Chapter 153: Chapter 40: Sebastian's Family.
Sebastian looked at me with his stern and usual dandy face before his grainy voice sounded and made me feel a little stupid for getting so excited.
"Young Master... it's just a bank transfer. Why are you getting so excited?"
"...."
Don't ruin this, Sebastian!
"Bank Luxuria Aventus will continue to support Young Master Lancelot as we supported the late Miss Maribeth du Lac."
Manager Vidalis bowed his head in appreciation, showing his sincere gratitude.
"Thank you, Manager Vidalis."
With that, our trip to the bank was almost over—however, because the documents took a while to prepare, it was another half an hour before we were able to leave the actual bank.
Sebastian gave me some advice as it seemed my mother would have most of the finance in a high-interest account while paying a certain amount into it a month, so the money gradually grew larger...
Well, the amount I received after paying the inheritance tax was still more than four million gold. I still think it's ridiculous!
How could mom earn this much before dying, and why did the Emperor take taxes off children inheriting after their parents died... Bastard! Taking my hard-earned money!
It doesn't add up!!
As I was fighting a losing battle in my heart and mind, Sebastian asked me a question as we left the bank.
"I assume Young Master has somewhere he wishes to go before meeting Lady Evaine?"
Lancelot was curious because he wanted to get some nice clothes and a gift for her, but would there be a decent enough suit ready-made at this time? He only had a few hours before they met again...
"Sebastian, your master is in a pinch..."
"Please, do explain, young Master. I am here to help." The old man's experienced face was quite relaxing, as if he had already struggled a thousand battles with his wife!
"I want to wear a high-quality suit tonight, but to get one tailored within an hour or two is impossible, not to mention I want to get a necklace that would suit Evaine perfectly, but are there any exquisite jewellers in the capital? I've never had the money to visit the highest level..."
Sebastian rubbed his chin for a moment in deep contemplation, his face returning to its calm and dignified state before Lancelot heard something surprising!
"Young Master, leave these matters to me! Go ahead and practice how you'll woo Lady Evaine, and choose the place you wish to dine tonight! Get inside my car—I will drive you to the old madame's store."
Madame!? Old Madame's Store!?
Lancelot knew Sebastian meant well, but he shuddered, imagining an old hag and cringing, thinking about a crazy old woman fitting him for a suit! However, he decided to trust this old Knight—he likely had quite a large knowledge. After all, since my mother died, he was helping guard and protect the rank-one elite.
He climbed into the car and sat in the comfy black seat before Sebastian stepped on the accelerator.
"Young Master, hold tight. We are heading to Madam Mercenary Rengellia's shop!"
Madam Mercenary!? Not old!!
Old Knight, you tricked me!!!
Lancelot felt betrayed, but Sebastian kept his serious face as if doing nothing wrong. he stepped harder on the gas and raced through the city. Lancelot felt a sense of danger!
My stomach hurts!!
We arrived in what felt like less than twenty minutes—Sebastian stopped in front of a building called Madame Rengellias' clothing brand.
Lancelot swallowed as he felt this was bad... he got out of the car and walked through the door while wondering whether to complain or punch the old Knight in the gut!
The interior was gorgeous—it wasn't big, but it was stunning, filled with suits of different colours and sizes!
Who is this old lady?
She isn't an orc or human... Lancelot wondered what race she was as a beautiful female elf appeared in front of me.
Long flowing silvery blonde hair, her eyes green like emeralds, but that beauty was impaired by a large scar across her chest and tight muscles that you could never expect an elf to have!
She makes the elves who live in my city look so soft and weak...
"Oh? If it isn't that brat Sebastian finally showing your face here after marrying my little sister?"
Her voice sounds pretty hot, though... Lancelot looked at Sebastian with an evil glare as this elf must be related to Sebastian!!
"Rengellia, I'm sorry my wife won't let me near your family—she knows how violent... ahem! Beautiful you are, and I might be swayed."
This old Knight!! He admitted she was beautiful!!
"You old perv! You better stay away from my sisters! Come on, boy, which suit and jewellery do you need for tonight!?"
Lancelot was dragged to the changing room by Rengellia without hearing Sebastian's reply. The next thing he knew, measurements and adjustments were made!! The elven mercenary had removed all of his clothes before he even realised... this power was beyond anything he had faced in both lives as she seemed to be in a good mood.
"Oho... The little boy Sebastian brought is packing such a brutal top-class orc rod..."
Shut up!! Stop measuring that area with your hands. It'll react to you!!
Lancelot blushed but dared not argue! Rengellia measured and adjusted his clothes in no time, as she had the skill to help mould and shape metals and thread!
Magical particles danced from an old, rusted needle as the various threads and leathers in the store all began to dance around her body. It was a power that didn't suit her rough speaking and slightly vulgar actions—the suit began taking form in minutes...
A black base, with dark blood-red velvet for the collar and inner suit, she even wove monster leather inside the suit to increase its defence, and somehow she knew his insignia! The twin swords and succubus marking... that he chose for his territory...
A mysterious woman I was entranced, almost charmed by her figure...
Her eyes glowed silver as she finished the suit...Such power... this elf mercenary is frightening!
In only fifteen minutes, his suit was complete!!
It fitted him like a glove! Lancelot marvelled at it before looking at Rengellia—he was surprised when the elf mercenary smiled sweetly, changing her whole appearance and calming her mana presence down instantly.
"Hahaha! Sebastian told me a lot about you—he is my brother-in-law, haha. Lancelot du Lac... the son of that woman..."
Rengellia's hand stroked Lancelot's cheek as she walked around his body; the suit was like magic as it began to cover his body slowly, the suit like a living entity as she touched his crotch one last time before he was fully dressed.
"To think that my old drinking partner's son is now a bonafide ladykiller... I guess that thing is what made the princess a prisoner, haha."
Lancelot felt a little awkward, his cheeks red after being sexually harassed by this beautiful elven woman, especially when she emphasised 'that thing'. She laughed loudly while walking towards the jewellery area...
"Choose carefully; women are like monsters—if you piss them off, they'll attack when you least expect it."
The terrifying elf beauty smirked evilly while throwing open a glass box with several necklaces inside—Lancelot stared at her cold sweat rolling down his forehead!
He gulped nervously as his hands trembled, reaching for the different necklaces; each seemed expensive and valuable.
His trembling hand stopped moving as he breathed heavily, thinking of Evaine. Her scent, her warmth...
"Don't worry, that trembling and your feeling of stress is from their magical power—these are something that money can rarely buy, but you just had to be related to both Sebastian and Maribeth."
I want to pick a gemstone that suits her best... forget quality or money...
Lancelot stopped trying to resist the overpowering aura as he took a deep breath—the strange vibrations and pulsating aura began to seep into his body, no longer making him feel constricted or stressed.
It feels like I am submerging into a hot bath... My entire body is wrapped in warmth and guiding me towards something that my body and mind desire...
Rengellia watched as the boy's body became completely relaxed, "this boy... dropping your guard this much..."
Her eyes watched as his fingers grasped a silver pendant with countless strange engravements, both dragon and elven in nature, as the emerald gemstone the size of a small fist was carved into the form of a dragon face embedded into the necklace that would sit between the cleavage of the one he chose.
"Dragon Emerald... that gem is rarer than mithril in these parts..."
Rengellia sighed softly, shaking her head; she didn't stop the boy who held the most expensive piece in the case...
"Let's do him a good deal. I owe his mother too much, and the boy seems destined for even more than her. Fufu, if he can't pay back, I can enjoy that orc club."
Rengellia whispered to herself while grabbing Lancelot's suit lapels and dragging him outside before Sebastian entered the boutique worriedly...
He saw his new Master and nodded slightly—even for him, he was unable to enter while Rengellia's unique mana presence surrounded the shop.
"The young master seems strange?"
"Ah... don't worry, he let those divine armaments completely envelop his body and mind—if it were anyone else, they would have broken by now... this kid is stealing their unique ether and aura, but he's devouring it for his use. strange kid."
"Haha, that's my Young Master!"
"Shut up... or I'll tell my sister you brought a woman here!"
"Ugh...!?"
Rengellia gave a thoughtful glance to Lancelot before pushing his towards Sebastian enjoying his firm, young ass in the process.
"Take him—I will settle the price with him in the future. He has a date, right? Make sure to book a meal and room at this hotel for him—use my name for the best room."
She looked a little strange handing over a black card for the Imperium, but it was something even Lancelot had no idea about.
"He will wake up in about half an hour. I'm going to rest... take care. Brother."
