Chapter 37: Purchase
Chapter 37: Purchase
The academy had a shop selling stuff such as magical herbs, magical devices, energy resources, materials, and so on, each worth a lot, but for good reasons. A lot of these items were obtained through teenage magicians putting their life at risk, wandering the wilderness, fighting monsters of different evolutionary stages, challenging the trials of the ancients, and on on.
Of course, they will sell it at a high price to get repaid for their hard work.
The group of four walked past the street illuminated by milky white light emitting out of lamps on both sides of the street, and they entered a rather large building seemingly no different than the buildings of medieval time.
“Welcome to the magic shop, dear customer.” Wendy Conner, a young woman with sparkly white teeth, smooth skin, and eyes as beautiful as a sapphire, working as a part-time attendant of the magic shop, said with a pleasant smile on her face.
They turned to look at her, and John felt mesmerized by her figure, and although she wasn’t nearly as beautiful as Lisa, Wendy contained a seductive charm of her own, amplified by the clothes she wore, which exposed just a little bit of her perfect skin and left the rest up to one’s imagination.
“Nice to meet you, too,” John said with a silly smile on his face.
Wendy nodded and said, “If you would like to look for something and are finding it hard to look for it, then please don’t hesitate to call out to me.”
“We are here to buy a magic crystal, one for each of us,” Theo said, telling her their purpose to come here. “Are you selling?”
“Indeed, we are,” Wendy replied, a pleasant smile on her face.
“That’s great!” Lisa exclaimed jovially.
Magic crystals are usually in high demand, and it was rare to come across them in a shop close to the academy where everyone’s a magician that uses magic crystals the most for all sorts of purposes.
“May I ask, are you also trying to engrave a magic matrix on your body?” Wendy asked after a moment.
“Huh? How did you know?” John asked, wondering how she found out that they want Magic crystals to engrave magic matrices on their bodies.
“You see… A lot of people have come here today for the same purpose.” Wendy replied.
When they were out there in the cafeteria, eating this and that, many students have come to purchase magic crystals for the same purpose.
“Why did you ask that?” Elliot asked, wondering if she has some other reason to ask such a question.
“I would like to recommend the intermediate-grade magic crystals as they will help make it easier and faster for you to create and engrave a magic matrix on your body,” Wendy said, telling them that a magic crystal obtained from the body of a monster in the demonic realm.
“Sure, we will buy it.”
“Just give us the best.”
Theo, John, and Lisa had a lot of magic coins in their hands, so they didn’t kind purchasing the best of the best for the sake of luxury and comfort.
“Great,” Wendy said, taking a box from below the stands and placing it on the table before opening it, revealing four crystals, the same color as her eye.
“How much is it?” Elliot asked, looking at Wendy.
“From left to right, these four crystals belong to monsters in the seventh, fifth, third, and first levels of the demonic realm. Their prices range from seven thousand, five thousand, three thousand, and one thousand magic coins. In total, they are worth 16000 magic coins but if you buy them all at the same time, then you would only need to pay 15000 magic coins.” Wendy said, telling them about the prices of the crystals that varied from each other.
“We would like to purchase all of them,” Lisa said, handing over her quantum card to Wendy.
“A good choice,” Wendy said with a smile, accepting her card and swiping it at the checkout counter.
Intermediate-grade Magic crystals × 4 – 15000 magic coins!
“Your purchase has been made,” Wendy said as she returned the quantum card back to Lisa. She then packed the box containing four magic crystals and gave it to John to carry.
“Should we split the cost?” Theo said after they stepped out of the shop.
“Yes, please,” Lisa said in a hurry, proving that although she was rich, she was not a spendthrift.
“I would like to take the best intermediate-grade magic crystal,” John said as he handed over his quantum card to Lisa.
She subtracted 7000 magic coins from it before returning it to John.
“What about you?” Lisa asked, looking at Theo.
“I will do with the second-best,” Theo said as he also gave her his quantum card.
She subtracted 5000 magic coins from it before returning it to Theo. She then gave the third-best magic crystal to Elliot.
“You can keep this for free,” Lisa said with a smile.
“You sure?” Elliot asked, a bit taken back by her words.
“Yes, but if you really wanna repay me then let me be your girlfriend.” She said, smilingly as her lovely faced leaned a bit closer to Elliot.
She licked her rosy lips with her devilish tongue, indicating that he would be able to do a lot of fun things with her if only he accepts her as his woman.
“It’s too early for that,” Elliot said, looking away from her hot and gingery face, feeling as if he won’t be able to control his hands and knock her up.
He was, after all, a perfectly healthy man in his teenage, always waking up with a morning wood!
Elliot felt that if she continues seducing him then he might just end up giving in to his desires and knock her up.
“What are you thinking about?” Lisa asked, innocently looking at his reddened face.
“Nothing.”
Elliot shook his head, shaking off the naughty thoughts of him pressing Lisa and her moaning out his name in pain and pleasure that has popped up in his mind.
