Chapter 30: Chapter 30
"I see," I said, nodding as I realized how obsessed Reverse-Flash was with the Flash. The guy came all the way from the future just to mess with him like he couldn't live without being in the Flash's life.
That made me think of my ex-wife. Maybe she was just as crazy about me, hurting me as her own messed-up way of showing love, as Reverse-Flash does to the Flash. What a crazy bitch. I have to figure out a way to kill her so I can move on from all this crap.
"So... what are you doing here?" I asked, watching Reverse-Flash struggle to vibrate through my telekinetic hold. It wasn't happening, of course, but I was curious about his powers. He got his speed from something called the Negative Speed Force.
The Negative Speed Force was the opposite of the normal Speed Force. It gave him some cool abilities, like stealing speed from others. Well, technically, the normal Speed Force could do something similar, but it wasn't stealing, it was more like turning the speed off for someone. "The future changed because of this event. I just came back to have some fun," Reverse-Flash said casually. I nodded and let him go. No point in being a jerk about it.
"Wait, you're letting him go?" Rogue asked, watching him take off.
"Yeah," I said. "I don't like to get in other people's business. Besides, with how strong I am, it wouldn't feel fair to take sides. I don't want to tell people how to live or make them follow rules just because I say so." Everyone stared at me for a moment but didn't argue. They knew I had a point.
"Okay," I said, turning back to the group. "Go ahead, ask your question. But if it's for my number, sorry to disappoint. I doubt you can call me across the multiverse." I smirked, and Power Girl rolled her eyes.
"You were created using the DNA of Doomsday and other aliens, right?" she asked.
I nodded. "Sort of. Lex is smart, but all he did was set things up so I could be reborn," I said with a grin.
"Do you think you're perfect?" she asked. Everyone looked at me like my answer was going to decide something big.
"In some ways, yeah, and in some ways, no," I said. "I'm perfect because I know I'm not, which means I can always get better. But at the same time, perfection doesn't really exist, it's just an idea." My answer made a few of them stop and think, which was funny to watch.
Power Girl was about to ask another question when a sudden explosion of gamma energy stopped her. It shook the multiverse, and everyone turned to look.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
The Hulk was struggling to hold back his rage. He looked furious like he wanted revenge for something terrible. But now? He was stuck in this new world. A comic world.
"He's looking a little green," I said, which got me some annoyed looks. I shrugged. It wasn't my fault I thought it was funny. Everyone else started moving, trying to stop the Hulk before things got worse.
"Wait," I said, narrowing my eyes. "Someone's absorbing all that energy." The others looked and saw Thor, who was pulling in the gamma energy. He was trying to stop it from turning others into monsters, but the energy started changing him instead.
"A Hulk-Thor? Really? This is starting to feel like bad fan fiction," I said. No one laughed. They were too busy staring at the now-green Thor, whose glowing eyes locked onto me.
"Bring it, big guy," I said with a smirk, pushing Rogue out of the way as I powered up into my True Saiyan State. I waved him over. This wasn't the same Thor I'd seen a minute ago. This was something else, way stronger.
BOOM
Before I could even react, Thor's hammer slammed into my face, shattering the space-time around us. He wasn't holding back. Each strike came faster, heavier, his rage pushing him to unimaginable heights. Blood flew from my mouth, splattering across the fractured battlefield below. For a moment, I was forced on the defensive, evading and blocking as best I could against the relentless barrage.
It was a struggle. Every blow he landed pushed me closer to the edge, closer to losing control. My Saiyan instincts clawed at my mind, demanding I let loose and fight with everything I had. But I resisted, knowing the destruction it could cause. Yet with every swing of Mjolnir, every blast of gamma energy, I could feel the dam cracking.
Thor roared, his aura flaring as he drove the hammer into my side, sending me skidding backward. My teeth clenched as the Saiyan within me screamed for release. My blood boiled, my muscles tensed, and the primal hunger for battle surged through me. Finally, I couldn't hold it back anymore.
With a guttural roar, I let go.
My hair erupted into a blazing green inferno, and my aura exploded outward in a tidal wave of energy that tore through the multiverse. The fragile threads of reality began to unravel as I ascended to Legendary Super Saiyan, my power surging far beyond what even I could comprehend. Space-time fractured under the sheer force of my transformation, ripping us from the collapsing multiverse and hurling us into the chaotic expanse of the 6th dimension. The new battlefield was infinite and surreal. Colors bled into each other, stars drifted aimlessly in a sea of fragmented realities, and massive storms of cosmic energy churned in the void. None of it mattered. My mind was gone, consumed by berserk instincts. All I could see was my opponent. All I wanted was to fight.
Thor stood firm, his gamma-charged aura blazing brighter than ever. Mjolnir crackled with energy as he gripped it tightly, his glowing green eyes locking onto mine. I saw it, hesitation, the flicker of doubt creeping into his expression. He could feel the shift, the widening gap between us. But doubt only enraged him further, and his wrath surged, pushing his power to greater heights.
"You've made a mistake," Thor growled, his voice a thunderous echo as he charged, swinging Mjolnir with unrelenting fury.
I met him head-on, my fist clashing with his hammer. The collision sent shockwaves rippling across the 6th dimension, shattering floating landmasses and scattering cosmic debris. Thor roared as he pressed forward, his strikes fueled by raw anger, but I was no longer just fighting. I was evolving.
With every clash, my strength grew. Thor's power rose with his wrath, but mine seemed limitless, escalating with every second of battle. My berserk instincts adapted to his movements, analyzing and countering with terrifying precision. His strikes became predictable, and his defenses became slower. I wasn't just fighting, I was learning.
"You can't keep up," I growled, my voice distorted and monstrous. I ducked under his hammer swing and drove my knee into his chest, shattering his armor. Thor stumbled, coughing, but I gave him no time to recover. I rained blows upon him, sending him rocketing off into the void.
Thor rose again, his aura flickering but defiant. He raised Mjolnir, summoning a massive storm of gamma energy. The lightning struck wildly, tearing through the battlefield as he poured every ounce of his power into the attack.
But it wasn't enough.
As I surged forward, I let out a feral roar, my aura flaring brighter than ever. His gamma- charged hammer swung toward me, but I caught it mid-swing, my berserk strength overwhelming even the enchanted weapon. With a snarl, I ripped it from his grasp and hurled it into the void. Thor barely had time to react before my fist slammed into his chest, sending him hurtling through the chaotic expanse.
By the time he stopped, his green aura had faded. His body slumped, and Mjolnir lay forgotten in the distance. He was out of power, his gamma strength drained. Thor groaned, barely able to lift his head, as he returned to his normal form.
The battle was over.
But for me, it wasn't.
I let out another roar, louder, more primal, the sound shaking the 6th dimension itself. My berserk state hadn't faded, it had only grown. My aura pulsed violently, casting a green glow across the broken battlefield as I turned my gaze toward the distant 3rd dimension.
A wicked grin spread across my face, cruel and unrelenting. My Saiyan instincts demanded more, and my hunger for battle was insatiable. I flexed my fists, my glowing eyes narrowing as I focused on the fragile multiverse below.
"More," I growled, my voice dripping with bloodlust. The 6th dimension trembled around me, as if it, too, feared what I had become.
