Chapter 121 Emotions.
Mykel found not only one but two objects after Elena, and he went to check another castle. This time it was in the shape of a pyramid, and it was empty with nothing inside, but Amaryllis wanted them to bring it back. Manna and the others also found one, and they brought it with them because they believed it was important.
"All the Dukes of Hell have been killed?" Elena asked.
"Amaryllis just told me that Manna and the others had killed the last one. Now she wants us to meet and gather at the altar," Mykel answered as he nodded his head. "She will summon all of us there, so let's just wait until she arrived at the location," Mykel continued as he sat down on an empty throne and lit his cigarette.
"If Luciel, Beldathiel, and Anathiel aren't on the second layer, are we going to the third layer right away?" Elena asked.
"Of course. We need to find them as soon as possible and prepare for the next step," Mykel nodded his head as he puffed the smoke. "The deeper we go, the smaller the world is, so it won't take that much time. Let's just be cautious because it's going to be a different league from this one," Mykel explained.
Elena hummed with understanding and she looked around the throne room. She still couldn't believe that demons had good taste in art and architecture. She didn't know that demons had been roaming on Earth since it was created, and the fact demons helped humanity was a surprise.
"They have arrived, let's go," Mykel said as he stood up.
A portal appeared right in front of them, and they walked in since it was Amaryllis' portal. Everyone had gathered at the altar, and they saw a gate that led to nowhere since they could see around it.
"What's this? Is this supposed to lead somewhere?" Aurea asked as she opened the door and nothing happened.
"We haven't killed all of them, we still have one," Amaryllis said as she looked at Kiersha. "Do you still have the head with you?" Amaryllis asked.
Kiersha opened her arm at her serpent's mouth, and then the serpent threw up the head. She then tossed the head to Amaryllis, and then Amaryllis lit it with [Holy Flame]. The moment the head turned into ashes, the altar was cracked and a fierce earthquake came after.
All the cracks were leading to the gate, and the moment all the cracks met in the middle, the gate broke down. A gap appeared under the gate and it fell as they heard screams and whistles coming from the gap. The gap became wider and wider until they could see the world underneath, the second layer of hell.
The Limbo world was hot enough for them to feel the heat, but the second layer was hotter. They could feel the heat that struck their faces and the pungent smell that came together with it.
"Before we go, can I have all the objects?" Amaryllis asked as she looked at everyone with her head tilted. "I want to examine them," Amaryllis continued as she smiled gently.
An octahedron, a cube, a pyramid, a sphere, a prism, and a tetrahedron of objects that radiated different colors. Green, red, blue, pink, yellow, and purple made them all look like expensive collections.
Amaryllis told them about what those were, and each color represented one of the sins. Green was Envy, Pink was Lust, Yellow was Greed, Red was Wrath, Blue was Sloth, and Purple was Gluttony. The only ones that had been manifested were Wrath, Sloth, and Greed, the rest were still empty.
"There are only six of them, how about Pride? Did we miss one?" Jeanne asked as she looked at Amaryllis.
"No, it's the opposite. Nobody can recreate Pride because there's only one being who has that, and that's Lucifer. They can't create Pride since they don't know how to make one since they don't have Pride inside them," Amaryllis answered as she looked at the six objects floating in front of her.
"But only three of them have been manifested, why do you need the other three? Isn't that just an empty shell?" Vincze asked with his eyebrow raised.
"No, this thing is special. You can say this is something ungodly, they're so precious since it was impossibly hard to create these objects," Amaryllis answered as she grabbed the octahedron. "Not only that, these objects can put our emotions inside," Amaryllis pointed out.
"And what's the purpose of doing that?" Sven asked.
"Once emotions have been accumulated inside these objects, they can be transferred and turned into an unbelievable power of the emotion. It's basically like creating your own skill and nurturing it until it becomes something extraordinary," Amaryllis answered. "I want to learn about this, and perhaps I can make something new. Something original that might help us in the future," Amaryllis continued.
Mykel found it interesting because if Amaryllis could use those objects and the [Nurturing] feature that she had, the possibilities would be endless. He wanted to try it out himself once they found Luciel, Beldathiel, and Anathiel because he was intrigued by it.
"I have put them in a safe place, we can go now," Amaryllis said after she put the objects into the novel world.
"So, the second layer, what kind of world is it?" Aurea asked as she stood on the edge of the hole and looked at it.
"Lust," Mykel answered as he walked toward the hole.
"Asmodeus? Is this world belong to him?" Aurea asked.
"Not sure, we will find out once we go down there," Mykel answered and the pungent smell became worse than before. "Once we go down there, we will be using the same formation. If any of you are in trouble, immediately notify me or Amaryllis. The second layer is supposed to be a lot harder than here, so be careful," Mykel said as he looked at them.
They all nodded with understanding, and then they all jumped into the hole and went their separate ways. Amaryllis on her own since she had to scan the whole layer first, and then she would give an update to everyone. Read new chapters at empire
This time they could see people being tortured everywhere for their sin of lust. It was unpleasant for them since they saw how people were stacked in a pit naked and being cooked alive. They were in heat all the time when they were alive, and now they were heated and cooked for eternity. Their fat and fluids were filling the pit, and those fluids and fat fried and boiled them over and over.
They saw people with dirty and stained white robes and a helmet to cover their heads and faces. They were the ones who tortured the sinner, and surprisingly they weren't demons, they were lesser angels. Those lesser angels didn't care about Mykel's and the other's presence since their task and only purpose was to torture the sinner.
"This is more like hell than the previous one, but so far, we haven't seen a single demon here, what's happening?" Elena asked as she flew and looked down at the people being tortured.
"Because all the demons are gathered in a few places. Remember what Amaryllis said? The second and third layers are ruled by the Kings of Hell. We just have to confirm from the information that Amaryllis got from Barbatos is still valid or not," Mykel answered and flew beside Elena.
"Speaking of the devil, it looks like she has confirmed the whole second layer, but she hasn't confirmed if Luciel and the others are here in this place," Elena said after she saw the mini-map in her vision.
"It's fine, but this time we aren't going to kill them. We are going to send them up to the Limbo world," Mykel said as he looked at the mini-map and saw the territories that the Kings of Hell ruled. "We are going to force them to leave, and let them know that the two worlds have been connected," Mykel continued and then flew toward one of the kingdoms.
Mykel and Elena landed right in front of a giant gate where they could hear screams and moans from behind the wall. They didn't have to check what was going on behind the wall since they already knew what was going on inside.
Mykel activated his [Arcana Judgement] skill and all the screams and moans disappeared in an instant. He then kicked the gate open, and when they looked inside, they saw men and women raped by demons.
"That must be painful," Elena asked as she glanced at the men and women on the ground with blood on their thighs and asses. "Those things are big as a horse's dick, no wonder they were screaming like that," Elena looked at the demons who were crawling in fear.
Mykel ignored the demons and kept walking to where the castle was, but he saw the same scenery on every corner of the street. Once he entered the castle, they saw more men and women than on the street, and they were too weak to even move their bodies.
"Do you mind if I join you guys?" Amaryllis asked as she appeared right behind Mykel and Elena.
"Perfect timing. There's something I would like to try," Mykel said as he walked up the stairs toward where the strong presence was.
"Try something?" Amaryllis asked as she tilted her head.
"These demons here aren't bound by the system, right? I wonder if you can try to mess with their heads and give them orders to attack Earth," Mykel answered and saw a big door at the end of the hallway.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"That's possible. In fact, I might be able to do something more than that," Amaryllis said as she nodded her head. "I can make them ours, and I can control them like puppets," Amaryllis added.
"That's perfect," Mykel smirked.
