Cadmus and Julius were the first people to pick up the plates. They stared at the food in wonder, "What is this?"

"That's fried orc with onions."

"And this one?"

"That's ember chicken and eggs," Keith stated.  

"Please try." Keith smiled. Cadmus and Julius took a bite. And when they did, they said nothing. Instead of saying anything, they continued to eat! It didn't take long for them to finish, 

"Seconds!"

"Sure." Keith chuckled as he placed more onto their plates. The others were eating at a quick pace as well. 

Miyuki and the babies were having some plain noodles. But Keith added some herbs to give it flavor. While they ate, Fira asked, "Keith, can I get some cookies?"

"Oh! I want cookies as well." Carolyn added.

"Sure." Keith went into his storage and took a jar out. He handed the cookies to them.

"Cookies?" Cadmus tilted his head as he stared at the round circles in the girl's hand.

"Mmhmm. Do you want one?"

"Yes!" Cadmus didn't hesitate to say. Keith handed a cookie to him, and he took a bite, "So good!" He couldn't help but shout out.

"How could you make something so delicious?" Cadmus stared at Keith. 

"The milk tea was good as well," Julius added. He tried the milk tea, and it was delicious.  

"What?" Cadmus tilted his head. "Milk in tea?"

"It's condensed milk in tea." Keith corrected. He took out a jar of condensed milk.

"Po!" But Miyuki and the babies jumped up when they smelled it! Keith was taken aback, "You guys want to try?"

"Po! Po! Po!" The Samuis shouted out.

Keith laughed, "Alright, I will put some on some bread." Keith took out some loaves and a spoon.

Their eyes sparkled as they watched Keith drizzle the condensed milk onto the bread. 

"So sweet!" "It's sweeter than the cookies!" 

"There's also pudding as well." Derek blurted out. 

"Pudding?" It wasn't Cadmus, Julius, and Sohma tilting their heads. Thalia and Carolyn did it as well. 

"Kid, how many things did you guys eat?!" Julius and Cadmus quickly rushed to Derek. Their eyes were frightening. 

"Not that much!" Derek quickly shut his mouth. 

"William, what have you been hiding from me?!" "How could you hide this from your principal?!"

William held his ears as he looked away. Annoying.

"I do have some here if you want to try?" Keith brought out a crate. Camelia and Lionel were fans of pudding. That was why he made more. 

"Oooh." Keith handed each one of them a cup. 

"This looks so pretty," Carolyn stated. All of them ate, and they were so content with it. Once they finished, 

"I've decided!" Cadmus turned to Keith, 

"Kid, do you want to live with me?"

"What?" Keith tilted his head. 

"How about it? I will teach you how to use void magic, and in return, you will cook me good food."

"No way!" Sophia shouted.

"Principal, you can't take our son away." William and Sophia stepped up.

"But it's so good!" Cadmus couldn't help but shout. Anyone could see pudding in his eyes. 

Keith shook his head, "I'm sorry, Grandpa Cadmus. But I'm content with my void magic right now." Having storage was the best. There was no need to learn anything else. 

"And besides, I will enroll in the academy in a few years." 

"Oh, yeah! Then forget it." Cadmus clapped his hands together. There was no need to worry about it now. 

Keith had an idea, "Grandpa Cadmus, how about I make you a deal."

"Hmm?" Everyone tilted their heads. 

"What kind of deal?"

"I want a place to cook and grow my own vegetables. Is this possible?" Keith questioned. He realized he wouldn't be having any of that when he enrolled.

Cadmus thought about it, "I can arrange it. But what do I get in return?"  There was no free lunch in this world.

"When I enroll, I will feed you one meal a day," Keith stated. Food was the key to this man. 

"One meal? That's too low." Cadmus huffed. His help wasn't that cheap.

"One meal and one snack a day," Keith added.

"One meal, three snacks a day!" Cadmus stated.

"One meal, two snacks!" 

"Deal!" Cadmus didn't even hesitate as he shook Keith's hand! And like that, they formed a contract with one another.
