Chapter 393 - Thousand Ore Cave
The words of how a human younger than twenty years old that was not even at the Ascender Stage killed several creatures way above his cultivation base all alone and how another killed a peak Ascender Stage expert with a single swing of the hand spread like wildfire to almost every corner of the Second Realm.
Some thought it was impossible and ignored it, some just laughed at the rumors thinking someone wished to acquire fame and attention like this while others used different means to see if the gossips were true or not.
And after a lengthy searching, those individuals had to find with utter disbelief that what others thought of as a joke or prank was, in the end, indeed the truth!
Therefore, slowly but surely, the news about those two humans doing something seemingly impossibly began to spread even further into the Second Realm, small pieces even reaching the ears of a few beings inside the Third Realm through different means!
Meanwhile, these two individuals who almost everyone was talking about and wished to learn more were currently at the entrance of an average sect, one that was seemingly before a huge change in the near future!
"Though, why did you follow us?" standing before the huge gate of Moon Sect, Khal glanced at the individual on his side.
"I already told you this before. I wish to join this sect hence why I came with you here." Darla said with a nonchalant complexion, her eyes glancing left and right as she examined the sect's exterior.
Upon hearing what Darla said, Khal glanced at Senior Lin, curious to see what she will say at that statement. Although they have already left Planet Roxa for more than several hours with Darla following them without question, Senior Lin didn't say a single word, thus unknown if she will allow someone who was not a human to join the sect.
Senior Lin obviously noticed the gaze on her and despite feeling still shock that her strength was increased she showed a serious expression and said, "There are no rules which state just humans can join this sect. Though, despite being a Limit Breaker, she still has to take the test to determine if she deserves to be a Core Disciple."
"I see..." Khal nodded, asking no further questions.
The three walked through the sect calmly and quickly reached the building where each and every newly recruited individual takes their tests. And under Senior Lin's supervision, Darla perfectly finished her test, becoming a Core Disciple right away.
"Where are you going?" once she got her robes, token and other accessories, Darla followed after Khal while examining the sight in Moon Sect.
"I am going to buy some materials," Khal replied briefly, already knowing where he should go.
"Materials? For what?" Darla asked with a slightly raised brow.
"I am going to forge."
"Huh? You can forge? Since when?" Darla looked at Khal, seemingly curious to hear the answer.
"About a year slowly." Khal answered as he arrived before this huge building which had the name of 'Thousand Ore Cave'.
"It is quite spacious inside here," Darla exclaimed with surprise once they were inside, watching how thousands of different shaped ores and crystals were placed next to one another in an organized manner.
The room was about a hundred square meters filled with numerous tables and small pillars, each containing at least 5 different ores on them.
"Welcome to Thousand Ore Cave, a place where you can find all kinds of ores in vast amounts! Oh? You must be the new Elder, right?" a man with small but muscular stature and long hair showed a wide grin, looking almost like a dwarf.
"Yeah, kinda. It is a pleasure to meet you..." Khal extended his arms forward for a handshake.
"Haha, just call me Jole." Jole laughed loudly which was raw and forceful but not unpleasant to the ear.
"Wait, what? You are an... Elder? But you are only..." while looking around the place Darla suddenly snapped her head at Khal, looking him up and down with disbelief shining in her eyes.
Although she was never a part of a sect before as she didn't wish to until now, she was well aware of how their systems worked and what the different statues in them were.
Thus, she was perfectly aware of what the title of an ELder meant and how one could become!
Khal glanced at Darla and showing a slightly cocky smile said, "Yep, and that makes me your Elder, your 'superior' too."
"You..." Darla wished to refute Khal, but as she realizes he was indeed right she could only remain silent and stare at Khal with mixed emotions flickering in her eyes.
"Haha, it seems the young miss is someone new here too. So you must be an Outer Court Disciple, huh?" Jole asked coolly.
"I am already a Core Disciple." Darla's expression quickly changed and became ice-cold as she replied.
"Huh? But..." Jole was surprised but once he got a better look at Darla his eyes lit up as he seemed to understand why and nodded, "I see. Haha! I am glad our sect had gained another priceless talent."
Darla hearing the flattery words just turned around and continued to inspect the ores, completely ignoring Jole.
"Aha... She is quite the cold one." Jole scratched his cheek with a bittersweet smile and laughed awkwardly.
"You tell me?" Khal sighed helplessly before his face became serious and asked, "Anyways, what is the best ore you have?"
Jole gave one final glance at Darla and as if he has completely forgotten about her he crossed his arms before his chest and said, "I have ores from every quality, starting from Low to Supreme. Though from the latter I only have a few and they have quite the hefty price."
"Price is not a problem so just show me the best you have," Khal replied with an indifferent face, knowing that with his amount of Contribution Points at his disposal he can buy at least one Supreme Quality ore if not more!
"I see, then please wait here for a second. I will bring you the ores right away.." Jole nodded with glee and quickly ran into the room on the left side, seemingly happy that finally someone will buy Supreme Quality ores from him after a long while.
