Chapter 25: The Talented Girl with Magic

After the meal, Anthony invited Charlot to the living room for a chat.

As for Nancy, she was busy cleaning the kitchen, after which she took Tina to play in the toy room.

“Charlot, would you like coffee or tea?”

“Tea!”

“Okay, wait a moment.”

Anthony nodded slightly and stood up. Then, he took out a box of beautifully packaged tea leaves from a cabinet on the side.

He poured water to boil the tea leaves. The process was repeated to brew his tea.

“This is milky black tea from the Boers Mountain. Try it, Charlot.”

He thanked Anthony upon taking the teacup.

The black tea tasted soft and had a mellow fragrance.

Charlot was not a person who knew much about tea, but she could still feel that the tea must be of a high quality!

As Anthony poured himself a cup of tea, he smilingly said, “To be honest, Nancy and I both work in the World Alliance. I’m a lieutenant in the army, while Nancy is the president of the House of Representatives. Recently, your name has been circulated widely throughout the World Alliance!”

Upon hearing that, Charlot smiled faintly.

“I didn’t expect the two of you to be so amiable despite being in high positions!”

“There’s no such thing as high positions. It’s just a job.”

“A higher position requires a greater responsibility. If I can live with Nancy and Tina Forever in peace, I am willing to give away my status or power.”

Charlot nodded. He agreed with that.

He also wanted to marry a girl he liked and have a beautiful son or daughter.

As Anthony took a sip of tea, he straightened his back slightly.

Anthony smiled and replied seriously, “I’ll call you principal Charlot from now on. Haha!”

“Does that mean that one needs to graduate from high school in order to study at the Magic Academy?” asked Anthony.

Charlot nodded.

“There should be an opening for magic teaching for these two groups in the future, but the first batch will only recruit high school and university students!”

“Are there any exceptions?”

Anthony looked into Charlot’s eyes and asked slowly.

The exceptions were the old people and nurses at Palmeira Nursing Home and the other candidates approved Charlot.

“If I’m not wrong, you want to ask me if I can let Tina enter the Academy of Magic, right?”

Anthony nodded heavily upon hearing the question.

“Charlot, Tina really loves magic. Moreover, as a parent, I want to give her a higher starting point. I hope you can understand that! I invited you here to find out whether that is possible. I didn’t mean to force you or whatsoever, so please don’t get me wrong.”

As Charlot nodded, he answered, “I understand. Tina is a cute, smart child. If it weren’t for the fact that she’s not old enough, I would definitely hope that she could enter a magic academy. But she’s too young.”

After pondering for a few seconds, Charlot said, “How about this, I can give little Tina a chance. Later, I will test her magic talent. If she meets my standard… then I can let her study at the Academy! And I will teach her personally!”
