Chapter 243 – Aiko! Not again!
Chapter 243 – Aiko! Not again!
Aiko walked underneath the floor, listening to the babbling cultivators.
She realised that there were a LOT of Cultivators and not so many normal Mortals. It seems like the Emperor is going all out for this. What puzzled Aiko was the fact that there were so many Cultivators.
From her limited knowledge, she knew that Cultivators had their own pride and it was incredibly difficult to hire them. Sure, you had the Wandering Cultivators and Mercenary Cultivators, but they were fewer in numbers and much weaker.
This amount of Cultivators just didn't fit this place.
'Well... I did not see any Treasures...' Aiko surmised that they might've used all their wealth to hire a few, but so many... 'How fishy...' She narrowed her small eyes.
Aiko sensed powerful Cultivators in a certain direction and went there. Those low-stage Cultivators only talked about Senior Sisters and the gifts that they wanted to give them.
Aiko was sick and tired of them. Senior Sister this, Senior Sister that. Aiko felt like they had some kind of disease that prevented them from thinking about other things.
As she expected, the powerful Cultivators had a much better conversation.
"Is it confirmed?" One old Cultivator asked the other.
"Yes, they have dew inside their bodies. If we can extract it, we can easily make Perfect, maybe even Heavenly Graded Pills." The other answered.
"That's great, but we are still paid so we will have to wait, after all, we are righteous Cultivators." He sipped his tea. "It would be bad if bad rumours spread and we would get less 'young blood'."
"Maybe if you didn't act like those idiots that want to capture Foxes, you would not care about such things." The other Cultivator snorted at him disdainfully.
"You say that, but you did enjoy that young-"
Never mind. It seems like the old geezers were no different from the young bastards.
Aiko could only shake her head and move away, now it seemed like she also had a time limit on this whole thing...
"Could you believe that those bastards want to keep the dew without telling us?"
A very angry voice drifted from the nearby room and Aiko's ears perked.
'Maybe?' She sneakily got closer so she could listen to them.
"It's not enough that I had drawn that beautiful behind into the city, I suppose another Cultivation Sect wants a matching decoration." Another voice snorted.
"That is a good idea, Elder." The first voice said blatantly licking the Elder's boots.
"But we will have to wait, unlike those bastards, we have an actual reputation to uphold." The Elder scoffed at them before continuing. "Moreover, it's not like their numbers are greater than ours, we also have more Nascent Soul Cultivators, so there is no need to worry that they would steal it from under our noses." The Elder shrugged and sipped his tea once again.
Aiko narrowed her eyes. It seemed like not every camp inside here was from the same place, which meant that she could cause chaos if she did it correctly.
But for now, she should definitely find the Princess.
...
It took Aiko quite some time since for some reason this whole place moves in certain intervals. Like, it became one big maze that you could get easily lost in.
Aiko huffed in annoyance since it took her so much time before she found a dilapidated building next to a very beautiful one.
The beautiful one had only a bedroom and that was it, while the small one was a prison. They held the Princess over there and kept her from going anywhere, which made this easier for Aiko.
The bad thing was the fact that this place was littered with Arrays and they would definitely trigger when she kidnapped the Princess. This means her plan changed to first dealing with the corpses or causing chaos and last would be Princess.
Aiko did not know how to cause chaos just yet, but she believed that if she sneaked around and remembered this maze and the intervals that the maze changed, there would be an opportunity to cause chaos.
'But I still should hurry.' Aiko didn't want to fail this plan.
She sneaked around for hours trying to remember the changes, intervals, and everything around it, but the bastard made the changes without rhyme or reason, making it difficult for Aiko to understand.
It took her a few days to finally figure out the pattern, giving her full access to the entire Palace.
Aiko was able to casually walk without being found and she no longer got lost while doing so.
And as she expected, a situation to cause chaos presented itself.
"Senior Sister, did he really stalk you?!" A young Female Cultivator asked in shock.
"En..." The stalked female Cultivator cried.
"That lowlife!" The others clicked their tongues, not believing his shamelessness.
"We will protect you, Senior Sister!" Another female Cultivator said.
Aiko got close to them since they were weak and sniffed them, so she could remember their smells.
She could nab a few of her things and place them in the places where the male Cultivators had accommodation, as she did previously. This should cause quite some chaos.
Aiko sneaked into the side Palaces, but that's where most Mortals lived, which means the main Palace is where they had accommodations.
This was a chore for her since the distance was not small. This whole thing annoyed her since Humans tend to build overly large or distant places.
Aiko moved stealthily around the rooms until she picked up the female smells.
She traced them into their rooms and sniffed a bit more to locate that specific stalked female Cultivator.
Aiko was shocked at the number of undies she had stored in a 'safe' place, it was very easy to nab one.
She then sneaked into the male side the place marked by its putrid smell and placed it under the bedsheets, but still left a part peeking out so it was obvious someone tried to hide it.
Now she had to wait and watch the chaos, but from a distance. She would then return to the rooms, nab the rest and place it into the other male rooms.
Aiko went outside satisfied with her work when she encountered a lazy, sleeping male Cultivator. She narrowed her eyes as this was the perfect target for the rest of the undies.
Aiko took her time to trace his room while keeping an ear out, so she could hear the unfolding chaos.
It took them half a day to notice that something was missing, but they still caused significant ruckus.
Well, she did scream a lot at them while crying, so it attracted the attention even of the numerous Elders.
Aiko lifted her eyebrow, she did not expect this chaos to be so great...
She immediately rushed back into the girls’ dorm and nabbed the rest of the undies.
[You have acquired the Title: [Underwear Thief]!]
[Underwear Thief]
[Degenerates will love you, but anyone wearing underwear will hate you.]
Aiko wanted to curse the system, but there was not enough time, she needed to deliver this to its 'rightful' place, so the chaos could continue!
Aiko would do her best to stretch the chaos for as long as possible. It was important that she had enough time to nab the corpses and Princess!
Aiko stored the undies all over his room to make it obvious he was a pervert, but just as she was about to leave; she noticed that one Elder was quickly approaching.
Aiko did not have enough time to leave the room so she had to hide behind a closet, cursing them silently.
The Elder almost face-planted once he saw the room.
"FANG, COME TO ME IMMEDIATELY!" The Elder roared at the top of his lungs, which shook Aiko's body.
-500 HP
Aiko was shocked that the simple scream dealt so much damage to her. Sure, she still had more than 100,000 HP, but that was just a scream!
Aiko could not go against him head-on as she worried what damage he might cause and stayed put.
Everyone rushed over only to recoil or frown in disgust.
Aiko observed them and was trying to find a way to escape, but everyone was staring inside the room so it was impossible...
One girl in particular stared right where Aiko was. There was a sound of dice rolling in her hand, before her body stiffened.
Her eyebrow twitched, but she didn't say anything and entered her room, heading towards the hidden little Fox.
She did not expose the little Fox and 'discreetly' took down one of the undies, before stomping a hole into the ground.
That attracted everyone's attention, but since she had a long dress, it concealed the hole.
Aiko narrowed her eyes, this feeling of being helped was foreign in this kind of situation and there was no way in hell this girl knew about her.
Contrary to what Aiko believed, the girl knew about her through her Divination. It was different to other Divinations as she had a lot more control over what she divined. That meant she could divine a very specific thing, like if there was someone hidden inside the room and who it was.
The girl knew that the Fox had a bad temper, but she was not ultimately bad, so she would help her. She was a bit upset that her favourite undies were nailed on the wall, thus leaving a very bad hole inside them, but that could not be helped.
She didn't like her own Sect for what they are doing currently and if someone can cause chaos, she would welcome it, so she could return to her Sect and keep improving her Divination.
Aiko sneaked under her skirt, which stiffened her whole body. The fur was very soft and tickled the girl's legs. She had a hard time not to giggle from the sensation, but fortunately, the small Fox was quick.
Aiko scurried away as one of the Elders narrowed her eyes. She saw something moving behind their Disciple and she had suspicion about this whole situation.
She stretched her Divine Sense to find who it was, but the only things around were small animals, which puzzled her.
The animal that she might've seen was even further away munching on something, so it's impossible to be that one and the others were likewise either munching or sleeping.
The Elder tilted her head as she found it odd, but she was also old, so it might've been her age playing with her eyes.
What was currently important, was the fact that she had to calm the Divination Cultivator. They were too precious to lose and only a few of them could be as good as this girl, so her priority would be to appease her for the time being...
