Chapter 6206: Descended Demon God
Chapter 6206: Descended Demon God
“A god?” Li Xian stared at the giant in a daze.
“Old World doesn’t have true gods.” Orchidcore said seriously: “Gods are usually just the physical manifestations of the dao conjured by emperors and desolate gods.”
“Well, they themselves are gods in the mind of lesser beings.” Princess Chen said.
“So what is this thing if not a god?” Li Xian said.
“Amitabha, Samsara Gaze!” Monk Zhu placed his palms together and became resplendent. He closed his eyes before tracing his fingers above the eyelids.
“Buzz.” His eyes became larger and rounder like that of a sacred Buddha.
The others also activated their heavenly gaze to take a closer look.
“Looks like the real thing, not an illusory summon.” Orchidcore and the others concluded.
“Illusory Break!” Monk Zhu didn’t give up and gathered more energy. The beams from his growing eyes illuminated the god.
Alas, it was as real as could be.
“Fiends, show yourselves!” The monarch became bolder after the summoning and yelled at the tornado.
It still ignored him.
“Have it your way then!” He raised his wooden sword and ordered: “Great God, please slay this evil tornado!”
“Boom!” The god swung his golden hatchet against the tornado - a slash powerful enough to split the residence in two.
“Such incredible power!” Orchidcore shouted.
“It’s real too!” Princess Chen added.
All four could see that the power of this swing exceeded their full potential.
“Not my clan!” Li Xian, on the other hand, worried about something else.
“Bam!” However, the hatchet only struck the tornado alone.
This still wasn’t enough to force the tornado to show its true form.
“We underestimated it.” Orchidcore murmured.
“How did he do it, turning a bean into a god.” Princess Chen became curious.
“Amitabha, gods do not exist in Three Immortals. This isn’t one.” Monk Zhu said.
“So a foreign god?” Orchidcore asked and the group ruminated this issue.
“Oh?” The monarch picked up a fried centipede and placed it inside his mouth.
“I want to eat it...” Mu Hu complained.
However, the monarch didn’t eat it but seemed to be reciting something like a curse, opening his mouth as wide as possible.
“Rumble!” After loud detonations, a centipede flew out and grew dramatically in size.
Its lower half still came from his mouth, quite a creepy scene. Eventually, it had the size of a great dragon with countless legs.
“What the hell is this?” Princess Chen found its appearance nauseating.
“This is his witchcraft?” Orchidcore said softly.
He finally believed the monarch - that this witchcraft art was a mysterious path.
“How come this didn’t happen when I ate one?” Mu Hu asked a silly question.
“Buzz.” The centipede opened its eyes, resembling two blood lanterns. It released its own yin winds with a terrifying stench.
The group wondered which was more terrifying - the unknown tornado or this centipede.
“Descended Demon God, please destroy this fiend.” The monarch swung his sword and asked humbly.
The draconic centipede immediately rushed for the tornado, coiling around it while roaring furiously.
“A type of centipede demon?” Princess Chen asked.
Cultivators have seen demons before. The latter reached the dao and could obtain great forms with it.
However, this centipede used to be a fried shell. Did a demon god take over the shell? Was this a tool for summoning?
