Chapter 255: A New Way

" Well, There should have been something that my grandfather left behind. But, I don't know where to find it." Wen Ran sighed.

  " He left a clue saying- When misfortune befalls, Seek the guidance of the ancestors." Wen Ran muttered. 

" I don't know what it means. That's one of the major reasons why this place regressed so much."

" Oh, No wonder." Yang Shi nodded.

" But, I must thank young master Yang. If not for your guidance, I might have really sold this restaurant. " Wen Ran suddenly got up as he bowed before Yang Shi.

" As long as you work hard, reviving this place will be much easier than you think." Yang Shi smiled as he waved his hands.

After a hearty meal, they got up to leave. Bai Ruxue was already tired after wrestling with Yang Shi. So after eating, she directly went to sleep. Yang Shi went back to forge more weapons.

" This won't do. At this rate, my production won't able to keep up with selling." Yang Shi frowned. Even he can forge faster than any Master rank forger, there is still a limit.

" Hmm, Smelting the ores takes almost half the time of forging. If I can reduce it" Yang Shi pondered. After a while, an idea came to his mind as he laughed.

" Smelting ores and making billets, eh?"

  Yang Shi smiled as he started forging. His Spirit flame raged as the Metal qi fused in it. It gave bright golden sparkle like molten gold.

After an hour, Yang Shi made a huge furnace. It looked simple, but its weight was more than five hundred kg.

" This furnace should be ok." Yang Shi thought a he poured a large amount of ores in the cauldron. Yang Shi circulated the Great Yang Solar Flame art to its maximum degree.

  The Fire qi raged in his meridian as Yang Shi's Spirit flame became bigger and clearer. The furnace heated as the ores inside it started to melt.

" I should make billets beforehand. After making billets, Making weapons out of them will be easier." Yang Shi spoke. " Hmm, Let's go with four types of billet."

" Heavy billet for heavier weapon like heavy sword or armor, Feathery billet for Lighter weapons, Flexible billet for flexible weapon and This will be the Treasure billet."

" Only if I were to forge something important, I will use this type of billet." Yang Shi nodded. 

Soon enough, the large amount of liquid metal bubbled in the furnace as Yang Shi started to use his Metal qi.

  " Gold Devil Seal! Metal Manipulation!" Yang Shi chanted as his Gold Devil Seal hone with golden rays.

His Gold Devil Seal already went past the third layer as it became Yang Shi's most powerful helper.

It gave Yang Shi the Embryonic Gold Devil Body. With this, Yang Shi can control metals and Metal qi to a certain extent.

  To be more frank, his ability currently can be considered similar to someone from the X-MEN series.

" Although I can't control solid metal as I wish, if it was in a liquid or gaseous state, I can utilize them quite a bit." Yang Shi chuckled.

The liquid metal bubbling in the furnace rose as it suddenly separated into many parts.  Yang Shi clenched his fist as he shouted,

" Condense!"

The liquid metal pieces wobbled as they suddenly solidified into brick shapes, Then they fell on the ground making a Thud sound. Be its shape or size, or color, there were thirty six identical billets on the ground.

" Alright, The Heavy billets are ready. Let's go for another two." Yang Shi wiped his sweat as he started to make Flexible billets and Feathery billets.

In six hours, Yang Shi made a hundred and eight billets. That means the one hundred and eight weapons. He also made some weapon molds along with the billets.

" Well, I need to liquefy the billets and pour them into the mold. Then I will simply inscribe the Spirit Diagram over them. Hehe, In this way, it will twice the result at half of the effort." Yang Shi smiled.

After he finished his forging, he still had a lot of time. So he took out his talisman brush and a bunch of yellow paper. He dipped the brush in the ink as he started drawing on the yellow paper.

" Let' s make a rank one Fireball Talisman." Yang Shi muttered as he activated his Celestial View. His soul qi poured in the brush as he started inscribing the Fireball talisman.

Each of his strokes was drawn meticulously. Yang Shi's face gleamed with sweat as his soul qi diminished rapidly. 

Yang Shi persisted even though he was filled with mental fatigue.

  As he was making his last stroke, his hands trembled as his eyes closed in pain. 

Yang Shi realized that his soul qi exhausted completely.

  Before he could finish the talisman, he stopped abruptly, making the talisman paper ruined.

" Fuck, My soul qi isn't enough to make a rank one talisman." 

Yang Shi sighed as he looked at the Perception Stone. " Do I need to use it?" He wondered.

" Wait a second. Perception stone contains soul qi naturally. However, it is so turbid that living beings can't absorb it, not directly at least." Yang Shi thought inwardly.

  " But what if" 

Yang Shi clenched a Perception Stone as he activated his Crimson Lily primordial spirit.

A crimson ring appeared behind him as Yang Shi focused its power on the Perception stone. 

Yang Shi could feel an invisible energy was getting sucked by the crimson ring as it poured into his dantian.

He activated his Internal energy as he tried to refine the impurity from the invisible energy, His Internal energy was very unusual. It works like a whetstone for all sorts of qi.

With Internal energy, Yang Shi can discard impurities from any sort of energy and absorb only the purest form of energy. The Internal Energy rolled in Yang Shi's meridian as it slowly refined the invisible energy.

Yang Shi could see thin strands of white qi, which got refined from the invisible energy. The white qi was like strands of hair, which swiftly got absorbed by his soul.

" Eh? EH?!!!" Yang S hi's facial expression changed as his soul quietly absorbed the white strands. Yang Shi could feel his soul grow slightly.

  Although its effect was lower than Mind Calming Pills, Yang Shi was absolutely thrilled to find this.

  He laughed madly as he clenched a bunch of Perception stones as he absorbed them greedily.

He was astounded to find that he could absorb soul qi from Perception Stone. Normally, the cultivator can't absorb soul qi from perception stone.

  But there is a type of stone which I called Soul Stone. It can easily help cultivators to absorb soul qi. But Soul Stone is far too rare, even rare than rank six pills.

" But for me, Every Perception  Stone is a miniature version of Soul Stone. With enough supply of Perception stone, I don't believe that I won't able to heal my soul." Yang Shi laughed.

Using soul qi from Perception Stone is better than using low grade soul healing pills. Eating too many pills might affect his body.

But soul qi from Perception stone doesn't have any harmful content. He can absorb Perception stones as many as he wants.

" I have to buy a large amount of Perception Stone tomorrow." Yang Shi decided.

" Hmm, since I have already found a way to repair my soul, I should start cultivating a Soul Cultivation technique."
