire being freezes in fear as he sees the heavy rock Pokemon rush toward him. Regirock swings its heavy arm at Miror B and smacks him as hard as possible.

Miror B doesn't even get to scream as he is sent shooting into the air and disappearing into the horizon, never to be seen again.

Regirock senses more lifeform around it. It turns and looks at Julian and sees a very powerful aura around him; It feels that this aura can ease its pain. So to a damaged Pokemon like Regirock, nothing is more appealing.

It roars and charges towards Julian, trying to crack him open and observe the aura that he is releasing. But before it can advance any further, Charizard rushes toward it and meets it head-on.

Charizard slams his whole body into Regirock and stops it in its tracks. He wraps his arms over its right shoulder and under its left arm, trying to wrestle the hulking mass of rocks down.

But to Charizard's surprise, he started getting pushed back. Feeling his legs slipping, Charizard smashes his tail into the ground to get more support.

With three contact points on the ground, Charizard manages to stop Shadow Regirock in its track.

Regirock's attention was all focused on Julian, but now that Charizard is trying to stop it, he has all of Regirock's attention.

Regirock stopped pushing. It suddenly wrapped its rocky hands around Charizard and instantly lifted him off his feet. It channeled energy into its arms and slammed Charizard into the ground using Takedown.

Charizard's whole body is driven into the hard ground back first, the ground caves in and Charizard feels the air being driven out of his lungs.

Charizard is overcome with pain as he grossly underestimates Shadow Regirock's strength.

Regirock is already a very strong Pokemon and with its shadowfication, it has become stronger. On top of that, it is now in a berserk state. It is not going to hold back even one bit. In fact, it might even overexert itself to cause more harm to its opponent and to itself.
