I Want To Lay the Very Best!

234 – Fours a Crowd

Brandy was in a special kind of heaven.

There were endless drinks, warm partner hugs, and a nice big Coalossal lap to sit in. It was the best seat on the cruise ship to watch the trainer she loved fight a muscled and tanned beauty. She might be a little sticky from Calcine's rather enthusiastic orgasm, but even that, she wore like a badge of honor. Everything was simply perfect right now.

"Freezing the pool was smart, but has Tansy got Agility?” Morgan said, more interested in the match than the comfort. “She's handling it really well."

She sure was. Her grey-furred ears with brown tips flopped about as she skidded around the pool like a professional skater. Saffira grabbed onto her necklace of white bows when she needed her to move her around, but mostly, she was off the leash and moving frighteningly fast. Marina could weather the hits, using a sleek spear made of ice to fend Tansy off from getting to Maple standing on the back of her shell, but any advantage they'd hoped to get by freezing the pool didn't seem to be amounting to much.

"No Agility," Sparky said, still wearing Calcine's chest like a hat. If Brandy was in heaven, then Sparky was on some higher plane. Smiling up a storm as Calcine pawed her up, she said, "She's not got the grace I do to her steps. It's got to be one of her abilities. Brandy?"

As the Trainer, Brandy was expected to be the encyclopedia of Pokémon knowledge, and luckily, she could provide this here.

"Steadfast," Brandy said confidently. “It allows her to treat any terrain as if it were solid ground. It means the ice won't slow her down at all. Saffira has it, too. She's not struggling to skate."

"Good eyes," Calcine smiled, rubbing Brandy and Sparky's hair. "I thought her inheritance had something to do with her abs. Are they just a happy coincidence?"

Brandy nodded and leaned back to elbow Calcine's stomach. "I got mine off you, didn't I?"

"If I recall, you already had those started. I just firmed them up a bit."

Brandy was about to reply when Tansy was smacked hard by an ice spear. The whole crowd gasped as the Rockruff was pitched off her feet by the impact, twisting her body to avoid getting pinned by it. Marina was on her the moment her feet left the ground, ice rising around her feet and crackling over her body. Saffira warded her off, using one of Marina's ice spears to press her back, the ice cracking on her steel corset as she tried to push through Saffira's jabs.

It gave Tansy the moment she needed to regain her footing, exploding in a Tackle that forced Marina back. Tansy tried to follow it up with a Crunch, her fangs glowing with dark energy as she bit out at Marina’s arm, but Marina jabbed her ice spear in Tansy's mouth and pushed her away, leaving her holding it between her teeth like a dog carrying an overly large stick. Tansy's head shook, but she couldn't get her lips free of the ice, and a growl started in her throat.

"Good disable," Morgan nodded. She was watching right by the arena window, hands linked behind her back, the long wings attached to her arms draped along the ground like a vast black cape. "Marina's having to improvise a lot. If she has a Water Move, she can't use it while on her own. I wonder why she got rid of all the water right away?"

Snap! Of course, Morgan was on the same wavelength. Was it a slip-up from Maple?

"Our fight," Calcine said. “I pulled all the ceramic tiles from the pool to use Rock Tomb. It was the only earthy thing in the arena to use. Maple's used her ice to lock it all down right away."

"That's our Maple!" Brandy grinned, "Thinking way ahead how to slow Saffira down. Tansy can't use her Rock Tomb, and I don't think Saffira's Boldore had any earth-summoning moves. Maybe she realized that when she got her third?"

It was so interesting seeing how other teams fought. While they needed minerals around for Calcine to use Rock Tomb, it wasn't required for Brandy's team to be effective. Saffira was suffering more from the lack of it; Tansy had a lot of solid hitting moves, but with no way to pin Marina down, she was left chasing her tail. Meanwhile, Marina had some staggeringly powerful ice moves, but without Mahi and Holly making water for her, she had to rely on what was around.

Maple wasn't doing much, just directing Marina from her back, but she didn't need to. Saffira was getting frustrated trying to break through Marina's defense and repeatedly getting rebuffed.

The commentary had been a gentle background thing, just describing what Brandy could easily follow herself, but eventually, Professor Joan broke in with a dirty laugh. "Much as I'd love to see these two circle each other all day, we're all eager for real action. Shall we ring a bell?"

The crowd roared in response, and inside the room, Sparky joined in. "Yeah, more hotties, please! Watching Saffira run about shirtless is neat, but I want to see some Maple butt."

"Maple knows she's a Rock Ace. She's going to pull Mahi and end this." Calcine said, "Watch."

"No points for stating the obvious," Brandy laughed, leaning up to kiss Calcine's chin. "Morgan's already made our one bad bet."

"Saffira might win!" Morgan huffed, "You'll owe my whole gang chips."

Her gang, was it? That would make getting the Wingulls involved even messier than Brandy had planned. Well, if she got savaged by hot bird ladies, it couldn't be helped; she would just give it her best.

"They're both far too stubborn to bend," Mercury added, "But I can't wait to see those lovely muscles get used. Let's step it up!"

A bell rang over the arena, and both Trainers went right for their belt. A twin crackling of light as two new Pokémon were thrown into the battle.

Maple shouted something as Mahi came out of the light, just as they'd predicted. Her arms were already outstretched, a water blast coming out of her hands with a sharp hiss and splashed all over the forming light of Saffira's Pokémon. Marina snatched out for it, but the water jerked away from her grip.

Saffira's new Pokémon was hard to work out right away. Her form was strange, her limbs and hair bleeding into each other to give her only the rough outline of a woman. Her arms seemed overly thick, and her legs were completely lost in a ball gown dress. Brandy's Compound Eyes picked out a few odd details quicker than everyone else. Her arms weren't as thick as they looked; she was wearing a massive sandstone-colored jacket the same color as her skin with absolutely huge sleeves. She also had more shape than it appeared; her long, dirty blonde hair spilled down to almost wholly shroud her face and make her head look like a mound, two grey eyes glowing in the shadow her hair cast.

Sandygast's posture was a little hunched as Mahi's water flowed into a swirling ball that floated in a small hollow in her chest.

Mahi's dress-like frills fluttered as she took a step back, looking to Maple for guidance as her Water Pulse was just sucked away. Saffira's new Pokémon's chest slowly closes to eat the water ball with one bite. It wasn't a movement powered by muscles; it was more of a mudslide, just pooling down to swallow it up.

Wait. No, she wasn't sandstone colored. She was sand. Saffira hadn't caught a Rock Pokémon on the beach. She'd found a Sandygast.

"Oh shit," Morgan whistled. "She has Water Compact. She can use it to tank Water Moves for Tansy's team and probably has a Move of her own to make sand for Tansy. That's a really good addition to the team. I might actually win this."

Sparky pulled her face back, sulking as she wormed further under Calcine's chest. "I know I was getting along with Ghost types, but I didn't want to see another one! What happened to Saffira being a Rock Ace?"

"She met a Trainer who seemed to be doing just fine without being an Ace," Calcine smiled and stole a squeeze of Brandy's butt. "And was impressed?"

"Ground and Rock types get along well," Brandy said with a giggle, squirming her rear back into Calcine's grabby hand. "Ground and Ghost is a nice bit of spice on top of her usual team. Good on Saffira for trying to handle a bit more."

Maple had adjusted quickly, though. Rather than firing more water at the Sandygast, Mahi slid back to join Marina and summoned water straight into Marina's hands. Their teamwork was exceptionally well practiced, Marina splashed a hand through the water to rain ice shards down on the Sandygast in a dazzling display, peppering Tansy and Saffira, hiding behind her. The Sandygast raised one arm, and the thick sleeve got a glossy sheen as the sand compacted until it was hard enough that the ice bounced off.

"Harden," Calcine called, "Nice move."

"You don't have it?" Sparky snorted. "I feel you hardening all over again with Brandy and me in your lap."

Calcine responded to that by squeezing Sparky until she squeaked happily. It was one way to shut the pest up.

"That Sandygast is their tank. Their team was short one," Morgan said, "She's inexperienced at it though. Look down and ignore the ice storm. Maple's baited their attention."

The glittering ice spray was all a cover. While Saffira's team was distracted from above, they didn't see that Maple had dismounted as they were distracted and had sent herself skating forward at speed. She pounced right on the Sandygast, a cloud of sand kicking up as she pushed back her sandy hair and kissed her full on the lips with both arms flung around her neck. The Sandygast's eyes popped open with surprise, and she flailed in panic as she had to deal with the hot girl suddenly kissing her. Marina slid Mahi along the ice like a Curling stone, and the Goldeen slid past the Sandygast completely unchecked. Water sprayed out from her dress and down her arms, rushing out in a wave to soak Tansy and Saffira with a meaty slap of water on flesh that made the crowd gasp.

The Sandygast tried to flail back and catch the water up again, but Maple clung tighter and kissed her with renewed enthusiasm until her sand arms began drooping.

That was the issue with Pokémon; no matter how strong they were, everyone had a weakness to a pretty human woman trying to press their tongue down their throat.

Saffira had a better chance than they had all thought, but only if she stepped up and proved she was every bit the trainer Maple was and it seemed that Maple really wanted this.

She was getting sand everywhere.
