A few minutes later, after navigating through a maze of winding paths and taking numerous detours, Felix and his companions finally stumbled upon a vast underground chamber that appeared freshly excavated.
The sheer size of the room took Trinity, Gwendolyn, Brixton, Zephyr, and Nixie by surprise; they never imagined such an expansive space could exist beneath the core area of the estate.
"Big bro, did the construction workers do this?" Zephyr asked, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Yes," Felix replied with a nod.
"So what are we doing here? Are we setting up a secret base?" Nixie inquired eagerly.
Felix shook his head playfully and flicked her forehead. "More than that."
Curiosity sparked among the group as they exchanged glances. What grand plan did Felix have for this enormous underground room?
With a focused expression, Felix closed his eyes.
Moments later, he opened them to reveal a glowing ball of light emerging from his forehead revelation Arthur with his main body which is the vault floating beside him.
"Master Felix," Arthur said respectfully as he bowed.
Felix gestured toward the chamber. "I want you to place it here."
Arthur surveyed the area thoughtfully before nodding. "This location is indeed suitable, Master Felix." With that affirmation, the small low-grade vault began expanding right before their eyes!
The group instinctively stepped back several meters as they watched in awe.
"Big bro, are you really going to put the vault here?" Zephyr asked incredulously.
"Yeah," Felix confirmed with a grin.
Zephyr hesitated for a moment before voicing her concern. "But isn't that risky?"
"Nope! There's nothing risky about this," Felix reassured her. "With Arthur overseeing it, nothing can go wrong, and besides, the vault's defense mechanisms are top-notch."
The others exchanged glances but eventually nodded in agreement.
Felix had decided to place the vault here for good reason: Trinity and her friends sometimes needed resources and that couldn't always be accessed directly from him.
By allowing them access to this location, he would ease some burdens on himself while ensuring their needs were met without draining his soul energy.
As the vault kept staying in his consciousness, his soul energy is always being drained whenever he took something from the vault, something that made casting spells increasingly difficult for him.
BOOM!
Suddenly the vault expanded dramatically until it measured more than a mile wide and long before settling heavily into place within the underground chamber like it was meant to be there all along.
What had once been a small structure transformed into an impressive silver hall adorned with massive iron gates etched with flickering runes.
"Come!" Felix beckoned as he strode toward the gates with Trinity and the others following closely behind.
At the center of these grand gates lay an enormous circular metal plate inscribed with blood runes, a striking centerpiece surrounded by veins running across its surface.
"Each of you, drop a bit of your blood onto this metal plate," Felix instructed, gesturing to the circular surface nestled in the center of the gate.
Trinity, Zephyr, Gwendolyn, and Nixie exchanged curious glances.
"Why do we need to do that?" they asked, but Felix simply urged them to proceed. With hesitant resolve, they each let a drop fall onto the gleaming plate.
In an instant, their blood was absorbed as if the metal were alive veins of crimson energy coursed through intricate runes etched into its surface.
For a fleeting moment, the entire gate glowed a vivid blood red before returning to its original state.
Suddenly, an overwhelming sense of unity washed over Trinity and her friends; it felt as though they and the vault had become one. A comforting familiarity enveloped them like a warm blanket.
"From now on," Felix continued with a grin, "you can enter the vault anytime you wish! Just let Arthur guide you, he knows his way around better than anyone." He nodded toward Arthur, who floated beside him with an air of arrogance.
The group looked at Arthur skeptically but nodded in agreement.
"Arthur," Felix said firmly, "you're responsible for keeping an eye on the vault. If anything unusual happens and you can't handle it, let me know immediately."
"Yes Master Felix!" Arthur responded without missing a beat; his haughty demeanor vanished as he bowed deeply.
"Good," Felix replied with satisfaction before turning back to the others. "Now let's head back!"
With that command echoing in their ears, they retraced their steps toward the pavilion.
------------------------------
Seven days zipped by in the blink of an eye. During this whirlwind week, Felix and his companions immersed themselves in the grandeur of their new surroundings, the sprawling estate and the vibrant Royal Capital.
As for Felix himself, roamed through the capital with unquenchable curiosity.
Even after a full week of wandering, he had barely scratched the surface, less than 10% of the district he was currently in was explored!
The sheer size was staggering, but there was no rush; he was more interested in familiarizing himself with the area surrounding their estate.
Throughout these seven days, Felix mapped out plans in his mind while visiting numerous taverns to gather snippets of information about life in the Kingdom. He encountered fascinating people and sights along the way.
Instead of sticking to his cultivation regimen, he opted for relaxation and enjoyment, after all, sometimes you just need to unwind!
Zephyr and the others were on similar adventures.
This was their first time in the Royal Capital too, so every corner held something new and exciting for them.
Cultivation? That thought had completely slipped their minds as they chose to savor each moment instead.
All in all, it was a blissful week filled with leisure and discovery.
---------------------------
Inside one expansive room at the Morningstar Family Estate lay an intricate circular pattern adorned with mysterious runes, a stunning 5-Star Mana Gathering Formation!
This rare setup was almost palpable with dense Mana swirling around them; cultivating here for just one day equated to an entire month outside!
If any seasoned Mana Cultivators caught sight of this formation, they'd be left utterly astounded.
Felix had invested a considerable amount of BEP into creating this cultivation sanctuary, there were ten such rooms scattered throughout their estate.
At its center sat a massive wooden bathtub filled with bubbling red liquid, blood essence from a Drake they had defeated in Dragonskull Dungeon.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Jarvis had mentioned that this blood essence could temper their bodies but time constraints had kept them from using it until now.
With plenty of time on their hands in the Royal Capital, and knowing how dangerous it could be if they didn't boost their strength, they decided it was finally time to harness that power.
Felix retrieved a bottle containing violet liquid and poured it into the blood essence. Instantly, it began boiling vigorously!
"Damn," Felix muttered under his breath as he braced himself for what lay ahead. After shedding his clothes and taking a deep breath, he stepped gingerly into the wooden bathtub filled with seething blood essence.
"Hisss!" He inhaled sharply as he submerged himself fully. In mere moments, his skin turned crimson; intense pain shot through him like lightning!
"Fuck!" he groaned as tremors wracked his body, the sensation felt like being fried alive!
He was engulfed in an excruciating pain, as if he were being fried alive. This torment felt like just the tip of the iceberg. How could one endure such agony?
Struggling to maintain his composure, he began running his Cultivation technique, slowly absorbing the blood essence with each cycle.
But with every circulation, the pain doubled, making it nearly impossible to focus on his task. Yet, he knew he had to push through.
As he continued this grueling process, a thick black liquid oozed from his body, releasing a foul stench that filled the air.
His skin seemed to shed itself like old paint, only to be replaced moments later, a bizarre cycle that persisted as the blood essence dwindled.
An hour passed in this torturous dance until finally, all the blood essence was absorbed, leaving behind only a clear liquid.
Felix was now entirely coated in that repugnant black substance which quickly dried up around him.
With a tremor coursing through his body, the dried remnants fell away to reveal Felix's well-toned physique, his skin still tinged with a hint of red.
Externally unchanged yet internally transformed, immense power was brewing within him.
BOOOOOM!
In an instant, Felix's eyes shot open as an overwhelming surge of power erupted from within him, obliterating the wooden bathtub he had been lounging in.
The Mana inside the Cultivation Room began to swirl and coalesce around him, seeping into his body through every pore.
He hungrily absorbed the Mana, feeling it invigorate him with each passing moment.
As his aura intensified, the pressure radiating from him grew so formidable that even the sturdy walls of the room, designed to withstand a Tier 8 Mythic Knight's full might, began to tremble.
Half an hour later...
BANG!
A thunderous explosion reverberated from within Felix, sending shockwaves through the Cultivation Room as if it were on the brink of collapse.
The ten Low Grade Mana Crystals nearby disintegrated into fine powder in an instant.
The energy emanating from Felix was palpable; it thickened the air around him until it felt like walking through mud.
With a newfound clarity, Felix opened his eyes and rose slowly to his feet. His body crackled with sounds reminiscent of popping beans as his bones adjusted to this new power.
A wave of comfort washed over him, a sensation akin to soaking in warm water, prompting a satisfied grin to spread across his face.
He clenched his fist triumphantly and exclaimed, "Finally a breakthrough! What a surprise!"
