Chapter 171: Chapter 12: Battle With The High Necromancer!
"W-what monster is he!?" The High necromancer watched Lancelot with a face of despair. He had never seen someone move and kill so many necromancers simultaneously, let alone survive his breath and heal a zombie dragon's head.
"Such a monster... irrelevant, he is living flesh! If we return with that sword, we will receive unimaginable rewards."
Raising Kara, Lancelot pointed to the Zombie dragon, smiling at the High necromancer with a strange feeling of freedom and the same sensation he felt the moment he was reborn, standing against those arachnid monsters and fighting with his own body, dodging for dear life and using only his swordsmanship and prowess to crush the enemy.
'I had forgotten myself, too hooked on bloodlines, special abilities... Lancelot du Lac was always about the sword and aiming to be the most powerful swordsman in the universe.'
—Heeeh~ what an arrogant wielder I have, fufu~
'Doesn't the most powerful swordsman need the strongest sword? Now I have you, there is nothing in our way, right?'
—Ah... that!? Hmph! Flattering a devil will get you nothing! Hmph....!
Lancelot chuckled as the zombie dragon's huge body began to ascend into the sky, but he no longer cared—his back expanded into two sets of wings, a black and white pair of angelic wings like a fallen angel had fused with a true angel.
His wings wrapped in ether as he merely stomped on the ground before his body shot into the air like a missile; the ground cracked around him as the dirt was sucked into the air from the shockwave of his speed.
'It seems my body is strange... three pairs of wings, but the two I'm using are enough for now.'
—Yahoo!
"This damn mutant bastard!"
Caladbolg shone brightly as Lancelot flew towards the Zombie dragon.
The high necromancer panicked and controlled the zombie dragon to release a breath, but Lancelot spun his body, rapidly barrel rolling while pointing Kara towards the flames, absorbing the breath, laughing as his body continued to fly forwards, holding the Abyssal Leviathan with both hands.
Seeing Lancelot flying directly at him, the High necromancer ordered the zombie dragon to bite at Lancelot, its jaw snapping and releasing a terrible screech of anger, but Lancelot ignored it, twisting his waist and hips before throwing Kara like a javelin.
The Abyssal Leviathan pierced through the zombie dragon's maw with a sonic boom as Lancelot grabbed the dragon's head with his bare hands, pushing Kara deeper as the necromancer screamed in pain.
Grabbing Kara's handle, Lancelot ripped the Abyssal Leviathan upwards, splitting the zombie dragon's head in half—the high necromancer shouting in rage as evil energy gathered in his hands; instead of healing, he was going to make Lancelot die!
Lancelot smiled as he fell backwards, dragging the sword along the dragon's maw, tearing the entire jaw as they flew downward. "Die!" The enraged High necromancer began to rapidly fire bolts of eldrich magic aimed at Lancelot, each bolt firing at the speed of sound, with great power, both kinetic and necrotic.
Yet Lancelot flipped, dodging each bolt while still falling until the High necromancer stopped attacking due to the sudden realisation that Lancelot was flying under the zombie dragon and had Kara pointed at its throat.
"Haa....."
Twisting his hips and upper body in the opposite direction until he started to feel the pull on his muscles, Lancelot began to spin rapidly as the blade, like a rotating top, shot upwards, forcing the necromancer to leap into the skies to avoid being sliced apart but the dragon zombies head and heart were torn apart as they fell into a lawnmower.
Bang!
The ground cracked, and as the zombie dragon dropped to the ground, Lancelot too felt a sense of exertion due to using too much stamina and ether and fell together with it. Landing on the zombie dragon's corpse, Lancelot's eyes watched the High necromancer land on the ground, clutching his chest as he coughed up blood.
"You... two dragon zombies.... our master.... he will torture all you love... devour those you care for... your women...
territory... troops... everything!" The High necromancer's body flickered with terrifying magic; Lancelot didn't underestimate him; it was just until now the monster had been underestimating Lancelot!
A necromancer's true form was a terrifying undead creature with unlimited regeneration unless hit with holy magic, sunlight, or lightning, destroying their core, but Lancelot had none of these options.
"So annoying... Caladbolg. I know you hate Excalibur and holy shit, but can you deal with this guy?"
—I cannot destroy him...
'Tsk, so annoying...'
—We can devour his power, though, and use it to make us stronger... Hmph... doubting this wonderful Caladbolg!
"It's going to be tough, though, right..." Lancelot whispered as he began to stretch his tired muscles; this huge sword was very hard to use as she was so wilful and constantly tried to make him enraged and go on a rampage.
'Such a lewd sword... who is the woman in those images... she looks pretty though.' Lancelot would see images of himself having intense and passionate sex with a strange demoness or devil with red skin and black hair; it seemed whoever Kara was showing him was into really rough sex...
—Pretty... the first time those words have been used...
—My wielder is right! Oh-hohoho~ my beauty is beyond anything I ever imagined!
'Stop talking... focus.' Lancelot shook his head as he looked at the High necromancer, slowly changing into a disgusting humanoid beast covered in tentacles and rotten flesh.
"Finally revealed your true form..." Lancelot gripped Kara, walking forward with a smile; his feet dragged on the ground, kicking up dust as the necromancer roared with laughter and anger.
"Foolish human! Die!"
"Idiot! Brutal and good old swordsmanship battles are my damn forte!" Lancelot cursed, his sword clanging against the brutal claws and magical tentacles of the necromancer as he twirled using Kara as if she were as light as a dagger.
The necromancer tried to wrap Lancelot in its tentacle arms, but Lancelot used Kara like a shield, blocking and defending them; once they wrapped around her, he sliced them apart using a strike with precision, cutting off the tentacles, but they grew back faster than he could blink, so he focused on defence, waiting for the right moment to strike.
—What are you doing? Kill him! Smash him! Crush! Slice! Slaughter!!
Hohoho~ such a talented wielder... ah... what is this? Why is it so fun?
'Shut up... I told you to focus!'
—Kill! Destroy! Maim! Slash! Chop! Eat!
Devour! Such delicious ether!
'Focus! Stop getting distracted!' Lancelot couldn't understand why Kara was becoming crazier and lustier by the second, and the more she became like a wild horse, the more stamina and ether she drained from him.
As their battle began to intensify, he was also becoming a little unhinged, using his foot to stomp on the necromancer's face while leaping over him, pulling his sword back before he thrust Kara close to fifty times in the space of five seconds, making the back and tentacles of the huge monster into minced meat.
—Haaa~ the way you are so rough... treating me fiercely.... more...slash them! Hold me tighter!
"Shut up... Kara!" Lancelot felt his vision turning red; the more he fought, the more he wanted to bathe in blood and massacre everyone he met, yet the necromancer regenerated fast, and he could barely damage it, but as they fought, the necromancer was beginning to slow down while Lancelot was getting faster.
—!!!
Suddenly, Lancelot sensed danger and used Kara to block a tentacle stabbing at his back, his instincts guiding him as the necromancer roared in rage, trying to grab Lancelot's body, but Lancelot was starting to laugh hysterically as well, enjoying the fight.
—HAHAHAHAHAH! YES! MY WIELDER!
"Fool, you lost yourself to the sword! Now die!" Huge amounts of necrotic magic swirled around the monster's clawed palms as, once again; he prepared a barrage of his Eldrich bolts.
However, Lancelot smiled, his eyes glowing purple as he moved Kara in front of him, and each bolt fired at the speed of sound was absorbed by Caladbolg's runes, her blade gleaming with a black light as she drank the necromancer's ether hungrily, devouring the magic power he threw at Lancelot like a starving wolf.
'Fool... it's called faking it.'
—Eh!? You didn't feel as good as me!?
Despite her protest, Lancelot held the trembling blade, filled with a huge wave of necrotic magic, his arms full of small wounds, and blood seeping from his nose from overusing Kara in the first battle, but he stepped forward, the black light causing the air to vibrate as he slashed downwards, a huge beam emitting from the sword as it cut over fifty metres ahead of him.
BOOOOOOOOOM!
The necromancer tried to dodge, but Lancelot predicted his movements and shifted Kara, cutting the monster in two diagonally as it roared in agony; its body unable to heal the massive gash on its chest as Lancelot walked forward, holding Caladbolg with one hand, preparing to end the Necromancer's life.
"Ugh..." His heart skipped a beat, and he almost fell to his knees.... the sheer excitement of holding this blade was not all an act. Suddenly, his entire body became like jelly... dropping forward, he felt empty.
—Oi! Don't get limp on me now! Cut him... cut him, and we will be fine! You gain essence from each kill! Hurry!
"Hahahaha! My master is protecting me! Hahahahahaha!" The Necromancer, in a putrid state, placed his last tentacle around Lancelot's throat, lifting him in the air and crushing his powerless throat.
Crack!
Lancelot's neck began to creak, the bones in his body almost breaking under the weight of this new sword's power, the amount of pressure almost amplified by ten times when she became excited... He felt the world turning dark... struggling to breathe as a gentle voice sounded from the sky... and the world illuminated brilliance.
"In thy kingdom, I shall protect thy eternal glory!"
Hundreds of holy swords formed in the skies as a beautiful angel, her six wings fluttering with great power as Nuriel's spell activated—Holy Rain of Glory.
Each sword shined with brilliant holy ether as Nuriel watched Lancelot with a gentle smile, her eyes shimmering with emotions as she touched her lips, watching Lancelot struggle and cough.
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Each sword struck the High necromancer's body, destroying his body, tearing apart his regenerating body as if torture, and it wasn't until all six hundred and sixty-six blades struck him that it destroyed the core as he screamed in agony; finally, his body exploded as Lancelot fell to the floor, coughing heavily as he rubbed his neck.
'Fuck... such a dangerous sword... I might break my neck one day!'
—HAHAHAHAHAHA! WHAT FUN! KILL! SLASH! CRUSH! CHOP!
EAT! DEVOUR! Beat that angel and her arrogant big tits!
"Are you alright, my king?"
Caladbolg was kicked aside by the strange Nuriel, who scooped Lancelot into her arms, a warmth like a mother, something different from even Morgana... like the warmth on a cold winter's day...
"Thank you... Nuriel, such bad timing. Missing my cool self..." Lancelot spoke hoarsely as Nuriel giggled, covering her mouth with her hand and stroking his back gently.
"You are always the most amazing to me, My king." With that, she kissed his lips with a gentle peck, softer than Morgana's, as she stared into his eyes before their mouths opened slightly, teasing each other with the tips of their tongues.
—Ah!? Don't kiss that dirty bird... you are my master!! Stop... I am lying in the dirty remains of a necromancer! OI!!!
Come clean me!!
The poor shouts of Caladbolg were dampened by the beating heart and soft lips of Nuriel, who shocked Lancelot as she took the advantage to approach him despite always seeming so cold...
As they pulled apart, the glistening silver bridge between them glowed with holy light, "My King... don't make me worry again... I thought you were dead." Her tears dripped onto Lancelot's cheeks as he stroked her snow-white hair and sighed.
"Sorry... but thank you... I will need to repay you later, okay." Nuriel blushed, nodding as she helped Lancelot stand, and Lancelot picked Kara from the ground, ignoring her protests as Nuriel watched curiously.
"This sword..."
Lancelot gulped, worried she would notice...
"It stinks."
"!?"
—Damn slutty angel, say that again!!!!
