Harem System: Spending Money On Women For 100% Rebate!

Chapter 150 A Breakthrough.

Ella was worried about her love life and began to wonder if she would ever find a man as kind as Kyle. It wasn't like they were retrieving wealthy men from a store.

Jane struck gold and Ella found herself wanting a man just like Kyle.

The fact that Kyle was yet to hit on her was proof of his commitment to her friend.

She never caught him looking at her either but did she deserve such bliss?

Ella was aware that Jane attracted that kind of man because of how pure her soul was even though Clarence was lurking around for a piece.

She attracted an angel and a devil but in this case, the angel was the one who won.

Ella was beginning to think that Kyle was too good to be true, there was no way that Kyle was without flaws even though she hadn't seen it herself.

But Ella recalled their conversation about him seeing other people and how he brushed it aside.

He didn't answer but also gave nothing away so she couldn't read him.

Ella hoped in her soul that he wasn't, she had spoken to Jane a couple of minutes ago about sending him pictures.

Ella asked what kind of pictures but Jane never told her as she was too embarrassed to reveal them.

The fact that Jane was willing to go this far told her that they must have taken that step already.

"Jane, I hope you know what you're doing," Ella muttered under her breath, aware that she was the kind of girl to put all her eggs in a single basket.

She gave it her all but something told Ella that Kyle was hiding something.

He hadn't explained how he found Jane when the police couldn't and more so, how he was able to kill Clarence who was no stranger to murder.

There was no way that he should be able to catch him off guard or even overpower him.

However, Jane didn't tell her the full details and this included the attempted sexual assault.

Kyle saved her life, that was what should have mattered but what if he was a greater evil?

This was a thought that she pushed to the back of her mind.

There was no doubt that this would have adverse effects but she understood that it was one of those things that could very well be a product of her imagination.

He was her ideal man so her subconscious was trying its hardest to disqualify him otherwise this might cause problems in the future.

She arrived at the JPD Agency because Isabella had summoned her.

Ella didn't know what for as they already paid her for her performance in the nightclub.

An impressive $20,000. That was more than anything they had made as the band shared the money amongst themselves.

It was a positive showing for a few hours worth of work, they finally could see a future with the band. Stay updated through empiren/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Passion was good but it didn't pay the bills and that was a reality the other members were slowly accepting.

However, Ella refused to give up because this was the only thing she had, the only thing she loved.

It was how she coped with life.

She walked into Isabella's office and she couldn't understand how a lady could have such a powerful aura.

"Ella, wonderful performance once again. I didn't know if this could work but after your performance, I have gotten inquiries about your service," Isabella got right to it, gesturing for her to sit.

Ella gulped, this was all surreal and she couldn't believe that it was happening.

"Thank you for giving me a chance. My service?" Ella questioned, she needed more clarity on what she meant by this.

"Yes! Your service, I have gotten requests to ask about how much it was to book you," Isabella said, pausing as if she were waiting for Ella to give her an answer.

"My rates? It is usually $4,00-!" Ella was cut short by Isabella, who spoke over.

"I told them it is $100,000. That is the value of your service," Isabella jotted something down on a piece of paper.

" $100,000?! What the fuck!?" Ella thought to herself despite this reaction not reflecting on her face.

She couldn't believe that her services were going that high.

But who was going to pay? There was no way anyone would be willing to pay that much for a couple of newbies to perform because they weren't even paid that much for the nightclub.

"Here…" Isabella slid the paper she was jotting on moments ago.

Ella looked down and realized it was a check for $150,000, looking up at Isabella in confusion.

"That is the fee for your service at the club," Isabella informed her. In truth, this wasn't how they planned to pay every artist under them but Ella was their first so she was getting that full attention.

She was going to be the person to introduce this service to the world and the potential she had shown so far told Isabella that she was the real deal.

Ella didn't know what to say, she thought the $20,000 was her payment but she was wrong.

Ella tried her best to hide her shock but the tears that streamed down her cheeks had other plans.

She couldn't believe this because this was life-changing money.

The fact that Kyle had little to do with the amount paid showed that Isabella was impressed by her performance to this extent.

And with Ella in the spotlight, there was a chance that others would try to steal her and it wouldn't be a good look for JPD if they lost their artists so easily.

They had to make sure she was comfortable to stop this from happening.

Isabella didn't say a word because she understood how this situation could be emotional.

It wasn't easy trying to make a living in these parts, she would know as she was nearly a victim.

Isabella nearly lost it all, it was Kyle who saved her dream.
