Chapter 109 - Something Happened to Si Qian
Chapter 109: Something Happened to Si Qian
“In the Golden Triangle, the Lightning organization will disappear today!”
Bai Jing’s soft voice rang out, shaking Fu Heng so much that he almost fell to the ground. The onlookers also took a deep breath, calculating in their hearts that the territory of the Golden Triangle would be completely overturned today.
When Chou Hai heard Bai Jing’s words, he was extremely excited. Coiling Dragon had been bullied by Lightning for so long, but he didn’t expect that the one who would end this fate was actually this seemingly weak woman in front of him.
Fu Heng urgently asked Yun Wei for help, but Yun Wei couldn’t help him at all. He could only pretend that he didn’t hear.
Fu Heng was angry, but when he looked at the other party’s mortars and grenades, he could only endure it for the time being.
The one who was the most depressed was naturally Ni Kun. He had originally planned to bring Bai Jing to the Combat Division so that she and his disciple could work and fight together for the future of the Combat Division. But now, his stupid disciple had offended her, forget about working together, they might not even be able to meet again.
Ni Kun wanted to stop Bai Jing and try to salvage the situation. However, Bai Jing did not even look at him. She was focused on explaining things to Chou Hai.
Yun Wei suppressed the unwillingness in his heart and respectfully requested Ni Kun to go back with him.
Ni Kun was helpless. His expression was gloomy, but he had no other choice. He could only leave with Yun Wei. He had only walked a few steps when his phone rang. He looked at the number and immediately stopped in his tracks.
It was Si Qian’s adjutant’s personal number. With his rank, he would not easily talk to him. The only possibility was that Si Qian had instructed him to do so.
If he was able to request an assessment chance from Si Qian to enter the Combat Division’s laboratory, Bai Jing might change her attitude. Then, the knot between her and Yun Wei might be untied.
Ni Kun was overjoyed. He immediately picked up the phone and deliberately turned towards Bai Jing in an attempt to attract her attention. However, before he could speak, his expression changed.
“What? What was everyone doing?! Find him, find him immediately. Rubbish, there’s no chance! If anyone dares to say something negative to me again, I will immediately go and kill them.”
Ni Kun roared angrily. He was practically jumping up and down as he cursed. He was a hundred times angrier than when he saw Yun Wei and Bai Jing fighting.
This reaction frightened Yun Wei. He thought to himself, did something big happen to the Combat Division again?
Bai Jing was in the midst of giving instructions when she was suddenly interrupted by the loud noise and she furrowed her brows.
After Ni Kun listened to the adjutant’s report on the phone, he had no time to care about Yun Wei and Bai Jing.
The adjutant reported to him that Si Qian was buried in the bomb shelter and no one knew if he was alive or dead. They didn’t have much hope after searching for him for several hours to no avail.
Seeing that Ni Kun was anxious to leave, Yun Wei immediately chased after him and asked, “Teacher, did something happen to the Combat Division? Should I escort you back now?”
Ni Kun originally wanted to ask Yun Wei for help, but Si Qian’s identity was special. If something happened to him, the Combat Division would definitely fall into chaos. Before they could confirm whether Si Qian was alive or dead, this matter must not be leaked.
Ni Kun’s hesitation made Yun Wei very uncomfortable. He felt that his teacher was ostracizing him and did not trust him as much as before. Could it be because he had hit Bai Jing? But, Ni Kun had never told him that Bai Jing was the master of firearms.
“No need, it’s nothing serious. You should return home after settling your own matters. Don’t expect others to clean up your mess. I’m so annoyed!”
Ni Kun yelled angrily and left.
When he passed by Bai Jing, he wanted to greet her but gave up. He was worried about Si Qian, so he didn’t think too much about it. However, Bai Jing frowned as she watched Ni Kun’s back disappear into the distance. Her chest felt even more stifled.
