"What's the matter?" William and Sophia entered the living room. They were curious as to why Michael said to come over here.
Keith, Orin, and May were in the room.
"He needs to talk to you," Michael pointed at Orin. Orin bowed his head,
"Marquis and Marchioness, what I'm about to say must not leave this room." Orin had a grave expression as he said this.
William tilted his head, "What's the matter?"
"The kid had revolutionalized the magic tool world," Orin stated.
"Hmm?" "Huh?"
"I did nothing," Keith said with a funny expression. He only twirled some wires together.
"Please check this out." Orin handed the creation Keith made for William and Sophia to see.
"It's three mana wires twirled together."
"It may look simple. But this creation has the same mana capacity as six wires next to one another." Orin explained.
"...What?" William and Sophia blinked a few times when they heard that.
"If you don't believe me, please try it yourself." Orin handed some mana wires to them.
William and Sophia tried it out.
"..." There was a calm silence in the office. But the tension was the opposite! It was dense enough to cut it!
"Keith, how did you create this?" William questioned.
"I was testing around with the wires. Orin told me about the problem, so I wanted to see if I could solve it. And I thought, what about twirling them together?" Keith explained.
"...I see." William blinked his eyes a few times.
"But do you understand how groundbreaking this is?" Sophia questioned Keith.
"No." Keith shook his head. He didn't think much about it.
Orin grabbed his head and looked at the two, "Do you understand why I had to come here to talk to you about this, Marquis?"
"I see," William explained to Keith,
"Keith, what you did solved a problem that not even the smartest scholars could do."
"Eh?"
"Many scholars wondered how they could make mana wires stronger without using so much. By doing this, it means cheaper production of magic items. But it also means that you can create strong magic tools. An example is the heating lamps. It requires a lot of mana wires to produce one."
"I see." So it's more cost-efficient without lowering the efficiency.
"That is why it's so groundbreaking." William sighed. Our youngest is too explosive.
He decided, "Orin, thank you for telling me this. I will send word to someone about this. None of this gets out to everyone, understood?"
"Mmhmm," The group nodded.
"Aria, carry this letter. You're the fastest." William wrote a letter and handed it to Aria.
"Ho!" Aria nodded as she flew out the window!
"You guys can go. You don't have to worry about anything." William smiled. Keith scratched his head,
"Did I do a bad thing?"
"No. In fact, you did something so great and beneficial for everyone." Orin stated.
"Really?" From how you guys said it before, it seemed the world would end.
"Now then, I shall create the oven with your design," Orin stated with a happy expression. With this new groundbreaking discovery, he was more excited.
"When will it be finished?"
"I will have it done by tomorrow." Orin crunched his knuckles.
"Alright." Orin left the estate, ready to work to the bone.
"The young master is the greatest!" "Keith is the coolest!" May and Fira declared.
"Heh, I don't think so." Keith rubbed his nose. But when he thought about it,
"The idea is still on!"
