Chapter 19: Chapter 19



"Nice, you went to steal and ended up coming back with everything," Rose said while looking at the bottle of sand. This was the sand of time, and that bottle was built to contain that sand as anything else would just age right out of existence.

"Wo, who said I went to steal? I only steal if it means I avoid taking up tasks and such things." I said offended by her even thinking I would steal. I only stole from the president because I was not going to get a job. Me doing any form of work for money? Not going to happen.

"Then how were you going to get the spear?" she asked looking at the spear mounted to a wall.

"Simple, Dr. Fate didn't know how valuable the sword was thanks to how weak the spear was while recovering its strength. I would have used that to get the spear at a low price, as for what I would have paid... I would have dealt with that." I said lazily, the whole trip to the tower of Fate was supposed to be relaxing, but who would have expected I would see death 2 times in one day?

"Something is also off with my luck," I said remembering how I was so unlucky, how unlucky must I be to run into those side kicks and that lord of chaos?

"How would you even prove you're unlucky?" Rose asked to which I pulled out a coin, and went on to flip it.

"Head," I called out while catching the coin, and flipping it over, revealing it was head. I frowned, not understanding why I was getting lucky now. I even had Rose throw the Spear Of Destiny At me, but something happened each time which led to her missing.

The first time, a fly happened to fly by, almost entering her nose causing her to miss me. The second time, she suddenly needed to go take a shit, leading to her missing. I watched as she quickly ran off, leaving me blinking in confusion.

"Weird, does the lord of chaos have something to do with ignoring luck?" I asked with a frown. I thought for a good few seconds, before going upstairs.

"What's wrong?" I asked seeing Rose coming out of the Bathroom, she used the bathroom extremely fast, leaving me wondering if she even used it.

"False alarm." She said in slight embarrassment by all of this, but she was also confused. She had high mastery of her body, so even if she needed to go to the bathroom badly, it would never be out of control... yet just a moment ago, her body wouldn't listen to her. Crying at her to quickly go, just for that feeling to disappear as soon as she reached the bathroom. "Ha, looks like my luck reached a level where it could warp reality... oh, looks like I was subconsciously controlling it to protect me from harm. With there being an infinite number of dimensions, it means the possibility for a bomb just falling on you to protect me isn't too far from happening if it means I live." I said lightly, impressed by my current level of luck... but why was it not working a few hours ago? I will just pin the blame on Zeus and go on with my day.

Far away, the 3 sisters let out a deep sigh of relief that the blame wasn't pinned on them. "W-wait, so you're saying by attacking you, I risked someone like Darkseid falling on top of me?" Rose asked her eye twitching at how close to death she was.

"Yeah, highly unlikely. but let's say for a moment Darkseid was traveling through a wormhole or something and something bad happened leading him to be sucked into space-time... well, there is a chance a worm whole might have just opened in front of you, with him rocketing out at the speed of light, killing you." I said to which Rose's eye twitched,

Sure, it might not be Darkseid, but with an infinite number of dimensions out there, how many beings were traveling through portals, worm wholes, and so on? Let's increase the scale to the whole multiverse, and then the infinite numbers of multiverses.

There were an infinite number of ways she could have died just a moment ago, and that fact caused her to have to freeze, taking that fact in.

Anyways, we returned upstairs where Amazo had cooked everyone a meal. We all sat at the table... well, Harley took a seat in my lap, she wasn't a very good housekeeper since she through the job to Amazo to do.

"So, hubby, what's her next adventure?" Harley asked, taking a sniff off my body, causing her to smile for a moment as if she had just got a taste of the best drug. I adapted to her weirdness, so this didn't affect me.

"I don't know, let's see if anything pops up... I shouldn't have given Lex such a large time window to get me the stuff." I said calmly while eating the food. I didn't need to eat, sleep, or even breathe. Still, I enjoyed eating. But for that reason, I didn't eat as much as the Saiyan.

"How about we get the Lazarus Pit?" Slade asked, causing me to look at him, confused as to the effect of the item he just named.

"The Lazarus Pit is a supernatural pool, capable of instantly healing injuries, resurrecting the dead, and even granting immortality to those who bathe," Slade said causing my eyebrow to raise as I could add another layer to my immortality... so yeah, we would be getting that.

"It would also come with the leader of an assassin organization that has lived for hundreds of years," Slade said making my eyes glow at the possibility. Good things, all of this was just too good for me to pass up.

"Put that on my to-do list, I will see that man in due time. for now, I want to get a green lantern ring since I have this. "I said while pulling out the Green Lantern Power Battery. It was inside the Tower Of Fate and was out of power. I recharged it, and now I needed to get myself a Green Lantern Ring.

"So, a space adventure?" Harley asked to which I nodded after a few seconds, unsure if I should leave space so quickly. Plus, how would we understand the alien tongue? It would be foolish to assume that the whole universe speaks English. Just the thought of having to learn a completely new language from scratch, and at that, the language might not be able to be spoken by humans thanks to the human body being unable to hear or repeat the sounds... sigh, what a pain this would be.

"We also would need a ship, it would be too fast if we simply flew around," I said calmly, wondering if there were ships out there that could travel at the speed of light. Reaching the Speed of light was impossible. When I flicked my finger in that dimension, it was at the speed of light.

That flick carried infinite mass, and reached the speed limit of the universe, leading to the effect seen with space cracking. That was light speed, everything just stopped. Even space in my eyes had frozen. If I went beyond light speed, I would be reaching the stage where I reach point B before I leave Point A.

Think of leaving your home at 9:00, and arriving at work at 8:59. You move so fast that time flows backward. Anyone who can travel faster than light has the hopes of going backward in time, they need to just control that speed. Just throwing out that speed would lead to the universe cracking, but skillfully using that speed would lead to one being able to reach crazy levels of speed... just look at the Flash. The only thing that made him special was his connection to the Speed Force and that he was smart.

The Speed Force is a cosmic energy field and force based on velocity and movement and one of the Seven Forces of the infinite webs of multiverses. Just see the Speed Force as Ki, everyone has Ki, but how many people can sense it and channel it? Without the Speed Force, the multiverse no longer has movement. Without Ki, well a person dies... seems similar enough to

me.

Anyways, Anyone who normally goes the speed of light is not truly moving at the speed of light. They are cheating to reach that speed.

"Ever since Jupiter has been destroyed, asteroids have become more common," Superman said while entering the WatchTower after stopping another asteroid that was going to hit Earth. Jupiter's destruction had a huge impact on Earth, from now on Jupiter's Gravity would not pull on Earth. Sure the effect will not be noticed for the next thousands of years, but it will

one day be noticed.

Jupiter was also like a shield for the earth, protecting it against Asteroids and other such things, without Jupiter... well, Superman and the other members of the Justice League had a

lot of work.

"What happened?" Superman asked seeing Dr. Fate was the one to call for the meeting, and Vixen was there. This pointed towards Broly, causing him to get serious. Superman didn't know how to think of Broly.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

A part of him wished to lock Broly away, but another part was grateful that Broly wasn't an evil madman who went around doing whatever he wanted. Yes, Broly stole from the president, but that was the only time he had ever done such a thing. Funny enough, the guy who wants to be free makes the effort to follow the rules, like buying stuff, paying rent, and

the list goes on.

When he first moved to Gothom, Broly didn't force his way into having an apartment, he

instead searched for a place that would allow him to move in right away. That was something that was overlooked by many, but when Batman pointed it out to him, Superman found it hard to get a read on Broly character.

"Broly has fought off Death... many beings would be coming to Earth, seeking Broly's secrets." Dr. Fate said lightly.

"What are you saying?" Batman asked

"Broly can't die no matter what, for even Death can't hold him. This news sent ripples across creation, we should expect beings like Darkseid, and higher dimensional beings to come to earth seeking to speak with Broly. Death would come for all living things, sure many could come back to life, but that's because she allows it... yet for Broly, she is helpless." Dr. Fate said causing everyone to go quiet, not knowing what to say to that.

And indeed, many were coming to earth. Even a seal that held a powerful demon was cracking,

for the being within wished to step into the world and see the one known as Broly... and a poor emo girl found herself not having nightmares anymore, leaving her confused.
